JR thinks he and Babe should get back together - permanently! Krystal and Tad argue about Adam. Kendall comes clean with Zach; Erica gives an interview about Greenlee. Jack and Aidan swear they will free Greens.
Tad watches Krystal with Adam for a few moments. "How stupid do you think I am?" he asks. Tad realizes that Adam has been impersonating Stuart for weeks and has been in his home. He asks if Krystal knew and she admits that she did. Krystal tries to explain that pretending to pour her heart out to Stuart was the only way she could come to terms with Adam. Tad doesn't believe her and says he'll never allow Jenny to be part of Adam's life! He walks away and Krystal chases after him, swearing that she isn't going back to Adam. Tad rants about Krystal putting her physical needs about Jenny's needs. She says she is just trying to put Adam in the past. Tad walks off. Adam holds Krystal and tells her that Tad will come around - or Adam will have his lawyers make Tad come around! He offers to help but Krystal tells him to go home. "I love you," Adam whispers and leaves.
After making love, JR and Babe both comment on how nice it was to be so close again. JR proposes! Babe can't believe it and tells JR the idea is crazy. JR admits it isn't the sanest idea he's had but he can't get over how being with Babe feels so right. Babe brings up their recent problems - her issues with Richie and his business dealings with Ava. She reminds him that they've never worked as husband and wife but she is fine with them remaining friends, close friends, with him. JR kisses her and starts to make love again. Babe pulls away and shrieks, "I'm turning in to my mother!" JR tries to calm her down but all Babe can think about is Krystal's continued love for Adam and how that is hurting her. She tells JR that they can't keep sleeping together, knowing it will lead nowhere and pretending some sort of involvement because of little A. JR agrees with her and tries convincing Babe he was kidding about the proposal. Babe isn't sure what to think. She tells him she will always love him but she has to move on with her life. She leaves the yacht. A while later Adam arrives - still dressed as Stuart - and tells JR he needs to talk about women! JR invites Adam in. They commiserate with one another, both realizing they have no one but each other.
Jack tells Erica that he knows Greenlee was set up and asks how long she has known about Kendall's plans! Erica insists that she knew nothing about a kidnapping plot and she also insists that Kendall wouldn't have set up Greens. "Greenlee is a very disturbed woman," she says and tells Jack that she wants Greenlee to have professional help! Derek walks up to them and tells Jack that Mary Smythe has signed commitment papers on Greenlee! He hands the papers to Jack who is stunned. He can't believe Mary would do that and asks where Mary is. Derek hasn't been able to find her. He shows Jack all of the evidence against Greenlee - the baby clothes, the fake passport/birth certificate and the tickets. Then he pulls out the clincher - a journal that they found on Greenlee's computer! Jack looks through the journal entries and then turns back to Erica. He asks if her newfound love for him is because she knew about Kendall's plan! He points out that there are too many coincidences - like absentee Mary signing commitment papers, Greenlee leaving the journal entries in an easy-to-find place. He tells Erica that Greenlee has moved on but Erica doesn't believe it. She tells Jack to get Greenlee some help and turns away. She returns, tells Jack that she will always love him, and then leaves. In the hall, Erica calls an interview subject and offers to give the person an interview at the police station.
Angry, Greenlee rants about Kendall and Zach. She tells Aidan to get out of jail and tell JR their deal is back on! She wants her embryos and she wants to take Zach down for stealing them from her! Aidan tries to interrupt but Greenlee just keeps talking. Finally she hears what Aidan has been trying to say - none of her embryos survived the blackout! He explains that Zach set the whole thing up, even JR's involvement! Greenlee can't believe it. Jack comes downstairs; Aidan tells him that he won't leave Greenlee alone. Jack tells them both Greenlee about all of the evidence against her. She is stunned. Aidan swears he will stand by her. Jack has Aidan released and across the room, Aidan tells Jack that Greenlee needs all the support she can get. Then he swears he'll get Greens out of jail! He leaves. Jack stays behind and has a heart to heart with Greenlee, telling her that he believes in her and is glad she stayed in Pine Valley. Jack promises to expedite her hearing so she can get out of jail quickly. He hugs her and leaves. When she is alone, Greenlee wonders how she can get out of this mess. She is heartbroken at what Kendall has done to her this time around.
Aidan returns to the squad room and begins questioning Derek about his investigative methods. Derek assures Aidan that the tech guys are going over the computer with a fine tooth comb and they'll find any Trojan horses there could be. Aidan tells Derek he is going to clear Greenlee's name!
Outside the building, Erica begins her interview with the reporter by trashing Greenlee's reputation and saying she needs help. The reporter asks about the twisted family relationships. As she talks, Jack walks out of the stationhouse and listens to her. He hears Erica say she wants to help Greenlee heal - with psychological help!
Once they arrive home, Kendall admits to Zach that she planned the whole kidnapping scheme. She starts at the beginning - with Ian's premature birth and Spike's kidnapping. She says the rage and hatred for Greenlee was born at the moment that she and Spike passed in the hospital hallway. She tells Zach about holding Ian and seeing Greenlee through the NICU window. "That's when I knew I had to go after Greenlee and I had to stop her because she was going to keep going after our family," Kendall says. He asks about the gun and Kendall tells him that the gun was part of the setup. Zach is shocked at the lengths Kendall went, mostly because she kept her plans from him. "Forget the husband and get Greenlee," Zach says sarcastically. He angrily tells Kendall that she should have told him everything from the beginning; he is worried that she'll be caught up in the mess she created for Greenlee. Kendall can't believe how angry Zach is with her and doesn't see how lying to him about her plans was a bad thing. She tells him about the conversation she overheard and that Greenlee insisted she would have Ryan's child. Zach realizes that Greenlee wasn't talking about Spike and tells her about his own plans for Greenlee. "She wanted Ryan's baby, but she wasn't going to take your son," he says. Kendall is stunned.
Babe walks in to The Comeback, sees Krystal at the bar and heads straight for her mother. She tells her about being with JR and that she is afraid she is turning in to Krystal! Krystal hugs Babe.
Tad returns home and chats with Jenny, telling her that even when she hits the teenage years and doesn't want him around he will still love her. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me," he says, thinking about Jamie and JR, Kate and Dixie and Krystal.
