Lenny makes a few hostage demands. Greenlee demands Aidan set her free. Kendall and Ryan continue their ride on the Guilt Train.
Ryan comes into Spike's room, listening to Kendall talk to Spike. She asks him to tell Spike that he'll be fine but Ryan doesn't answer! Joe stops by and tells Kendall she needs to take better care of herself - starting with getting some sleep. She tells him she is fine but then gets light headed. Joe makes her sit down and orders her back to bed but Kendall refuses to leave Spike. Joe leaves Kendall is Ryan's hand; when they are alone she breaks down, asking Ryan how she can leave when Spike needs her so badly. Ryan sets Kendall up in a recliner with a pillow and blanket so she doesn't have to leave Spike and they talk about Greens. Ryan tells her that the old Greenlee doesn't exist and hasn't for a long time. He blames himself for Spike's situation but Kendall tells him she is just as much to blame. "I never stopped loving her, until now," she says. They sit with Spike a while longer and Kendall rests her head on Ryan's shoulder and finally sleeps.
Aidan comes into a room at the yacht club. Greenlee, who is there against her will, throws a vase at his head! He avoids the vase and tells her to calm down. He explains that he was completely justified in removing her from the hospital because she was poking her nose where it didn't belong. Greenlee figures out that Zach put him up to it and tells him she'll have him arrested for kidnapping! Aidan isn't affected at all and tells Greens to sit down and eat. Greenlee wonders if he told Zach everything and Aidan assures her he kept her secrets - not to protect her but because they are all dealing with enough right now! Greenlee begins talking about how much she loves Kendall and Ryan, telling Aidan that she can't walk away from them. Aidan thinks she is full of it and tells her that she broke any love and connection she once had with them. Greenlee doesn't believe it. "I just need a way back it and it's going to all be okay again," she says, believing she can fix the things she messed up! She asks Aidan to let her go but he won't. He also won't tell her how Spike is now, telling her she has no right to know anything about him any longer! Greenlee begs him for info on Spike and he tells her that Spike is deaf. "Nothing you did can be undone," he says, telling her to leave. Greens begs him to stop talking but Aidan won't let up. Greenlee shrinks into a corner. "I'm staying," she says, telling him she can't leave until she finds a solution to all the problems she has caused.
Adam calls his partner, telling him to move ahead with the Cambias takeover. He turns to the bar and catches a news report about JR and Ava's hostage status. He thinks it is a set up, that JR planned another situation and asks the bartender to turn the station. As he tells the television they've all been had the bartender tells Adam to leave. He does, but only for a moment before he heads to the beach.
Jack takes over from Derek with the media, asking them to back off so the police can take care of things. Behind the media line, Jonathan asks Amanda about her relationship with JR. Upset and worried about him, Amanda wonders why he didn't just walk away. Tad arrives and heads straight to Jack, along with Babe, Krystal, Colby and Sean. Jack blames JR for the situation. Derek tells Tad about Ava helping with a drug bust and also blames JR for getting involved. Annoyed, Tad tells them they should never have chosen a public beach to do a drug sting. Krystal asks Colby to leave but she won't budge. Babe asks Tad how things really are and he admits he doesn’t know. Sean asks Jack if this is part of the way they are going to clear him and Jack admits it is. Bereft, Jonathan asks Amanda what he'll do if Ava doesn't make it out alive. Jack and Derek have a private confab, hoping that JR and Ava will make something happen that will save the day. Talking to Krystal, Babe worries that JR won't make it out okay. She is worried, not only because he is in danger but also because he has been acting like two different people for a long time. Spotting Amanda, Babe goes to talk with her, reassuring Amanda that she will be okay. Adam shows up and asks Jack to let him through. Derek and Jack pull the tape so he can pass and Adam immediately goes on the attack wondering how many of his family members are on drugs. Jack outs Adam as the source behind Sean's arrest and he turns to Tad, blaming him for the whole situation! Derek goes after Adam and Jack pulls him back as Adam continues arguing with Tad. He becomes even more angry, then has a sharp pain and nearly falls over! Colby rushes to his side.
Inside the shack, Ava tries to take some of the heat off JR. He goes to leave but Lenny won't let him out the door! Instead, he tells Ava to leave JR alone; she refuses, telling Lenny she is the better hostage. JR begins arguing with her and Lenny changes his mind, ordering them both to sit down and shut up! JR and Ava continue arguing, neither liking the other at all, and making Lenny a little bit nutty. JR whispers to Ava that they need a plan. Whispering, they continue arguing and tossing barbs at one another. Ava asks Lenny if she can sit across the room from JR but he doesn't allow it. Instead he calls Derek for an update and demands that Derek show up with the plane in 5 minutes or he'll kill one of the hostages. Ava begins to whine about becoming a corpse instead of a star. JR tells her to get over it and they begin bickering again. Lenny tries to ignore them and listen to what is going on outside but can't hear over their voices. JR tells Ava they need to distract Lenny and they begin fighting for real - hitting and kicking at one another. Lenny pulls Ava away from JR and points the gun right at her. JR jumps him from behind and they begin fighting over the gun.
Derek hangs up from talking to Lenny. Tad asks for details; Jack and Derek ask him to just be calm. Lily arrives, very worried about Ava, whom she saw on the news. Jonathan talks to her, telling Lily that Ava was part of a sting operation. When Colby tries to play nursemaid, Adam angrily tells her to back off. Krystal steps in and tells Adam that he needs to see a doctor - and leave his daughter alone. Adam won't listen. Krystal opens a bottle of water and offers it to him. Finally, Adam opens up a little because of his worry over JR. Amanda and Jonathan begin arguing about JR - again! Telling Jonathan that she still thinks Ava is trouble Amanda tells Jonathan that she may also be good for him! Sean and Colby talk to Lily about Ava's actions to help the police, extremely proud of what Ava did and hoping she'll get out okay. Babe returns to Amanda, who admits she is really scared for JR. Babe reaches out to her. In tears, Amanda tells Babe that she has her moments when she wants to hurt JR but mostly she has fun with him and cares about him. The crowd hears a gunshot from inside the shack!
Derek pulls everyone back from the shack as Lenny walks out of the shack, pushing Ava ahead of him! JR is right behind and holds up the gun, telling them the situation is over! Police officers rush to take Lenny into custody as the Chandler and Martin crew head straight to JR. Ava immediately begins posing for the cameras until Jonathan pulls her back and hugs her tightly. Jack tells her Lily is there. Ava turns to see Lily holding out her arms. The girls hug!
