The love of Jonathan and Jackson reach Lily, and she emerges from her coma. Ryan finds evidence to exonerate Jonathan. The attraction between Babe and Josh burns brightly.
At the police station, a shaken Julia tells Ryan he took Zach down "like a wild animal." I felt all of that hate directed at me."
Di thanks her for sharing Ryan; but Julia says that he's not hers to share.
Pennsylvania and New York state prosecutors are gathered in Derek's office, fighting about the logistics of Terry's shooting and who has jurisdiction. Derek demands they prove McDermott was a "perv". Jackson blows up at all of them, and asks for Ryan's trust, saying he needs it to defend Ryan.
Jonathan is in the hospital room with Lily—"your dad asked me come and helped me out of a tough spot. You're safe—it's safe to come back. Terry's dead—the problem is solved—you are safe."
Kendall and Erica observe, and Kendall wonders what it'd be like to be loved the way Jon loves Lily. Lily remains unresponsive. Kendall tells Jonathan that she understands and that he's the only one who can reach Lily. "What you have is beautiful."
After Jonathan leaves, Kendall tells Lily she brought her herlucky dollar—"it's yours Lily, just like Jonathan."
Babe and Josh are back at the Fusion offices. She tells him that they have to work, despite everything that's happening. Josh thanks Babe for helping him and asks her to let him help her to through the search for Colby and all the upheavals in the Chandler family. They embrace and Julia witnesses their hug and gives them a look.
Babe hurts her hand, it bleeds and he's deeply concerned. Julia taunts him with "Babe is really the center of your universe." "Yeah, so what?" he replies. They are shown working onlayouts, trying to ignore the chemistry and attraction between them.
Back at the hospital, Dr Jeff talks to Erica about Lily. She's worried that Lily's not responding to Jonathan. He tells her she was always a star, but he had blinders on. Erica explains that she wants Josh to know that he's one of the good things in her life.
Back at the police station, Ryan presents McDermott's laptop to Derek and Jackson, saying this will answer all the questions. Derek boots it and finds emails to a "my sweet Torie," and "Lily, I want to meet but I'm scared…I feel safe. Signed, Aspberger's." Lily's photo is on his computer.
Jackson threatens Derek and the prosecutors to go public with all the info he knows if the prosecution of Jonathan and Addie McDermott continues. "What good will prosecuting these two do?" He tells them that Jonathan is at the hospital at that very moment, trying to reach Lily.
Jackson comes in and tells her that they are all safe, and Jonathan won't have to stand trial. Lily begins to hallucinate about being taunted by mean girls and McDermott. "Everything is going red…," she cries in her dream. Then she sees Jackson in her dream and wakes up, asking for "Daddy." She pushes Jonathan away, saying "not him". He leaves, telling Jackson he'll never bother her again. Erica tells Jackson now that Lily is fine, she'll talk to him later.
Back at the office, Julia confronts Babe and reminds her of the conversation they had about guys who hurt them. She says they can't forgive those men, since that would give them permission to hurt them again. Julia says: "I'm telling you to get it together. Stop being stupid—get a clue."
Simone and Danielle join in and all discuss the problems of choosing the "bad boy" instead of the man who really loves them, and why women do that. Is it a desire to be hurt? Simone says how much she regrets losing her fiancé Ethan, and hopes to someday find a man half as good as him.
Ryan approaches Julia on the roof and says that the stars are aligned, as she gazes at him. He asks her for time and she says "it's yours."
Alone in the office, Babe and Josh are laughing at their success with the project. Then her tone turns serious, and she tells him that after their project is over, she has to let him go.
