Rescued!

Thursday, December 20 2007
Kendall and Aidan find Greenlee and Zach. Tad and Krystal come to an agreement thanks to Father Clarence. Adam and Erica commiserate with one another. Babe harbors Richie; Annie is freaked because Richie is free.

At the Chandler manse Krystal tells Adam she will fight - and win! - custody of Jenny. But, she says, she will do it without his help!

Meanwhile Tad is driving Jenny around and becomes lost. He stops at a chapel and Father Clarence is there. He calls Jenny by her first name which throws Tad for a loop. Father Clarence invites Tad and Jenny inside; he and Tad talk about the Christmas of 2006. Tad says things are looking better this year because of Jenny. Father Clarence holds Jenny and she begins to fall asleep. He places her in the manger he was getting ready for a Christmas service. He picks up a gavel and, as Krystal walks in, calls the Martin vs. Carey issue to court! Krystal is surprised to see them there and explains she had a little car trouble. Then she becomes mad at Tad because he took Jenny out on a night like tonight. They bicker and Father Clarence holds up the gavel, telling them both to be quiet! He makes Tad be quiet and asks Krystal how she feels about Jenny. Krystal thinks for a long time and then brings up Babe and her first go-round as a mom. She says she feels the same way about Jenny. Jenny becomes fussy and Tad gives her the pacifier but she won't take it. "She did the same thing to me," Tad says. Finally both of them realize that they are in the same boat - in love with a little girl named Jenny. Father Clarence tells them he doesn't see what their problem is because they both want the best for the little one. Krystal tells Tad she doesn't want to take Jenny away from him and he says the same thing to her! While they are distracted with one another Father Clarence disappears. Tad tells Krystal to give him the custody papers so that they can get rid of them. Krystal, instead, pulls another sheaf of papers from her purse and wonders how they got there instead of the custody papers.

Erica arrives at Adam's as Krystal is leaving; Krystal nearly runs her down she is in such a hurry to get away from the mansion. Put out that Krystal was there and more annoyed that her car now won't start Erica calls a limo service to pick her up. The service puts her on hold, which annoys Erica even more. With a more or less captive audience Adam makes Erica listen to his version of the events surrounding Tad and Krystal. Erica cannot get through to the limo company and she turns her annoyance on Adam. She brings up JR and Zach; Adam insists he has proof that JR is innocent but he won't tell anyone until the time is right. Erica tells him that there could be evidence that would point to Zach's and Greenlee's whereabouts but Adam doesn't care. They argue a bit more and finally Adam asks about Jack. He tells Erica not to strike out at other people because of Jack; and then tells her to go win him back. Finally Erica's limo arrives and she leaves. Adam tries to reach Krystal but she doesn't answer. From the terrace, Father Clarence is watching him.

At the Slater home Ryan tells Annie that Richie is on the loose. He starts to call their guards and a private investigator so they can find Richie; Annie tells Ryan not to. She tells him she wants Richie to come for her so she can kill him! Ryan tells her to let the police handle things but Annie won't listen and she insists that killing Richie is the only way they will ever be free of him. Ryan calms Annie down and they sit together. Annie is certain that she will be forced to kill her brother. Ryan finally makes her realize that killing Richie isn't the answer. Emma comes out to tell them Ian is awake. While Annie holds Ian Ryan reads Emma and Spike "The Night Before Christmas".

At Babe's, she refuses to put Richie up for a few days. She tells him she is tired of his games and Annie's games. Richie turns away, fakes an attack of some sort and falls to the ground. Babe helps him inside. She tells him to give her some straight answers or she'll call the hospital and have him put away again. Richie puts on his "I'm the victim" face and reminds Babe that Annie had him imprisoned on false charges. Babe doesn't buy his half-truths this time, though, and tells him maybe he should just move on. Richie says he can't leave because of Babe! She tells him not to get attached to her and then tells him to go get cleaned up. When she is alone, Babe wonders if she is making a big mistake. When Richie returns from the bath, Ryan arrives!

Aidan looks at the plans in the cylinder, matches them up to the maps on the wall and realizes Greenlee and Zach may be there. He and Kendall head to the area to search. They get to the area and begin to move leaves and other debris that are covering the entrance. "This has to be it, this had to be it," she says. They move the door and holler down but no one answers them. Aidan points his flashlight in the hole and sees Greenlee and Zach, unconscious, on the floor. Aidan believes they are dead and pulls Kendall away from the entrance. They return to the house and Kendall tries to call for help but their phones are out. Quentin walks in. They return to the hole and with Quentin's help lower Aidan down to Greenlee and Zach. Once at the bottom Aidan checks them both but can't find a pulse for either of them! Aidan checks Zach more closely and finds a pulse. Because Greenlee is in worse shape they bring her up first; Aidan starts CPR on her when they get her to the surface. Kendall turns to Quentin and orders him to lower her down to Zach. Aidan continues working on Greens and she finally begins breathing on her own again. Quentin tells Aidan they have to get down to Kendall quickly. In the hole Kendall holds on to Zach and promises him that they will be fine. As she talks, part of the wall collapses!
