Kendall comes clean to Ryan, mostly because Zach tells him there is something he needs to know. Angry, he storms out to get Spike and take him away from Kendall! She can't believe that he is packing Spike up, even if it's just a trip to the park. Annie asks if Ryan wants her to come, too, but he wants time alone with Spike. Ryan leaves. Kendall picks up her keys to follow him; Zach tries to stop her but she insists on following Ryan. Alone, Zach tells Annie everything will be alright. Annie isn't so sure. Without giving Zach all the details, Annie explains that she can't seem to open her past to Ryan. Zach reminds her that the past has a way of catching up with people, then goes to the kitchen to make tea. When he returns they talk a bit more. Zach doesn't ask for any details but tells Annie that she should tell Ryan because he'll stand beside her. "He loves you. All of you, the whole package," he says. She changes the subject to Ian and he shows her new pictures.

At the park, Ryan begins talking in sign to Spike as they watch the other kids on the rides. Kendall walks up, which only makes him more angry. He turns away, focusing on Spike and ignoring Kendall but she plunges on, demanding his attention. Angry, Ryan can't believe she would be so reckless with Spike - she doesn't know anything about Dr. Hilliard or his "vitamins"! "And I don't ever want to hear you badmouth Greenlee because you're just like her!" he says. Finally Kendall apologizes for not keeping him informed and not asking his opinions. Ryan tells her it isn't right that he is an afterthought when it comes to caring for Spike. Kendall asks him to come with her.

Adam is dressed as Stuart and making plans to get his company back! He heads to Tad and Krystal's next and is surprised to see all the young people around. Krystal walks in with chili as he watches the goings on. Finally he steps into the room, playing his Stuart role to the hilt. The hip-hoppers invite Colby and Sean out to their show and they convince Krystal to extend their curfew to 1am. Adam brings up age limits but the band is sure they can get Colby in with them. Colby swears she won't get into trouble if they let her stay out later than 1am. Tad agrees to let Colby stay out as late as possible - as long as he can tag along! He heads up stairs to change clothes. Krystal and the rest of the crowd leaves, too, leaving Adam to talk to Colby. He gets emotional when she mentions missing Adam and hugs her tightly. They talk about Adam for a bit and "Stuart" tells Colby he is doing well and following the doctor's orders. He tells Colby to go see Adam sometime but she isn't sure that is a good idea. She goes off to the kitchen to help Krystal and leaves him alone with Jenny. Adam begins to talk to her and Krystal listens in. They talk a bit about the kids in their lives and she wonders if Adam could love a child that wasn't his own. She doesn't think he could after the things he did. "Stuart" asks if Krystal could ever get past what Adam did to her and to Jenny; he isn't sure how to answer. Instead, he asks if he can tuck Jenny in.

JR pulls Amanda back to bed but she resists him, needing to get ready for work. He brings up her kiss with Ava, suggesting that as the reason that Fusion is doing so well lately. Amanda becomes annoyed, as much because JR keeps bringing it up as because it happened at all. She wonders if JR could be up to something. He lets her know that Ava is just money to him, but Amanda is much, much more. Still, he can't stop talking about Ava being a cash-cow. Amanda becomes angrier with him but JR presses on with his idea - an Internet shopping network based around Ava. Amanda thinks the idea is horrible but JR just keeps talking about the things they'll offer - from information to actual products. He swears that he doesn't want to take Ava from Fusion and Amanda agrees that it could work. She gets even more excited when JR suggests they do it together so she can get her $500,000! They begin to make love, ignoring a knock on the door, but the guys outside are insistent and JR opens up. It's a couple of repo-men there to take the yacht back. JR "bought" the ship with no money! Amanda can't believe it.

Over a picnic at the beach, Ava asks Jonathan if they can stay there all night. When he turns back to work - he brought his laptop to the beach - she does her best to distract him. They begin talking about the Lavery family and his past mental health issues. "Ryan gave me my life back," Jonathan says. They talk more about their families and for the first time Ava realizes she understands what love is - because of Lily! As they talk Jonathan suggests that they are both so attached to their siblings because their siblings are the only people who can really see them. Ava jumps up and runs to the water to play. Jonathan follows her. They return to the beach a while later and kiss passionately. Paparazzi are hiding in the bushes and start to take pictures! Jonathan suggests they go somewhere other than the beach but Ava is quite happy where they are. They drop the towel, giving the paparazzi a whole new angle!

Zach and Annie visit Ian at the hospital. Seeing Ian helps put things in perspective for her. Ryan, Kendall and Spike arrive. Kendall takes Annie's place with Zach. Annie goes into the hall with Ryan and tells him she is ready to talk to him!

Kendall and Zach get romantic. Erica and Greenlee fight some more. Annie tells Ryan that she killed her mother!
