Jackson asks Jonathan and Ryan for their forgiveness, and asks to defend Jonathan. Lily is still in her hospital bed, unconscious. Adam tells the police and Coast Guard to do "whatever it takes" to find Colby.
JR and Babe are at home, and JR is on the phone, yelling at police who are looking for Colby, and telling them they're not doing a good job. Colby is actually hiding in another room, unhurt. JR says Colby has caused their family too much pain, and if she's found alive, "he'll kill her himself." Babe tries to comfort him. A police officer comes to the Chandler house to investigate and says Colby ran the boat aground, and the entire "brat pack" is in hospital, and that their parents are angry at Colby and the Chandler family. He suggests to JR that Colby "lawyer up" and if she's found, she'll be arrested for resisting arrest and other things. JR and Babe rush off to find Colby.
At the police station, Jackson tells Ryan and Jonathan that his actions are "no stunt" and Jonathan saved Lily in time and she wasn't raped. Dixie tells Julia she doesn't know anything about the situation. She says she believes Zach's innocent, and calls Julia a "selfish bitch." Derek says the alibi's "bull" and asks Julia for the truth about Zach and Dixie.
Lily is in her hospital bed, being attended to by nurses. She's having scary dreams/hallucinations.
Back at the police station, Jackson admits to Ryan and Jonathan that they have no reason to believe in him and that he made a lot of mistakes, but he was wrong about Jonathan and Lily. He wants to help to undo the damage he's done. Ryan treats the offer with contempt, but Jonathan considers it. Julia declines to help Derek. Derek presses her to help—and says she may be held as an accessory. Says she can get back at Zach. Dixie visits Zach in his cell. Zach calls the people around them "rats" trying to hide their own mistakes. "Why are you here? You can't fix this. It's over." He tells Dixie to go away.
Alone in the house, Colby picks up a photo of Adam and she's sorry and hides. Sydney and Sean come into the house. He says life is unpredictable and whatever happens to Colby will happen. He's unconcerned, to Sydney's surprise.
Adam offers to pay for more copters and boats to search for Colby. The police say everything is being done. Krystal assures him she'll be found. Adam says he feels powerless and the cause of this accident, since he's spoiled Colby. Krystal says he's loved her more than any father could, and that she's "pure Chandler" and will survive. Adam says he couldn't make it without Krystal.
At the police station Ryan says they can't trust Jackson. Jackson asks for a chance to prove they're wrong. Ryan doesn't him to "gamble with his brother's life" but Jonathan asks to speak with Jackson alone.Jonathan tells Jackson "you've slammed, harassed me" and wouldn't believe that he'd change or what he and Lily had. "You made our lives miserable. How can I trust you, so that you can unload your guilt??"
Erin visits Lily in hospital and assures her of Jonathan's love…"Please come back for his sake."
Jackson asks for Jonathan's forgiveness. Jonathan says this may a second chance for all of them. Julia tries to get Ryan to go home; he refuses. Zach is getting agitated in his cell and Dixie asks him to cool down. He says "it's over" since they exposed Madden. Again he tells her to leave. She refuses, says they're watching her "24 hours a day." Zach flips out and screams at his jailers and begins to trash his cell. Derek and officers come to subdue him; he taunts Derek. He accuses Ryan of going behind his back and tells him to get a piece of him. Officer chokeholds Zach and restrains him. Zach regains consciousness and stares at Dixie, Julia, Derek and Ryan. He tells the police to get "these people out of my house." Julia walks out weeping, and is comforted by Ryan. Dixie puts her hand on Zach's shoulder; her kisses her hand. Jackson puts up bail for Jonathan, and asks him to visit Lily. "Try to get her back to us."
Back at the Chandler house, Sydney accuses Sean of hooking up with Colby. He says "so what?" Colby overhears and weeps.
JR plans to go down to the breakwater and asks Babe to go home, telling her the "rescue operation switches to recovery at noon."
At the dock, Del, on crutches, stares at a photo of Colby.
Jonathan enters Lily's hospital room, and she looks up at him.
