Greenlee is feeling goooood. Annie is more freaked out by the minute; Kendall and Ryan see Dr. Hilliard. Zach gets to hold Ian!
The Slater's and Lavery's are getting ready for the big move. Kendall is relaxed after getting some read sleep but Annie is still worried - and won't tell anyone why. Zach leaves to visit the hospital but Kendall stays behind for an appointment with her doctor. Ryan suggests Emma stay behind with him but Annie wants to take Emma to work with her. Ryan leaves to get Spike dressed for the day. Kendall asks if Annie is really okay with the move and is assured that Annie loves the idea. Annie leaves to get Emma ready for the day. Alone, Kendall calls Dr. Hilliard! He immediately turns down helping Spike! Kendall begs Dr. Hilliard to take on Spike's case; he tells her about Aidan's visit and Kendall apologizes to him. Angry over Aidan's visit, Dr. Hilliard tells her that he won't deal with private investigators and hangs up. Ryan returns and Kendall vents on him. Ryan defends his actions, saying they needed to know more about Dr. Hilliard; Kendall could care less about his reasons and tells him that he just ruined Spike's best chance to hear! They argue and Ryan agrees to go with him to meet with Dr. Hilliard - together - so they can both speak with him. Before Kendall can say anything else, they leave.
Zach arrives at the hospital to find Josh is already there, checking on Ian. Josh updates Zach on the Chandler Enterprises deal - Adam is trying to cause trouble. He asks about Kendall and Zach updates Josh on the new living together routine. A nurse comes out and asks Zach if he'd like to hold Ian! Zach is really nervous when they tell him about a new "kangarooing" technique - where he can hold Ian on his chest, without a shirt - to introduce skin to skin contact. Zach decides to give it a try. Josh tells Zach how to hold Ian - with firm and constant pressure - and then shows him inside. Excited, Zach takes a seat beside the warmer and the nurse hands Ian to him! The baby is so small that Zach's hands cover him. Across the room, Josh takes a couple of picture with his cell phone but then the monitors begin to go off and the nurse takes Ian back very quickly. She explains that he is fine but the contact accelerated the baby's heart beat. Josh assures Zach that he can hold the baby again really soon. A while later the nurse gets Zach ready and hands Ian to him so they can try kangarooing again.
Ryan and Kendall arrive at Dr. Hilliard's. He asks them to leave but they won't until he hears them out about their extended family and the help he can give Spike. Ryan explains that he is skeptical but is willing to listen to the treatment options. His first question is about the person who referred Dr. Hilliard but he won't give them that information. The more he hesitates to give them any information or even talk about the treatment options, the more certain Ryan is that he is a charlatan! Kendall becomes angry and tells him to calm down and just listen. He asks again why, if Dr. Hilliard is only interested in helping people with hearing problems, he suddenly won't even consider helping Spike. Dr. Hilliard shows them to the door. In the outer office Kendall angrily tells Ryan that he just ruined Spike's life. "I think he is more dangerous than any con I used to be," Ryan says, certain that Dr. Hilliard would only hurt Spike. He suggests they try to find another doctor to work with Spike and that Dr. Hilliard isn't the only choice. Kendall decides to go along with Ryan. He takes Spike to the car. Kendall returns to Dr. Hilliard's office, locks the door, and demands that he help Spike!
Babe is beginning to field calls about The Kiss - everyone is loving what Ava did! Amanda can't believe it and tells Babe she is quitting with the handler position. Babe tells her to get a grip and back on the job. Talking to Amanda, Babe convinces her to stay on as Ava's handler to try to help the girl grow up! Annie arrives with Emma; Amanda takes her off to the back room and Annie and Babe discuss Ava's headlining ability. Babe mentions not being able to reach Annie, who tells her about changing the numbers. Curious, Babe wonders what is going on. Annie tells Babe a little about the strange phone calls, moving in with the Slaters and the other changes. Babe asks more questions about the phone calls and Annie tells her everything. Trying to calm her, Babe says the rose petals were probably just Fusion props that were misplaced. Annie is beginning to think that all the stress is only in her head. Babe tells her to fill Ryan in on the whole thing but Annie refuses. Babe realizes there is more to the story. Telling Annie about how she kept secrets from JR, Babe tells her that Ryan will understand and they will make it through - as long as Annie is honest with him. Annie isn't so sure.
At the hospital Aidan explains to Jack that he re-broke Greenlee's on the beach by doing the Heimlich. Heavily sedated, Greenlee is feeling really good. "Oh, group hug," she says when they go into her room. She's almost sickly sweet to Jack and Aidan, who are both dumbfounded by her. Aidan leaves to check on a few things. Greenlee tells Jack about Dr. Hilliard, certain under the influence of pain killers that Kendall will forgive her and Spike will hear again. Jack has a lot of questions that Greens can't or won't answer. He warns her that she may be making more trouble instead of making things better, which prompts her to remember Dr. Hilliard turning down any help for Spike. Greenlee can't focus on much of anything because of the drugs and they go from talking about Spike to her new liking for Aidan and Jack's love for his daughter. Aidan returns after Greens falls asleep. He apologizes to Jack, who cuts him off short, thanking Aidan for helping Greens. Aidan leaves a stuffed tiger for Greens and leaves.
Annie returns to the house as Ryan and Spike arrive. Ryan hands her a box that was delivered earlier and she opens it. Inside is a gold pocket watch with a note, asking Annie where she will be on "our anniversary". She begins to shake!
