Annie won't let Richie manipulate her. Zach and Greenlee become closer. Kendall thanks Ryan for saving her. At the reception, Adam manages to separate Krystal from the rest of the group!
In the parking garage Annie tries to turn away from Richie but he grabs her and won't let go. Annie points to a scar on his neck and says she'll do that again if he doesn't leave her alone. He changes tactics from anger and intimidation to desperation and tries to manipulate her. Annie refuses to be manipulated. Richie brings up Ryan, making Annie worry that Richie did something to her husband. He says he didn't do anything but that Ryan is crazy with a capital 'C'! Annie doesn't believe him, gets in her car and leaves.
Greenlee is giggling over Kendall's book when Zach walks off the elevator. She pours him a margarita and chats about the party. Zach gets Greenlee to admit that she is still tired and has stomach pain. He promises not to tell Aidan as long as Greenlee takes it easy. He talks about Hannah and not being able to get her out of his head. "She almost seemed at peace," Zach says and tells Greens about his nightmare. Greenlee asks him what is going to happen to them next. He doesn't know. Zach admits that he has been a bit distant with Kendall and Greenlee tells him to let Kendall see the Zach that she saw in the bomb shelter. Zach leaves for Tad and Krystal's party. Greens turns back to the book with a few ideas of her own. Greenlee leaves Aidan a message about the Valley Inn party and asks him to come along with her. She sits down and calls a friend in publishing about Kendall's manuscript.
Babe is shocked that JR leased the condo across from hers and asks if he did it to keep Richie away! JR follows Babe inside and tells her he is worried. That doesn't make Babe feel better. She slams the door in JR's face, telling him that someone has to care what happens to Richie! JR bangs on the door until Babe lets him in. He points out all of the strays she has picked up and tried to help in the past, telling her to be very careful. He asks if Richie could be lying about his diagnosis, angering Babe even more. As they argue, Tad and Krystal arrive with little A in tow and listen to them arguing. Babe and JR make nice for little A and send him to his room. Babe gives Tad and Krystal her version of the events. Krystal takes JR outside so Tad and Babe can talk inside. On the porch Krystal tells JR that leasing the condo was a huge mistake. JR tells Krystal that part of the reason he leased the condo was because of Richie's unannounced visits. Krystal convinces JR that, though his heart was in the right place, he could have done things differently.
Back inside the condo Babe tells Tad that JR is invading her privacy. Tad says it could still work as long as they work out some boundaries to their relationship. "Oh, like you and Momma did?" Babe asks. Tad asks Krystal and JR to come back in. Both JR and Babe apologize; Tad and Krystal ask Babe and JR to come along to the reception.
After twirling Kendall around again, a severe pain in Ryan's head makes him double over. He tells Kendall he is fine and she helps him to the sofa. He smiles and laughs, telling her it was all a joke! He apologizes for freaking her out. "What's with the guitar, Jimmy Page," she says. He reminds her of trying to write a play a couple of years ago and says it is time for something new. The conversation turns serious and Kendall says Zach is shutting her out. He says Zach just needs a little time and Kendall just needs to stand by him. Ryan starts strumming the guitar. Kendall thanks him for hearing her out and saving her life. Ryan starts playing again and Kendall tries to make him stop. Zach walks in and laughs at them both. He asks if Annie is making t-shirts for Ryan's debut! Kendall says Annie is working on a secret project for Fusion. She and Zach leave for the Valley Inn. When he is alone, Ryan sits down with his guitar. He is still playing when Annie walks in with a lot of shopping bags. Ryan asks about the party and wonders why they aren't going. Annie says they have other things to do and asks him to come with her. "We are going back in time," she says.
Erica is the first to arrive at Adam's surprise wedding shower for Tad and Krystal at the Valley Inn. Adam offers to get her a drink but Erica turns him down and begins looking for Marshall. When Marshall arrives Erica leads him to their table. Colby is next to arrive; Adam asks about Sean but Colby doesn't want to talk about it. Erica sees Adam walk back in, hurries over to him and asks him to rescue her from the horrible date. He agrees and Erica returns to Marshall. Adam calls Barry and begins to create a scene next to Erica's table. He hangs up and tells Erica that their "business deal" is imploding. Marshall is confused and Erica asks if they can postpone their date. He agrees and leaves. "I owe you," Erica says and Adam asks her to marry him again! Palmer walks in and says that will never happen again! They begin arguing. Erica tells Palmer she can handle Adam. "Watch your back," Palmer says and leaves. Erica tells Adam he must have lost his mind. Colby returns as Adam tells Erica that he is turning over a new leaf; Colby explains how Adam planned the surprise reception. Erica wonders what he is really up to. He won't admit to anything. Erica decides to leave but Adam stops her at the door. Krystal, Tad, JR and Babe arrive and Colby leads them inside. Kendall and Zach are close behind. Adam walks in last and offers a toast to the newlyweds! Krystal and Tad are not amused and ask what Adam's real motives are. Krystal stands up to leave. Zach and Kendall wonder why they were invited. Adam follows Krystal and has everyone else locked inside the dining area - so he can get some alone time with Krystal!
