All My Children - DAILY UPDATES

At the hospital, Annie tells Ryan that she was compelled to help Richie because they have worked things out. Ryan can't believe it. Richie tells him to just chill out and Ryan goes after him! A security guard comes in and drags Ryan off of Richie as Annie says it was her decision and Richie didn't make her do anything. Ryan sits down heavily in a chair and apologizes to Richie. The guard asks Richie if he wants to press charges and Richie says no. The hospital workers leave; Richie backs away when Ryan approaches him. Annie promises to keep him in the loop and he leaves. Turning to Ryan, Annie says, "You're going back to the doctors because something is obviously wrong." Annie says Ryan is making too many changes too quickly and that he is becoming irrational. Ryan says he isn't but when Annie pushes he agrees to see Joe soon. Ryan and Annie go to the park and she shows him Richie's confession. That relieves Ryan a bit; he goes after drinks and hot dogs and Annie calls the hospital to leave a message for Joe!

Babe walks into conFusion and sees Amanda. They are both headed to the same barstool and decide, reluctantly, to sit together. Babe pulls out some files for the Campbell's fashion show but Amanda doesn't want to talk about work. She tells Babe that she just wanted to get even with Adam - and JR - and asks Babe to understand that. They talk about Amanda's new lifestyle and Amanda tells Babe about the things she has been buying. They bond a little over Amanda's bamboozling of Adam; Amanda tells Babe that she is also making sure Janet is taken care of. The bartender takes their drink orders; the girls call a truce. As they chat Richie walks in. Amanda leaves so they can be alone; Richie asks Babe if she'll have dinner with him. She refuses at first but Richie plays on her sympathies, telling her that Annie just got tested and he really doesn't want to be alone while he waits for news. She agrees to have dinner with him. They sit down and talk; Richie tells Babe that he couldn't answer Annie's question about what he planned to do with his life because he really doesn't know. "That's almost scarier than dying," he says.

At the farm Angie tells Zach and Aidan that Sylvester also had other symptoms - like organ failure. Aidan tries to call Greenlee but doesn't get an answer.

At Fusion the medics arrive and get to work on Greenlee. They discover an airway obstruction that they can't get rid of, put an oxygen mask on her and hurry away. Kendall finally answers Greenlee's ringing phone and tells Aidan about Greenlee's breathing troubles. She tells him to meet them at the hospital.

Zach, Aidan and Angie are waiting when the medics wheel Greenlee in. Julia hurries into the room, too. Kendall repeats, "She has to be fine," over and over and Zach drags her from the room. He tells Kendall she has to have a blood test because of the time she spent in the woods. She agrees to the test. She and Zach are walking back when he remembers the root; he leaves to check something else out. Kendall returns and Angie tells her that Greenlee is stabilized for now. Angie continues on to Julia who shows her Sylvester's files. Angie asks about the CDC and learns that they haven't returned the hospital's calls yet. Angie returns to Greenlee. Joe walks up and Julia tells him that the CDC is still not on their way. Kendall asks if she can do anything and Joe tells her to get Jack to the hospital quickly. Kendall goes off. Joe then turns to Aidan and tells him that the hospital is going to need blood - and lots of it - if Greenlee's and Frankie's conditions don't improve. Kendall tries calling Jack several times but he doesn't answer his phone.

Erica and Jack meet at the Yacht Club for dinner; she asks him to come back on the show with her but Jack declines. Instead he gives her a paper and says they have something to take care of. Jack tells Erica that buying hundreds of pieces of stock just before the company sold looks very bad; she promises to call her investment broker, Warren, the next day. Jack says that isn't enough. He tries to make Erica see how much trouble she is in but Erica refuses to listen. Instead, she asks Jack just what is going on between him and Julia! Jack says there is nothing going on with Julia and that they are just friends but Erica refuses to believe him. Erica admits she isn't seeing anyone seriously either. The waiter clears the table and Jack shuts off his cell phone. After dinner, Jack offers to drive Erica home but she turns him down. He kisses her! Erica walks quickly away and Jack is left to think about the hot kiss. He picks up his phone and listens to Kendall's message. He hurries to the hospital.

Aidan stays with Greenlee. "I'm not ready to leave you yet," she says as Kendall listens. Angie walks in and Aidan leaves. She sits with Greenlee for a while, telling her she will be fine. Greenlee doesn't believe Angie.

Joe is finishing up with Frankie at the hospital; Joe tells him he is doing much better. Opal walks in to see him and Joe leaves. She talks to Frankie about Jesse and promises that Angie will fix him right up. Opal shows Frankie a picture of Jesse and Angie and then leaves. Zach walks in and introduces himself to Frankie. He thanks Frankie for pulling him out of the hole and then shows him the rootball. Frankie recognizes it! He says he dug it up for water and then cut some up for a stew. Zach hurries away to find Angie. Angie walks in Frankie's room, missing Zach by moments, and sits with him for a while. They talk about Jesse; Angie promises Frankie that he won't die and leaves. Zach finds her in the hall and tells her about the root. Angie calls the testing lab; she and Zach hurry to the research area.

Aidan returns to Greenlee's room; he has Alphonso with him. She smiles. Kendall is watching them when Zach and Angie hurry by. They tell her that the root, called Tannis Root, is very toxic and probably is the reason for the illnesses. Angie has the research staff working on antibodies to give both Frankie and Greenlee.

Frankie is sleeping in his hospital room when Jesse walks into the room! He lays his shaking hand on Frankie's leg and tries to hold back tears.
