Annie asks Kendall for a huge favor; Kendall asks Ryan to leave Greenlee alone. Jack and Erica start their argumentative new show. It's fun day at the Martin house - until Adam makes a few demands.
Julia, Jonathan and Kathy are making Ava comfortable on the sofa. Julia and Kathy leave for school. When they leave, Ava throws a pity-party, believing her career is over because of the surgery and the tiny incision the docs had to make to save her life. "You need to suck it up!" Jonathan says. She brings up JR, saying he knows exactly what she needs. This makes Jonathan angry and he says JR is only looking out for his own needs. Ava could care less, as long as her face is the face JR is exploiting - and the face making the money! - she'll do anything. Jonathan changes the subject to her pregnancy fears and swears that he'll take care of the protection from then on. Ava takes that badly, thinking that he doesn't trust her to take the pill (even though she just admitted that she doesn't always remember them). She wonders if he doesn't want kids or if he doesn't want kids with her. Jonathan swears that he'll never have kids because of his past. "It's bad enough I'm Ryan's crazy brother. I won't be some kid's crazy father," he says. Ava tells Jonathan not to worry about his past because he isn't that guy any longer. Jonathan, though, can't forget what he did and insists that he won't father a child. JR arrives, shows them the latest tabloid headline - which shows Ava and Jonathan in a hot embrace with the headline "Beauty and the Beast". He says he is no longer interested in working with Ava!
Colby interrupts Krystal from her thousandth pass with a dust rag. Babe walks in, followed by JR and little A, and Krystal goes on point, asking Babe about the robbery. She decides it's time to sell the bar but everyone tells her to keep it going. Adam walks in and demands that Colby stop working at The Comeback. Colby informs Adam that she isn't quitting because she likes her new working girl image. Adam tries to convince her to move back home if she won't quit and tells her that he is the owner of the manse again. Krystal is stunned, as are JR and Babe. Adam invites JR back, too, but he sarcastically declines. Dre walks in and mistakes Adam for Stuart. Colby heads upstairs to grab a CD for him while Tad warns Dre to stay away from Adam. Dre gives him a CD of the concert. Colby returns when Tad asks Dre when they can "jam" again. Krystal and Babe step in, asking Tad about the drum magazines they've been finding around. Tad gives Colby a hard time about her sweet 16 party when Dre talks about Corrina's coming out party. She leaves to sweep the porch. Julia and Kathy arrive to drop off one of Jamie's books. Krystal and Babe sweep Kathy off with them, leaving Julia and Tad alone to talk about Jamie. They talk about parenthood and Julia gives Tad a picture Kathy drew for him. She tells him that she isn't pushing Kathy toward him but the girl still feels a connection. He apologizes for getting on her case about Kathy a few weeks before and welcomes both of them into his extended family. She asks about Kate and learns there is nothing new.
Meanwhile, JR asks Adam how he managed to get the mansion out of Zach's clutches and Adam says it was easy. When he isn't more forthcoming, JR tells him that maybe it's time to let the cat out of the bag - that Adam's been visiting every day disguised as Stuart! Adam tries to deny it but JR is certain that he knows what Adam has been up to - winning Krystal back! Adam keeps up his objections and JR realizes what Adam is really after - the whole shebang: Krystal, Colby, JR, little A and Jenny, too! JR leaves. Adam heads straight for Krystal and tells her that the police will find the would-be robber; she says she is glad he has the mansion back. "Doesn't mean a thing without my family," he says and then makes a comment about her mess of a house. She doesn't seem to care that the house is a mess.
JR walks away from Adam to ask Babe about the break-in at the bar. They agree to both be more careful for the sake of little A. On his PDA, JR shows Babe a sketch of the perpetrator; she says it's a good likeness. JR returns to Adam and tells him that he'll keep the secret as long as Adam steers clear of Colby. They return to the rest of the Martin/Carey clan, gathered in the living room. JR says his goodbyes and leaves. Julia tells Tad that family life obviously agrees with him and asks about his renewed relationship with Krystal. Tad says they are just friends who are co-parenting. He asks about Wildwind and Julia says the crew is shrinking with Di and Jamie and Aidan all moved out. He invites her to the Martin house if she gets lonely and then catches Adam grinning at Krystal and Jenny.
Dre catches up with Colby outside and she gives him the low-down on the Chandler family - from Adam to Stuart. She asks about his parents but Dre explains that he doesn't live at home. Colby apologizes for lying but thanks Dre for catching on - he never asked for a CD, she just needed space from Adam! Dre shrugs it off, saying everyone has their secrets. Colby brings up school and realizes she is late. Dre heads off to a rehearsal. She goes inside and Adam offers to drive her to school. Colby realizes that Jenny is grinning at Adam. "She must think Dad is Uncle Stuart," Colby says. Krystal wonders about that. Colby, Krystal and Babe talk in the entryway about her moving back in to the mansion. Colby isn't sure what to do but realizes she does want time with her dad. She returns to Adam and says she won't move home and she won't quit her job. But, she'll come by more and spend a few weekends with him. She asks him to drive her to school and they leave. On their way out the door, Krystal asks Adam to give Stuart a message to stop by The Comeback.
Jack and Erica meet with Pam before the next episode of He Said She Said. Pam is a bit nervous because they are so cuddly with one another and she thinks America doesn't want that. They assure her that once the camera rolls, they will be in fighting shape! They begin arguing about adult children interfering with their parent's lives - Jack takes the position that parents should allow adult kids to make their own decisions but Erica objects, saying that parents need to always be involved. They begin arguing about parenting versus step-parenting. Erica says she would do anything for her kids but hesitates when Jack asks if she would go so far for a step-child.
Kendall tells Zach about the signs she has learned on a hearing loss message board. They are just about to wake Spike when Ryan and Annie walk in and drop a bomb - they are moving out! Both assure Kendall that they won't take Spike with them and then tell the Slater's about Annie's brother. Zach offers to help with security but Ryan declines. Kendall sits with Annie on the sofa and tells her that they aren't leaving her home! Annie refuses, not wanting to put Kendall or Zach in danger, too. She does ask them to keep Emma, though. Kendall agrees and tells Annie that it's only a temporary measure. Reassured, Annie thanks her. Ryan and Zach return. Kendall tells Ryan that she'll keep Emma and in the next breath asks him to take the tails off Greenlee! They walk away and she says that Ryan needs to focus all of the security on Annie but he says there is more than enough security to go around. Meanwhile in the living room, Zach comforts Annie, telling her that he'll help in any way he can. Ryan and Annie are talking to Emma about their moving plans when Zach steps in and asks if Emma can stay with them for a fun few days - like camp! Excited, Emma agrees to the plan. Ryan and Annie leave. Outside, Ritchie is watching them from the corner of the house!
