Jesse's In Trouble Thursday, February 07 2008

Zach and Kendall talk about Ryan; Annie tries to help Ryan with his memory. Greenlee asks Angie about Jesse; Frankie questions Tad about his new client. Jesse gets in trouble with a young couple.

Ryan barges into the bedroom and becomes very uncomfortable when he sees Annie there, in her underwear. Ryan hurries out of the room. Annie follows him into the main room as soon as she is dressed. She says he just needs to spend more time with her. Ryan says that won't work because he doesn't have any feelings at all for her! Annie tells Ryan a little about Terry, which only proves to Ryan that he needs to be far, far away from Annie so that she isn't hurt again. She says she'll wait for him. "What if that day never comes?" he asks. Annie brings out more photos but nothing sparks his memory. She asks him to have faith but 2004-Ryan doesn't have the kind of hope that 2008-Ryan does. Annie decides to make him fall in love with her again, grabs his sweater and undresses him! Annie pushes Ryan, shirtless, back onto the terrace, telling him about that night a few weeks ago. She asks him to close his eyes and then kisses him. Ryan says Annie is very desirable but he still doesn't know - or love! - her. He leaves the apartment.

Alone in a motel room, Jesse is staring at the family portrait. He begs Angie to forgive him for the things he has done and then kisses the photo. "Goodbye," he says! Jesse flashes back to the past; he was being beaten up by thugs and threatened! Jesse returns to the present and says he won't put his family in that kind of danger.

At home, Kendall and Zach are talking about Ryan, mostly because Kendall can't stop talking about him. Zach tries to distract her with some lovemaking and breakfast but Kendall won't drop the Ryan subject. She says she can't just ignore her old friend because he is completely lost. Zach asks about the rooftop rendezvous; Kendall says they just talked. Zach makes a half-hearted joke about locking Kendall up until Ryan has his memory back. They get ready for work. Kendall says she feels much better since their talk. Zach kisses her. "This is the good stuff," she says. Kendall leaves. A while later Annie arrives, very upset, and tells Zach she is very definitely not okay.

Tad arrives at Frankie's room, where Angie is checking on him. Frankie is doing very well so Tad asks how Angie is doing. She says she is fine but in the next breath asks who Tad was talking to in the car the night before. Tad clams up. Frankie notices that the family portrait is gone and wonders where it is. Angie says they'll find it and then Tad surprises both by asking for some pictures of Jesse before he died! He says he's reopened an old case that has similarities to Jesse's murder; Frankie has a lot of questions but Tad won't answer. Frankie gets Angie to agree to give him a wheelchair so he and Tad can wander the hospital. While Angie is distracted with a phone call, Frankie tells Tad he has questions about his father. Tad is called away to the phone, too! It's Jesse; he makes Tad promise to keep his secret and hangs up. Angie comes over, says Frankie's wheelchair is on the way and walks off. Tad is wheeling Frankie around the hospital when he asks about Jesse. They pick a quiet spot and Tad tells Frankie a little about Jesse. Opal interrupts them. She chatters about Angie and then she starts in on the Romeo and Juliet qualities that Jesse and Angie had. Frankie is very intrigued by the stories. Opal asks about Jenny, offers her babysitting services and then continues on her way. "You've just been Opalized," Tad says. Frankie brings up Jesse. "I could smell his aftershave, his cologne," Frankie says, asking if there is any chance that Jesse is still alive. Tad reminds him that Jesse died in Angie's arms. Frankie says he knows Tad's new case is somehow related to Jesse! Tad begins pushing Frankie back to his room and runs into Opal as his phone rings. Opal takes over wheelchair duties and Tad answers the phone. His contacts don’t have much news about Jesse, which has Tad very worried.

Aidan and Greens wake in her hospital room. He says how much he loves her and then kisses her passionately. Greens says she wants to take a trip around the world, visiting all kinds of places with him. Then says they can open their own investigation firm when they eventually return to Pine Valley. Aidan says he might want to take a break from investigating. As they talk, Greenlee asks Aidan if he's been with anyone else since they started dating. He flashes back to his night with Kendall but says no and then kisses her. Angie comes in and tells Greenlee that she is making good progress. Aidan makes himself scarce. Greens asks Angie more about her past and what happened after Jesse. Angie talks about her second marriage but says no one has touched her like Jesse did. Aidan returns to Greenlee's room and Tad is only a few steps behind. He asks Aidan to go to Chicago to check out one lead: a man on death row! Greens tells Aidan to go. Tad and Aidan leave to make plans. Angie returns to take more of Greenlee's vitals. Greens asks about Angie's locket; it holds a picture of Jesse. Angie shows Greens and tells her more about Jesse. In the park, Ryan tries to call Kendall but she doesn't answer. Greens calls Ryan to invite him to lunch. He's in the park, with nothing better to do, so he accepts.

Kendall is waiting for her flight to New York to take off, but the flight attendant says they are waiting for one more passenger. Aidan arrives! "What are you doing on my flight?" he asks. Kendall is just as surprised to see him!

Jesse is about to leave the motel when a woman screams and begins knocking on his door, asking for help. Jesse opens the door and a bruised and battered woman rushes inside. A man bangs on the door next and instead of staying away, the woman opens it, saying she has protection! A Latino man hurries inside but Jesse gets between him and the girl. He pulls a knife and threatens Jesse! When the man lunges, Jesse takes him out with a kick! The girl rushes to the tough guy's side and Jesse tells her to stay away from him. He turns away and the tough guy knocks him out with a fire extinguisher! The man runs off but the woman stays behind, trying to get Jesse to wake up. She calls 9-1-1 and asks for an ambulance. The operator questions her; she gets nervous and tosses the phone away. Then she grabs Jesse's wallet and runs! The medics arrive but Jesse is still unconscious. They call PVH with his vitals and say they are on the way. Angie overhears the trauma call!
