Zach is hit by a car! Thursday, November 15 2007

Zach is run over; Kendall worries where Zach might be. The cops close in on Aidan and Greens. Julia breaks up a fight with JR and Jack.

JR walks in to the bar, heads straight to the bartender who pours him a stiff drink. Before JR can take a sip Jack walks up, grabs him and asks why he is messing with Greenlee! Jack calls him a go-between and starts to take a swing but Julia stops him! She separates them and asks Jack what is really going on. He tells her about the embryo plot; Julia realizes just why Greenlee was at the hospital a few days before. Derek walks in and tells Jack they have a led on Aidan and Greenlee; he wants Jack to stay away but Jack demands to tag along. He and Derek leave.

Ava and Jonathan arrive at The Comeback for an evening alone. He's only just returned from a London business trip. As they talk, Jonathan gets a call that sets him on edge. He tells Ava he'll be back soon but there is something he needs to take care of. Ava heads to the bar, where she sees JR in another stupor. She asks how he is but JR takes the question badly and tells her to stop piling on to him. He storms out and sees Amanda outside. Angry, he asks why she doesn't just toss another drink in his lap. Just as mad, she tells him she won't stop him from drinking - she'll pour him whatever he wants! They leave together.

Zach is lost in the country, looking for Paradise Lane. He runs in to a farm wife named Kit and talks to her about the property. She tells him about the benefits of country life but isn't sure Zach would fit in. She offers to take him to the house since he's lost. Zach and the woman get back into his car; as they drive, Kit asks him about Kendall, which brings up a lot of memories for Zach. He tells her about their romance. They finally arrive and the house is everything that Zach hoped for. He returns Kit to her car and continues down the road. Not far along, he gets a flat tire!

Josh arrives at the hospital and Kendall goes straight to him, asking if he's heard from Zach. Josh hasn't. He turns the tables and asks Kendall if she really did set Greenlee up. Kendall swears she was going to stop the whole thing but the escape plan happened before she could. Josh is stunned. Kendall says she planned for everything except Zach and Erica. "Turns out all of us had a plan to take down Greenlee," she says; Josh can't believe how far each of them were willing to go and admits his involvement in Zach's plan. This makes Kendall even more eager to speak with Zach; Josh offers to try to find him for her and leaves. Inside their rooms at the hospital, Kendall is having similar memories to Zach - thinking about the past and how they fell in love. She tells Ian and Spike about their beginnings. A while later Josh returns; he hasn't found Zach yet. Kendall becomes more worried with every minute they can't find Zach. Josh tries to calm her down but Kendall is positive that Zach is either avoiding her or that he is in danger!

Greenlee and Aidan make love. She wants to disappear, get away from Pine Valley and just start over - with Aidan! He thinks it sounds great but doesn't want her to live a life on the run for a crime she didn't commit. Greenlee doesn't think it will matter if her name is cleared or not because Pine Valley will never really forgive her. Aidan decides to go out for food; Greens wants to tag along but Aidan tells her it isn't safe. She stays behind and before leaving, Aidan hands Alfonso (the stuffed tiger he gave her after the accident) to her to keep her company. Aidan returns very quickly and tells Greens they have to leave - right away! - because the guy at the store may have recognized him. Before they can both get away, Aidan realizes they can't leave together. He sends Greenlee out the back and tells her he'll meet up with her later. She doesn't want to go alone but he makes her. Once Greenlee is gone, he goes to the door and watches the cops who are watching the house! Derek and Jack walk in with several officers. Aidan tells him that Greenlee isn't her but he traced her here at one point. Derek begins to search the premises, anyway.

Babe arrives at Annie and Ryan's - they're still trying to figure out how to reach Tom Brennan - and tells them they are horrible people for terrorizing Richie! Annie gets really mad when Babe continues to defend Richie against them. Ryan tells Babe she doesn't know what she is talking about. Just then Jonathan calls and tells Ryan that their computers have been hacked - and all their emails have been rerouted. Ryan is certain Richie is behind it. Babe says they can't prove that Richie is involved and storms out. Ryan finally gets the rerouted email and they realize that Tom contacted them and gave his address. Richie may have the address, too! Ryan hurries off and leaves Annie home.

Somewhere in Pine Valley, Richie is beginning to track down Tom Brennan! He winds up at The Comeback and boosts a car - it's JR's! As Richie begins driving, he is paying more attention to the maps and things he is finding in the car. When he sees a picture of Babe and little A, Richie realizes just whose car he is driving - and couldn't care less! Richie is speeding toward Tom's home. He comes around a curve and Zach is standing beside the side of the road. He doesn't slow down and hits Zach!

Outside, Greenlee is trying to get one of the bikes started but she can't do it! Frightened, she begins to run.
