Zach pulls out Annie's anger. Greenlee makes Ryan face the past. Kendall and Aidan argue. Jesse and Angie have another near-miss!
At the hospital, Angie notices the date: February 8 - Jesse's birthday! She flashes back to their last moments together. Joe brings her back to the present. He asks Angie if she'll come back to the hospital full-time; Angie says she can't. She goes to see Frankie, who asks about Jesse. They talk about Jesse's birthday and a few celebrations they had before he died. Frankie tells her about his vision. Angie says she wishes she could see him again, too. Frankie asks her to take him for a walk and she agrees.

Dr. Nick is working the ER when the medics bring Jesse in. He wakes but is disoriented; the medics try to search his pockets for ID but Jesse lunges away from them. He falls to the floor! The doctors help him up; Jesse says he only has a headache. Dr. Nick says he has to stay in the hospital for a consult - with Dr. Martin! Jesse is taken to a private room. As he is waiting for the doctor to return, Angie and Frankie walk through the waiting area and he hears them talking! He slips from his room into a storage area where he can hide. Inside, he grabs some medical supplies for his head; Julia walks in! He says he was just a little lost and visiting family. She asks for his name but he hurries away. Jesse goes to the cemetery and runs his fingers over his tombstone. He cries for the time he has lost. He brings out the family portrait, talking to Angie. "I never stopped loving you," he whispers and kisses the picture, crying some more.
Angie returns to the main desk to fill out some forms and papers. Joe tells her to go home. She can't face an empty hotel room on Jesse's birthday. Joe suggests that she go to the cemetery to visit Jesse! She looks at the locket. Julia approaches and says Frankie is doing well. Angie decides to go to the cemetery.

Zach invites Annie into his house so they can talk. She says she hoped Ryan would be here with Kendall. She asks about Spike and comments that Ryan doesn't even remember his son. Annie gets quiet; Zach pours some ale and they have a drink. Zach grabs a pillow and hits Annie with it; she is startled. He makes her fight back; it takes a while but she does. She hits the pillow and pushes him, saying, "When is it all going to end?" Calmer, she wonders what will happen now. Zach keeps encouraging her. He asks about Richie; Annie says Emma is the only remaining chance for a transplant but she can't let her daughter go through that. Feeling better, she decides to go after Ryan.

Ryan arrives at Greenlee's room with food from BJ's. He talks about Kendall and Greenlee realizes just how lost Ryan is. She asks what he does remember but all he can remember is Kendall; he asks what happened between them all. Greens tells him that she was really in love with him but he wasn't as in love with her. Ryan apologizes for hurting her in the past, making Greenlee cry. She says she wasn't an innocent victim - ever - and tells him about wrecking his wedding to Annie. Ryan says he just doesn't remember Annie; Greens tells him to stop living in the past - even though it seems like his present - and to give Annie a chance.
On the plane Kendall tells Aidan it doesn't look right that he is there; he says he's on a case, that she is overreacting and needs to calm down. Aidan starts talking about their night together but Kendall is afraid someone will overhear and shuts him up. She says she won't lose Zach because of him! She turns to her book and begins reading, saying that way she doesn't have to talk to him. Aidan rolls his eyes. Kendall says she can't live with the lie; he says she'll only hurt people if she tells. Kendall gets sick and hurries to the bathroom. Aidan is worried but Kendall says she just has a bug. Aidan leaves their seat but drops his phone. Greenlee calls! She asks why Kendall is answering Aidan's phone!
