Erica and Adam play "Let's Make A Deal"; JR gives little A the bugged ring! Richie may have a donor match. Annie catches Ryan and Kendall in an embrace.
Erica is having dinner alone at the Valley Inn, talking with her assistant on the phone. She updates him on Greenlee and then asks Val to contact her accountant to find a new place to live. Across the room Adam is sitting alone and eavesdropping on JR and Babe, who are at The Comeback. The longer he listens, the more upset he becomes. Erica sees him and makes a point to stop by his table. She asks what he is up to this time! Adam says he is dictating a letter but Erica doesn't believe him and sits right down to ask about Krystal! Adam insists that things are over between them but Erica doesn't believe him. She asks about the riverfront condos Adam is selling, names a price and he sells one to her. Adam grabs the listening device but it isn't working! Adam returns to the mansion, trying to figure out why the device isn't working. He gets a call about JR and begins to laugh.
Erica returns to her table and calls Val with information on the new condo. Val calls back a few minutes later with bad news: Erica's account has been frozen by the IRS!
JR has a table for two at The Comeback and is planning a sleepover with little A at the mansion. Babe has doubts about it but finally gives in. Krystal brings little A to the bar and Babe hauls him to a table. Krystal asks about Kate. JR says Adam keeps popping up when he begins looking and she wonders if he has caught on to the real reason JR moved home. Babe brings little A back to JR. Krystal spots a dreamy look on Babe's face as she watches JR and little A and asks if she is considering another chance with JR - or Richie! She pulls a picture of Richie from Babe's bag. Babe insists Richie only needs a break. "He's trying to do the right thing and be a better person," Babe says. Krystal realizes that Babe doesn't see romance with Richie - she sees a male version of herself. Back at the bar, JR gives little A Adam's ring. Little A plays with the ring for a while and drops it into a hole in the bar! Krystal looks but can't find it. Babe suggests JR have another ring made and not tell Adam; JR loves the idea! Krystal continues looking and one of the liquid cases under the counter blows up.
Annie drops a few things from her purse at the hospital. Richie has just gotten copies of his medical records and offers to help; Annie tells him to get away from her. Joe walks up with information on doctors who specialize in memory loss. He leaves. Richie asks Annie what is going on and she tells him. Rather than joking, Richie tells Annie how sorry he is. She doesn't believe him. Richie says he is leaving for Mexico for a new drug that could work for him. Annie wishes they could be a real family with real feelings and no secrets. She knows that can't happen and leaves. Richie goes back over his medical file. As he is leaving, a nurse catches him and asks him to talk to Joe before he leaves. He stops by and learns that Joe has found a donor for Richie - from Pine Valley!
On the Fusion roof, Kendall asks Ryan why he is there. He doesn't know. Kendall is very nervous around him; Ryan picks up on the emotion and asks if she is afraid of him. Kendall assures him she isn't afraid and then hugs him. Kendall gets cold so Ryan gives her his coat. They sit. Kendall asks what she can do for him and Ryan says he wants it to be 2004 again so that they are engaged. He flashes back to meeting Kendall, a few spontaneous dates and kisses. He asks what changed with them. "Eventually I pushed you right into Greenlee's arms," she says. Ryan asks about Zach next, which brings them back to Annie. He quickly turns the conversation back to Zach. Kendall says Zach and Annie are a lot alike - strong, loyal and fun. She brings up Spike and Emma and Ryan is thrown for another loop. "Spike is our son," she says. She shows him a picture and tells him a little about Spike, including his deafness and the surgery to restore his hearing. Ryan stares at the photo. Kendall says she'll stand by him no matter how long it takes. Ryan says he doesn't want her promises - he wants her love!
Annie arrives at conFusion and finds the book launch is over. Amanda left her a note that the party was a hit. She can't stop thinking of Ryan and goes to the roof. She sees Kendall and Ryan hugging! Kendall pulls back. Ryan asks if he can keep the picture and she gives it to him before leaving. He tries to explain why he is there but Annie says it doesn't matter because she knows he loves her and that he will remember her - someday!
Zach and Greenlee are focused on Ryan, wondering what is going on with him and how he will react around Kendall from now on. Zach changes the subject. He brings up Kendall's belief in karma, and says he is beginning to buy into the theory but doesn't know how to make things right. Greenlee makes jokes about his new Eastern philosophy. Then she tells Zach more about the history between Greens, Kendall and Ryan. She talks about the cons they ran, the beginning of Fusion and Kendall locking her in the tower. Zach and Greenlee wonder how all of this is affecting Kendall. Kendall returns and tells them about meeting Ryan on the roof.
