Kendall and Aidan bond in LA. Ryan lies to Annie. Greenlee, Babe and Amanda hear Annie's wild tale. Dre and Sam meet; Colby eavesdrops on Adam.

Ryan wakes at the Yacht Club and is still thinking about Kendall. He is about to call her when Annie wakes. She says how great the night before was because they could finally talk about things. Ryan agrees that it was a great night and then asks if she needs to get Emma. Annie realizes he wants to get rid of her. Ryan tries to set her at ease but she is certain he is keeping secrets. He says he had a memory flash, which excites Annie, and then lies that the memory was of her! She hugs him, saying the rest will come, too. Ryan asks if he can see Emma soon and Annie says yes. While Annie gets ready for work Ryan has another memory flash of Kendall in Los Angeles. Annie returns from the bath and tells Ryan she'll see him later for their playdate with Emma and then leaves. When she is gone Ryan decides if he wants a chance with Annie he has to start at the beginning - with Kendall! He stays in his hotel room for a while, hoping for Kendall to call back. Frustrated, he finally calls the airport and books a flight to LA!

Kendall has a nightmare about her attacker; Aidan is there when she wakes and says it will be okay. She thanks him for staying in the room with her and Aidan reminds her how strong she has been, saying she will be just fine. Then, he updates her on Erica. Kendall calls Erica's but Zach answers! She is upset that he is there until he says Erica just needed advice. Kendall tells Aidan how strangely Zach was acting on the phone; Aidan says she shouldn't be worried about Erica and Zach and should have told him about the stalker. Kendall says she should just go home but Aidan reminds her that she can't. He says he read the book and it was great and she deserves to have the accolades she is getting now. Ryan calls and begs Kendall if they can talk. She says they can talk when she gets back to town and hangs up. Kendall starts to obsess about Ryan, wondering if she should have talked to him. Aidan escorts Kendall to the book signing. She is surprised to learn that Aidan likes poetry.

At the Yacht Club, Zach hangs up the phone and turns to Erica, saying he doesn’t like lying to Kendall. Erica thanks him for keeping things quiet but says some secrets need to be kept. Val calls, interrupting them, and puts a television reporter through to Erica. She sets up another interview to state her case. After she hangs up Erica points out that though she is going to prison she is going to make the most of it - and get back at Sam while she can! Zach and Erica walks on the boardwalk. She asks him to take over her business affairs while she is in prison. Zach is surprised but says he'll do it. Next, Erica asks him to keep a special eye on Kendall, too, and Zach says he will. When she is alone, Erica thinks about Kendall and Aidan sleeping together. "I'm sorry, Zach, but I have to keep this one secret," she says. Zach returns as Val calls with another interview request but Erica turns this one down. Just then a woman approaches Erica, saying what she did was a horrible crime. The woman hurries away but Erica is very affected by her words. Zach tries to reassure her. He calls Kendall and is surprised with Aidan answers. Zach asks how things are but Aidan doesn't tell him about the attempted rape; instead he says there is no sign of Ryan and Kendall is surrounded by fans. He leaves Erica, who runs in to Sam. She says they aren't finished yet and leaves.

Greenlee, Babe and Amanda arrive at Fusion. Amanda tells the other girls to get ready because their new assistant has arrived! The girl walks in with her iPod blaring and dressed like a punk. Greenlee shows her right back to the door and says the position has been filled. Another applicant arrives but this one is too rigid for the girls to take seriously. A third applicant comes in but she is looking for a model position. Once they are all gone, Greenlee and crew discuss the applicants and can't find a single one that they want to work with. They start to focus on the new perfume and packaging. Soon, though, Babe changes the subject and tells Amanda about Richie's transplant and JR falling off the wagon. Greenlee interrupts with scent papers, ready to move forward. Amanda reminds her that Kendall has the final say, annoying Greenlee. Babe asks when she will be able to finally let JR go. Greens compares Babe and JR to Jack and Erica. Annie arrives, smiling and in a good mood. Greens asks what has her so happy. Annie ignores the question and tries to focus on business but everyone knows she got lucky the night before and she finally comes clean. As she talks about Ryan remembering her, Greens becomes upset. She leaves the group and wonders why Ryan remembered Annie but couldn't remember her.

Adam calls a meeting with Samuel at the manse. Adam asks if Sam has been investigating him, too, and Sam admits he has. But, he says Adam has nothing to worry about. As they talk Colby and Dre arrive. "Hi, Dad," Dre says to Sam! Dre is very uncomfortable, especially when Adam starts quizzing him on his music. Dre walks away but Colby stays to try to smooth things over with Samuel. Sam follows Dre out. Colby goes on the attack with Adam, telling him that being nice to Dre because of his father is not a nice thing to do. "Family and blood lines count for something," Adam says, angering Colby. Adam's advisors call and Colby leaves. She listens at the door as Adam says he just talk to Sam and thinks he is in the clear. Then he tells his men to keep digging into Sam's past!

On the patio, Dre asks Samuel what he really wants with him. Sam says he just wanted to make sure his son was okay. Dre doesn't believe him no matter how much Samuel says he just wants his son back. Dre says there is too much in their past to be father and son now. "You're using Erica Kane just like you used mom," Dre says! Sam angrily says he isn't using his dead wife's memory for his campaign. Dre says he needed Sam back then but he doesn't need his father now. He leaves.
