It's love in the afternoon for Jack and Erica and JR and Babe! Kendall takes the next step in her plan against Greenlee. Aidan threatens Zach. Richie takes control of Ryan's plan.
Jack arrives at Erica's to find her dressed in a sexy negligee. He says one word about Greenlee and he'll leave! Erica assures him that nothing is on the table tonight except dinner and their relationship. Erica's phone interrupts them; she learns that Barry is ready to go ahead with the commitment paperwork. The mental health workers are going to pick up Greenlee later tonight! Erica hangs up and turns back to Jack who is really intrigued by the phone call. Erica makes up a story about an interview that she doesn't want to do. They toast to one another and actually manage to focus on themselves for once. Erica asks him to dance with her. As they dance, Erica tells Jack she loves him and is sorry that she doesn't tell him that often enough. Jack carries her to the bed and they make love.
Greenlee wonders what Kendall really wants and is surprised to hear Kendall say that Greenlee has helped her more than she'll ever know. Kendall begins talking about the dangers of the surgery for Spike, worried that it may not be the right thing to do. Greenlee listens. Spike hands her some cereal, which bothers Kendall. She continues talking and apologizes for Greenlee for sending mixed signals about renewing their friendship and admits she isn't sure if they can be friends any longer. Greenlee tells Kendall that she dreamed of Simone and is certain they can renew their old bonds. Greenlee begins to talk about her own hopes for the future and tells Kendall she'll be around to help out in any way that is needed. Then she asks Kendall if they can put the past in the past and just move forward. With Greenlee distracted by Spike, Kendall sends herself a fake phone call and pretends Zach has been in an accident. When she can't reach the nanny, Kendall asks Greenlee if she can watch Spike until the nanny arrives. Greenlee doesn't like the idea but gives in and promises to stay with Spike until Rachael shows up. Kendall walks out of the boathouse and calls the cops! She tells the operator that Greenlee has drugged her and kidnapped Spike! Kendall listens as Greenlee talks to Spike about the future and being in love.
Aidan confronts Zach and asks for the truth: he wants to know if there is any truth at all to the plot against Greenlee! Zach pours a drink but Aidan keeps talking, believing that there were never any embryos left. "You played Greenlee like she was a fish on the end of a line," Aidan says. Zach doesn't pay much attention and pretends not to know what Aidan is talking about. Aidan tells Zach that Kendall has nothing to fear from Greenlee but Zach doesn't believe him. Aidan keeps questioning him, asking if he is done with Greens or not. Zach says things are over as far as he is concerned. Aidan backs up and tells Zach if anything else happens to Greenlee he'll kill Zach! Reminding Aidan that he'll protect his family at any cost, Zach tells Aidan to make sure Greenlee stays on the straight and narrow. Just then he gets a call about Kendall, tells Aidan that Greenlee tried to steal Spike and runs out of the office.
Kendall places another phone call and then grabs the chloroform bottle. She puts some of the liquid on a towel and then tosses the bottle away - and knocks herself out! The police arrive and find Kendall on the ground. They wake her and she starts calling for Spike. One of the officers goes into the boathouse, gun drawn, and orders Greenlee to put Spike down! Greenlee tries to tell them that they are making a mistake but the cops won't listen. Zach arrives, stunning Greenlee who asks if he is okay. Aidan is there. The police bring Spike to Kendall who repeats over and over "You're safe again".
As the plane takes off, Richie tells Ryan that it was all a lie and he isn't sick at all. Ryan hands the blood vial over to the doctor to finish up the tests. Richie tries to convince them that the leukemia "diagnosis" was just a ploy to get Babe on his side. Neither Ryan nor Annie believes him. Richie compares his faked disease with what Annie did by sending him to prison; Annie doesn't see any similarities. Richie throws their mothers death in Annie's face which freaks her out. She is no longer sure that putting Richie away was the right thing to do and even thinks she may be turning into her brother! Ryan tells Annie that Richie doesn't have to control her or influence her. Richie tells Ryan to watch out because if he ticks Annie off, Ryan just might be the next man in prison! Ryan allows Richie to use the restroom. Back in the cabin, Richie refuses to be handcuffed again. When the pilot comes back to check on their raised voices, Richie grabs him. "Now we start doing things my way," Richie says!
Babe confronts JR about the drink on the bar. JR distracts her by saying the drink was for another patron, not him. Babe buys the story and apologizes to him. When she learns JR's car has broken down she offers him a ride home but he turns her down. Babe realizes there is something more bothering him and JR begins telling her his sob story - without giving too many details! - then says he really wanted the drink on the bar. She realizes his deal with Ava is most likely over and JR admits that it really is toast. Babe brings over some comfort food; JR tells her about Adam's offer, kicking himself for not taking Adam's deal. Babe encourages him by reminding him that he is a winner and things will work out. JR is still feeling sorry for himself but is doing better. He tells Babe that he still needs her. They begin talking about Richie, which leads them to little A; both agree that their son is the one thing they have both done right. A service mechanic comes to the bar to tell JR that his car has to be towed and won't be fixed. Babe offers him a ride home. They arrive at his yacht. JR kisses Babe and she kisses him back. They make love!
