Julia finds Greenlee at Fusion just as Greenlee's throat closes up. Zach finds a familiar root in the woods; Aidan learns Sylvester is dead. JR moves in to the mansion. Tad and Krystal talk about Adam and JR.
Julia runs into Zach at the hospital and learns his blood work received a clean bill of health. He has none of the issues that Frankie and Greenlee are showing. Julia hurries off to find Greenlee, who the staff has realized is missing-in-action, but Zach follows and begins asking questions about the new doctor. Julia tells him about Angie and says she has gone to the woods. She leaves and so does Zach.
At Fusion, Kendall angrily asks Greenlee where she gets off sending the book to an editor without permission. Greenlee starts to laugh at Kendall's overreaction. Seeing just how outrageous she is being, Kendall laughs, too. Greenlee pours them each a margarita to celebrate Kendall's new profession. They begin brainstorming new Fusion/Charm product lines. They talk about the time in the bomb shelter and Kendall learns about the snake and the root-water. Greens picks up the manuscript and reads another passage. Kendall says that writing the story was the only thing that kept her from losing it while Zach was missing. "It's pretty hot," Greenlee says and asks which character she is. Kendall won't say. Julia walks in and tells Greenlee it's time to go back to the hospital. Not thrilled about that, Greenlee tries to get Julia into the party mood. Julia isn't fooled and tells Greenlee it's time to go; she tells Kendall about the problems with Greenlee. Kendall tries to convince Greenlee to go, too, but she refuses. "I'm too young to be this sick," she says and offers Julia a margarita. Julia and Kendall both refuse and tell Greenlee to get in the car. Before leaving Greenlee offers another toast to Kendall but Julia grabs the glass before she can drink. Greenlee suddenly has an attack. She can't breathe! Julia calls for an ambulance and asks the staff to have Angie standing by.
Aidan and Angie are walking through the woods, looking at the area where the bomb shelter is and the farm house. Angie says they are running out of time to find the cure for both Frankie and Greens! Angie says when she treats one area of the infections, the illness disappears but then manifests in another area. She isn't sure how much longer Frankie's body can fight. Aidan tells her about the drug paraphernalia he found and what he knows about Sylvester. Zach arrives and offers to help them in any way he can. Aidan receives a call from an investigator. Angie and Zach introduce themselves and talk about his time in the bomb shelter. Zach focuses in on some roots peeking from under a rock. He tells Angie it looks familiar and she decides to bring it back to the hospital. Aidan returns; his investigator hasn't been able to find Sylvester. They show Aidan the root and he doesn't recognize it either. They have walked over to Frankie's campsite by now and Angie becomes very upset that her son was living alone in the woods. She goes through his things, looking for pictures or memorabilia but there is nothing there. Aidan and Zach tell her that this is normal for returning soldiers. Aidan's investigator calls back. Sylvester's dead! They continue to the farm house and Angie explains what the investigator told Aidan - that Sylvester's throat suddenly closed and before he could get help he suffocated.
JR arrives at the Chandler manse and sits down, thinking about Krystal's bargain with him. He is still reluctant but decides to go through with the plan. Adam walks in and asks what his visit is all about. JR says he misses his family and is tired of the fighting. Adam still has doubt but chooses to believe his son. "Welcome home," he says, hugging JR. Adam packs up all the booze in the house but JR tells him he doesn't have to do it. Adam says he wants to and then tells JR that the movers will have all of his things there very soon. Adam starts in about moving little A back to the mansion, too, and putting down Babe. JR angrily tells him to back off because he wants to take things slowly. Adam asks JR what kind of job he wants at Chandler. Seeing an opening, JR asks Adam how he got the company back from Zach. Adam glosses over the gory details involving Hannah and says only that he watched and waited. JR tells Adam that if their living together again is going to work they have to have 100% honesty in everything. "I need to talk to you about Tad," JR says. He tells Adam that he can't live at the manse if Adam has any plans or agendas regarding Tad. Adam angrily asks why, saying Tad doesn't matter to the Chandlers. JR says Tad matters to him, as do Jamie and Kate. "Who knows, maybe she'll turn up someday," Adam says, pretending to know nothing about the little girl. Adam goes to check on the movers. JR goes to the wall safe. He stands there for a while but decides not to open the safe.
Ryan and Josh meet at conFusion. Josh tells Ryan that he shouldn't have been surprised at Zach's reaction to the Africa plan because it was crazy. Ryan admits he could have thought it through more but insists that he just wants to change the world. Josh asks how Annie is reacting to his sudden changes and Ryan says she is taking it all in stride.
Richie stops Annie before she can leave the hospital. He signs the confession so she'll be tested for the transplant. "If you get another chance, what do you plan on doing with your life?" she asks. Richie has no idea what he'll do with his life and admits as much to Annie. She is impressed with his honesty and believes Richie may be turning a corner - from psychopath to normal adult. She walks away. Ryan calls Annie's phone, which she left behind, and Richie answers! Ryan asks what Richie is doing with Annie's phone and Richie says he and Annie are getting reacquainted!
Meanwhile, a nurse is getting Annie ready for the blood tests. Annie learns there is only a 30% chance she will be a donor match. Before the nurse can finish the tests Ryan burst in, and orders them to stop everything because Richie is a dangerous man. Annie calms him down, saying she decided to do the test on her own. Richie watches the exchange.
Tad and Krystal arrive at Memorial Park with Jenny. They are all bundled up against the cold. Tad asks Krystal about JR's condo rental, wondering why it is still filled with packed-up boxes. She says JR must have just not had time to unpack. When Tad doesn't believe that explanation Krystal suggests that JR is just trying to make Babe happy by not moving in across the courtyard. That makes more sense to Tad, who then asks Krystal what went on between she and Adam at the reception. Krystal admits that Adam tried to get her back but doesn't say anything about the Kate-deal. She tells Tad that she turned Adam down because Tad is the best man she knows. Tad goes off to watch some kids playing and Krystal calls JR and tells him to be very careful. JR tells her not to worry, that he'll find out about Kate. He tells Krystal to tell Tad that he moved out of the condo because he couldn’t resist Adam's offers any longer.
Babe arrives at the condo and finds JR's place filled with boxes. One of the movers comes in and she asks what is going on. He says JR is moving out but doesn't say where JR is moving. The mover returns and tells Babe she has to go so he can lock up the unit.
