Greenlee has to clean up Zach's wounds. Kendall confronts JR, who swears he is innocent. Annie invites Richie to Thanksgiving dinner. Colby gets Tad and Adam together.
At the penthouse, Ryan asks Richie what he did to Tommy. Richie plays dumb, aggravating Ryan. He asks about the email hacking but Richie only suggests they get a better firewall. Ryan orders him out of the house. When they are alone, Annie tells Ryan she believes Richie is really changing. Ryan can't believe her and says it's all part of the act. Annie tells him how Richie reacting and talked about Babe. That gives Ryan an idea: he thinks they should use Babe to get to Richie and says they should invite both to Thanksgiving dinner! Annie doesn't want to do it but Ryan convinces her.
At The Comeback, Colby is setting her plan in motion. When Tad and Adam arrive she asks them both to attend a family Thanksgiving dinner! They can't believe what she is asking and tell her so. Colby says if they care for her - and Krystal! - at all they will make the best of the day and all spend it together. Tad and Adam sit down to talk with her and agree to a truce for a day. Adam invites them all to the Chandler manse but Tad vetoes that. They play a game of darts to determine where the meal will take place. Adam makes a remark that this will be the first step in his reconciliation with Tad; Tad gets mad. Colby stops the argument and tells them it's a tie and they both win! She tells them to grow up and stop making everyone miserable. Telling them she loves them both, Colby tells them Thanksgiving dinner will be at The Comeback and they both better be there. She lays down another ground rule - no fighting. Adam agrees.
Richie arrives at the bar a while later and heads straight for Babe. She asks where he went so suddenly but Richie skirts her questions, saying instead that he is sorry he had to leave so quickly. Babe begins to talk about their relationship, wondering where it might be going. She brings up her past, saying she understands why he is fighting to turn his life around, too. Richie says it doesn't matter - old Babe, new Babe - he likes all of her! "You truly are amazing," he says and kisses her! Babe returns to work. Annie calls Richie, tells him that Ryan is willing to try to make amends. She invites him to their house for Thanksgiving and tells him to bring Babe along. Richie agrees. Richie heads over to Babe and asks her to come along to the Lavery's. She tells him she can't because of her plans with Krystal and little A. Richie is disappointed and says she can bring little A along if she'd like. "I don't think I'll be welcome without you," he says. Babe agrees. She returns to work. Richie wonders if the invitation is really a peace offering. A news report comes on and Richie realizes the man he hit on the road was Zach Slater and he could still be alive. He leaves the bar. "You were supposed to be dead," he whispers.
After talking to Richie, Annie tells Ryan she thinks he bought it. Both hope this works.
JR is on his yacht, trying in vain to remember anything that has happened that would have left blood on his seat. His mind is a blank. Kendall walks in and demands to know what he did to Zach. JR has no clue what she is talking about. She shows him the picture, tells him about Zach's accident and demands to know what happened. JR says he doesn't know but he didn't run Zach down; Kendall doesn't believe him and keeps pushing. Finally she says if he doesn't come clean she'll go straight to Derek. Finally JR tells her he can't remember anything from the night before! He apologizes but that only makes Kendall more angry. She throws JR's coat at him and pushes him out the door. They are going to the crash site together!
In the bomb shelter, Zach and Greenlee both regain consciousness and begin to slowly move around. They make it to their feet and rummage around. Greenlee finds a flashlight and once it is on they realize they are in a stocked bomb shelter. Zach finds a stairwell but the steps are rotted through. He says no one has probably been there since the 60's; Greenlee says no one will find them. Greens realizes Zach's head wound is still bleeding badly but he keeps looking for a way out. She finds a musty old first aid kit, drops it and gets it open. Zach kneels beside her and she doctors the head laceration. They find a bottle of liquor and Zach takes a swig. With his head upturned, he sees another set of stairs. The hole to get to the stairs is too high to reach and Greenlee starts to freak out about dying in a hole. Zach calms her down. Greenlee looks at his head again and realizes the cut is still bleeding really badly. "We've got to stop the bleeding. . .or I'm in here with a corpse," she says. Zach tells her head wounds always bleed a lot and it doesn't mean anything but Greenlee is really worried. She goes through the first aid kit and finds a kit to sew up the wound. Greens doesn't want to but she begins to sew after Zach takes a few more drinks of the alcohol. She downs a shot, too. "This may sting a bit," she says. She realizes his hand is in worse shape than his head and focuses on that. Greenlee pulls a long scrap of wood from his palm and Zach screams in pain.
At the crash site, emergency workers are crawling all over the place looking for Zach's body. Kendall and JR arrive. He looks around and swears he has never been in this area. The whole thing is a blank for him. She points to the blood on the pavement, blaming him. JR insists that he was never there. "I am sure I had nothing to do with Zach's accident," he says! Kendall finally realizes that JR really doesn't have any memories of the night; she feels more alone than ever. Derek comes over and Kendall asks if they have found anything. There is nothing new. She gives Derek the picture she found and tells him JR was drunk and had a blackout. She tells Derek to arrest JR but Derek can't because she tampered with the evidence - by removing it from under the tire. She tells him to search JR's car then.
JR walks away from Kendall, calls a friend and asks him to make his car disappear from the long-term parking area at the airport!
