Jesse and Tad continue their investigation. Annie worries about Ryan. Angie worries about Frankie. Babe worries about JR, who is in danger from Richie.
Annie backs away and Ryan doesn't even notice. Just then Zach and Aidan walk in and jab at Ryan about his pole routine. Kendall and Aidan get ready for their trip and Ryan leaves. Zach asks Annie if she is okay; she insists she is fine. Greens and Kendall tell the guys how great Annie was on the pole. She leaves, telling the group she isn't going to hide just because Ryan's lost his memory. Everyone catches up to Ryan, who is stuck at the elevator. Greens manages to open the door and everyone climbs inside. The elevator gets stuck half-way down! Aidan calls for help but the repairman says he can't be there for an hour. Kendall worries about her booksigning and both Zach and Ryan offer the use of their personal planes. This annoys Zach, who makes Ryan back off. Greenlee gets nervous but Zach reassures her that they aren't in a bunker this time. Ryan starts laughing about the time he and Kendall got stuck in an elevator. Greenlee talks about the time she and Ryan got stuck, too. All of the reminiscing annoys Annie who sarcastically comments that Ryan is the only man in the elevator who has slept with all three women. She rants for a bit before Zach tells her to calm down and be quiet! Zach says everyone needs to focus on the present, which annoys Ryan. His annoyance annoys Kendall, who tells Ryan to suck it up and move on. This annoys Greenlee, which annoys Annie and the whole argument cycles around. Ryan tries to reassure Annie but the more he talks the less assured Annie is. She wonders why Ryan can remember his ex-wife Greenlee and his ex-fiancee Kendall but can't remember his current wife. Aidan tries the engineer again but doesn't get an answer. This gives Greenlee something else to worry about and she starts banging on the walls, trying to attract attention. Zach manages to calm her down. Ryan tries calling for help when the elevator jerks. This freaks out Greenlee. Zach calms her by asking for a joke. The elevator finally begins to move.
All five grab a drink at conFusion. Ryan focuses on Greenlee this time around. Annie is the first to leave. Kendall calls Kelly to say she is on her way, then turns to Aidan and tells him to lighten up about what Greens said in the elevator because it was just a joke. Greenlee commandeers Aidan's attention. Kendall asks Zach to check in on Erica from time to time while she is gone and kiss the boys for her. She and Aidan leave for the book tour. Zach calls an associate, saying they need to talk. Greenlee heads across the bar to talk to Ryan, who is still at the bar. She asks where they should go first!
Angie returns to the cabin with a bag of groceries and calls to Jesse. He asks why she came back, reminding her it isn't safe. "You have got to stop coming out here," he says. Angie ignores the request and unloads her bag of goodies. She will only promise to be careful. Hungry, Jesse plows through the food and is excited for some of Angie's mac-n-cheese. Angie brings up Remy and tells him about the questions Derek asked. Jesse is partially relieved and partially worried that Derek didn't bring him up at all. Angie offers to talk to Derek again but Jesse is afraid the cop will become suspicious. Angie leaves to meet Joe at the hospital. Jesse kisses her goodbye as someone approaches the cabin! Jesse grabs a bat and nearly beans Tad! Angie leaves. Tad stays behind to show Jesse the information he has found so far. Jesse is excited at what Tad has turned up but also wants more. Tad tells Jesse to stop thinking like a man on the run and start thinking like the cop he is.
At the hospital, Joe is meeting with Frankie, who has just been re-accepted into the internship program at PVH! Joe tells Frankie how proud he is, grabs the application and then leaves. Frankie runs into Colby, who recognizes him from the stories in the newspaper. They chat for a bit and then officially introduce themselves.
Down the hall, Joe greets Angie and welcomes her back to the hospital. He also mentions Frankie joining the internship program, surprising Angie. She continues on and runs into Frankie. She tells him not to take the internship! Frankie says it is a good way for him to investigate Jesse's death. Angie begs Frankie to reconsider and to make her happy, he says he won't take the internship. He returns to the library, where Colby is still hanging around. She asks if she can help with whatever is bothering him and Frankie sarcastically says the daughter of Adam Chandler doesn't understand problems. He walks off. Colby calls him a jerk. Frankie is in the park making a call. He doesn't notice that someone is watching him and taking pictures from behind a tree.
Tad arrives at the hospital a short time later and tells Angie that Jesse is holding up well. She says she isn't as patient as he and Jesse are. Tad tells her not to give up hope and leaves. Angie decides to have a look at the files - and finds Jesse already there! "Great minds think alike," she says and they begin to go through some of the old filing boxes.
At Richie's pseudo-hospital, the doctors are taking JR's bone marrow while Richie gets ready for his part of the procedure. Richie tells an unconscious JR that if he'd known JR was volunteering, he wouldn't have had to kidnap him. The doctor returns to tell Richie exactly how the transplant will work. He says Richie has a great chance at a successful transplant. The goons return after a while. Richie tells them to get rid of JR after his part in the transplant is done! The doctor finishes with JR, who is still unconscious, and the goons put him in a body bag before taking him away. Richie falls asleep and dreams Babe is there, in a dominatrix outfit. She says he is the only man for her and she is glad he got rid of JR! Then, she kisses him!
Krystal is having at drink at conFusion with Babe, who is worried because JR still hasn't called her back. Krystal suggests that she call the hospital to check in. Babe calls but the hospital says JR never stopped in! She believes he never intended to be the donor. Babe tells Krystal about the bet and says she fell in love with JR again! Krystal says Babe fell into lust, not love and when Babe keeps up her JR-wronged-me act, Krystal advises her that something else may be going on. She wonders if something could have happened to JR on the way to the hospital. She points out how JR has changed in the last few weeks but Babe refuses to believe in him. A strange man calls Babe "Mrs. JR Chandler" and then quickly hangs up. Babe tells Krystal they have to leave - now! They arrive at a hotel room and Krystal knocks on the door. No one answers but they go inside anyway.
