She's got those feelings - again!

Thursday, August 23 2007
Annie analyzes Greenlee. JR quizzes Babe about Ava. Ryan tells Kendall it's time for Spike to go home - with him! Jack gets advice from Krystal.

Zach is talking to Ian in the NICU, promising that as soon as he gains a little more weight he'll be right where he wants to be - in Kendall's arms. Zach sees Lily outside and invites her inside to tell her that the story book was a great gift. Lily isn't sure how to react to the baby or the situation, especially when Zach shows her how they feed Ian through a tube. Zach asks her to help feed him. Lily bonds with the boy, feeling like they have a lot in common.

Can Kendall let Spike go?

Kendall is singing to Spike in their hospital room when Ryan walks in. She immediately defends her actions with Dr. Hilliard. Ryan begins talking to Spike in sign language, angering Kendall. "That's not helping. That's giving up," she says. Ryan insists that they start learning and using sign language and even tells her that taking Spike to Dr. Hilliard was a big mistake! Reluctantly Kendall admits that she should have told Ryan before taking Spike and believes he is coming around, that he believes - as she does - that Spike will hear again naturally. Ryan sets her straight, saying he has hope but that they need to consider what Dr. Norton has been telling them about the cochlear implants. Kendall calls him a quitter, not wanting to admit that Spike has a permanent problem. Ryan changes the subject, kind of, and tells Kendall that Joe is ready to release Spike. He wants to take Spike to his home so that Kendall can stay with Ian at the hospital! "No!" Kendall says, believing that Ryan is trying to steal Spike from her. Zach walks in. Ryan backtracks, explaining to them both that it's a temporary measure, only until Ian is better. Zach likes the idea! He explains that this will give them more time and attention for Ian. Reluctantly Kendall agrees to let Ryan take Spike for a while. She talks to Spike, telling him that he'll have a great adventure with Ryan and Emma and Annie, then hands him over to his dad. Ryan leaves with the boy. Kendall watches them go with tears running down her face. She finds one of Spike's toys and decides to take it to Ryan's. Zach stops her, telling her to relax and just let Spike get used to life at Ryan's. They return to the NICU.

Annie is panicking!

It's late but Annie takes Emma to work at Fusion, sits her down at a desk to color and then goes to get some of her own work. Greenlee surprises her, putting Annie on edge. Getting herself under control, Annie begins to psycho-analyze Greens, telling her that things aren't what she wants them to be but that things will get better. Greenlee opens up to Annie a little, telling the other woman that she can't forget what she did to Spike. In the next breath, Greens wonders why Annie is speaking to her at all. She brings up Terry, wondering if that is why Annie seems so in tune with Greens' problems. Annie returns to working but when she spots some rose petals, gets nervous again. This makes Emma nervous and gains Greenlee's attention. She wonders what is wrong with Annie. The roses spark a panic attack, which triggers Annie's asthma. She grabs her inhaler and Greenlee brings her some water. She tries to blame the panic on Alexander leaving behind dead flowers when he was killing the Fusion girls and starts to leave. Greenlee won't let her go alone and offers to drive Annie home herself. Annie decides to make tea once they arrive home. Emma offers to help and then ropes Greenlee into helping, too. A few minutes later Ryan arrives home with Spike - just as Greenlee comes out of the kitchen with Emma!

Is Babe ready to be on her own?

Babe sadly sits at The Comeback bar, waiting for JR to arrive with little A. Krystal tells her to relax and asks her to just admit that she is feeling strange about Jamie leaving. Before she can answer, JR arrives. They grab a table in the back. The subject quickly turns to Jamie's move to Africa. JR brings up Ava and begins to quiz Babe on the girl's contract with Fusion. Babe believes he is trying to steal Ava from under Fusion! JR asks what he could be stealing Ava for, after all he isn't a high powered executive any longer. He changes the subject and shows Babe a picture that little A drew. She begins to cry, unsettled about all the changes in her life. JR suggests she go live with Krystal for a while but Babe declines. She would rather be on her own than relying on others.

At the bar, Jack orders a drink and begins to talk to Krystal about his life. Erica believes he is siding with Greenlee and Greenlee believes he is siding with Erica - and neither will believe that he is trying to support them both. Krystal tells Jack that the tug of war, at least on Greenlee's part, is probably because she didn't have Jack in her life from the beginning. Jack realizes how wrong it was to tell her to leave town.

Next on AMC:

Ava lays a hot kiss on Amanda. Annie is nervous about Spike living with them. Kendall is now afraid of losing Ian the way she has "lost" Spike.

I was too bored to finish watching today.I really hope they have a good s/l coming...

I know the Comeback is owned and operated by Krystal, but Little A shouldn't be in there. And Colby is not old enough to be selling liquor/beer to anyone, no matter who she is working for!

I'm glad Annie and Greenlee at least have an understanding of one another...

I think Ryan was wrong to say "Spike is coming home with me whether you like it or not" and "You're acting like a crazy woman" Where does he get off?

I loved the episode!

I liked the Krystal/Jackson scenes! I loved the Annie/Greenlee scenes. They were being civil. But My favorite part was the JR/Babe scenes!

The ending was great! Ryan coming in seeing Greenlee holding tea for Annie!

Ava kisses Amanda!? yuck-yuck-yuckYUCK! I don't even want to watch! JR, hurry up and get Ava off of these girls' hands! If Babe is that sad/lonesome after Jamie leaves, maybe she ought to rekindle something again with JR or just find some hunk and in a couple of years, leave Pine Valley. I prefer the former, because I really like JR!
Please take away more Greenlee/Kendall/Ian/Ryan/Spike/Zach dominating the show! Give me story like JR becomes an executive again and falls in love with someone (preferably Babe or Amanda.)

I agree with Ripped into peices.....Ryan should not be talking to Kendall like that......look how many times he has acted like a crazy person and those eyes of his....HIS whole family acts crazy ... after all he is the one who wanted Greenlee back into their lives

Little A and Colby (she is playing 16 yrs old) should NOT be in the Comeback..

Oh, personally I think Kendall can do better in her choices of husbands. She's following her mother's footsteps in that department. As for Ryan, he should NOT have Spike! Not with Annie keeping secrets and strange things happening.
I'm glad the writers are getting better, but please make Greenlee likeable. What would be poetic justice would be for Kendall to divorce Zach and he winds up with her! Unless she straightens up and becomes more likeable

Just FYI, The Comeback is also considered a restaurant. A bar and grill really. And kids are legally allowed in places that serve alcohol if they are an establishment that serves food. They just can't sit at the bar. And Colby can serve food and clean tables and such. She just can't serve alcohol until she is 18. Which is why she is not allowed behind the bar.

thanks for the information on bar policy and serving drinks...just seems odd.
