Babe and Amanda argue about JR; Wes doesn't like JR. Ava convinces Jonathan to go into business with JR! Erica finds out about Kendall's renewed "friendship" with Greenlee. Aidan agrees to withhold his suspicions about Annie to help Ryan.
JR meets Amanda at ConFusion to tell her about Ava falling into line with his plans. Babe and Wes walk in and Amanda invites them to join the party. Reluctantly Babe and Wes sit down. JR isn't thrilled with the new arrivals. Amanda fills JR in on Wes's job at The Comeback, which makes him even more leery of their involvement. JR offers a toast to Wes for saving Babe's life and then calls for the missing champagne. JR walks away. Wes follows a few moments later. When they girls are alone, Babe goes off on her friend, upset that Amanda asked them over. Amanda doesn't see that she did anything wrong. Babe calls Amanda out, asking why she is so insecure about her relationship with JR.
Ava and Jonathan are in another part of the bar, talking about their relationship. Jonathan is standoffish because of the latest tabloid headline but Ava puts him at ease, reminding him that he is a different guy now. She segues from that to asking him to bankroll JR's new business venture. Jonathan wonders how Ava got JR to renew their business partnership. He wants to know why Ava is so set on working with JR and suggests that they go out on their own - and cut JR out of the deal! Ava isn't sure that Jonathan can make the new network fly with all of his other responsibilities. She thinks his past might hinder them, too, and tells him to just let JR do all the work!
At the bar, JR is giving Wes a lesson on good champagne. Wes could care less and orders a couple of beers. JR asks for the bill and Del gives him the total (almost $500). He pays. Del tells Wes to watch out for JR because he always goes home with the sexy girls! Del delivers Wes's beers and he turns to go back to the table. He calls JR "Junior" and tells him to lighten up. JR turns to Ava's table, curious about how she is doing with Jonathan. He listens in as Jonathan tells Ava that working with JR is a huge mistake. Jonathan warns her that JR will mess things up; Ava tells him that JR's name carries a lot of weight. She kisses him and then sees JR watching them. Ava leads Jonathan out of ConFusion. At the bar, JR reminds himself that Ava is business - not pleasure!
Wes delivers the drinks but doesn't stay at the table. Babe tells Amanda that she doesn't want JR and warns her friend to protect herself from JR's ruthlessness. JR and Wes return to the table at the same time and they all share a drink. Amanda makes a quick exit with JR, leaving Babe and Wes to enjoy their evening at ConFusion. They enjoy their time together and both swear off double dates for the foreseeable future. Babe kisses Wes as they talk about second dates.
Ryan ignores the fact that Aidan and Greenlee were getting quite cozy on the beach and asks Aidan to come with him. Greenlee goes to wait in the car. Aidan annoys Ryan, telling him that all the evidence points to Annie being the mugger. When Ryan doesn't go ballistic, Aidan thinks that Ryan believes the same thing. They argue and Ryan asks Aidan to stay on the case to help find Richie. "What if you don't like what I find?" he asks. Ryan says he is open to the truth, whatever the truth is. Aidan isn't so sure. Ryan tells Aidan about the dead drug addict; Aidan doesn't like the coincidence but decides to help Ryan track down Annie's brother. Aidan makes one condition on his help, though. He wants Ryan to call off the guards!
Kendall goes back to the New Beginnings set to talk things over with Erica. She hugs her mother and thanks her for the segment with Jason. Kendall tells her that she and Zach are going to start looking into cochlear implant options. Soon the conversation turns to Greenlee. Erica can't believe Kendall has decided to work with Greenlee. Kendall sets her straight, sort of, telling Erica that she is simply trying to get things back on track for Fusion. Erica leaves to finish up some office work when Kendall gets a phone call. It's Greenlee! She tells Kendall that Ryan's guards are still following her around and says they can only talk at Fusion. Kendall hesitates but Greenlee plods forward, asking about her day. Kendall tells her about Jason. As she talks, Erica walks up and listens to Kendall's side of the conversation. She tells Greens to keep their conversation on business all the time. Erica can't believe what she is hearing. Greenlee promises to keep things quiet and they hang up. Erica immediately confronts Kendall about the call. Kendall tells Erica her plans, stunning her mother. Erica offers to help Kendall carry things out but Kendall refuses. Zach calls and they talk about their bright futures for a second before hanging up.
Greenlee listens to Aidan and Ryan for a second. Ryan tells Aidan he'll call off the guards but will hold Aidan responsible for anything crazy that Greens might do! She interrupts them, telling Ryan that she isn't going to do anything to his family again. Ryan leaves. Aidan tells her that he has to come up with a way to get to the dead addict's things. Greenlee offers to help. Aidan finally agrees to let Greenlee help, which makes her very happy.
Hannah is busy going through Zach's office desk, looking for something when Zach walks in and asks what she is looking for! Lily and Josh walk in as Hannah is explaining that she was just looking for a new file. Lily tells her about the new filing system and Hannah changes her tune, telling them she was looking for something personal. "Oh. Are you and Hannah going to have sex in the office again?" Lily asks Josh. Uncomfortable, Hannah tells the group that she is there to work, and only to work. Josh can't believe what he is hearing. He and Lily step outside. Alone, Hannah tells Zach she was looking for the letter she wrote to him. Zach shows her the envelope; it hasn't been opened! Hannah can't believe he never read what she wrote. Zach says he didn't need to because they have both moved on. He takes the envelope and leaves. He runs into Lily in the hall and she apologizes for bringing up Hannah and Josh's sex-escapades. She leaves. Alone, Zach remembers the night in Hannah's yacht club room.
On another section of beach, Ryan tells one of the guards to stay close to Greenlee and tap her phones!
Ava and Jonathan return to Wildwind and make love.
Hannah goes to her room at the yacht club and is getting ready for bed with Josh arrives. Hannah wonders what he wants. Josh takes a close look at her, reminds her that the office is off limits to them and then takes her in his arms! They make love.
