Kendall and Annie come to terms; Hannah confronts Zach about Ethan. Aidan reaches out to Ava; Bianca has a revelation.

Josh arrives home to find Bianca, Zoe and her mother there. Zoe asks Binx and Josh to leave so they can talk alone. Without makeup and in men's clothes, Zoe offers to be Freddie for Margie again! She even sheds the English accent and offers to buy them tickets back to Indiana. "It'll be perfect, just like it was before," Zoe says. Margie doesn't buy the act and asks whey Zoe is doing this. Trying to convince Margie that she can ignore what she wants as long as she can have her mother, Zoe pushes Margie to leave town with her. "Freddie, no," she exclaims, when Zoe grabs a pair of scissors and prepares to cut her hair! Margie takes the scissors, telling Zoe to talk to her about what she really wants. "It all hurt me, Ma," she says, crying over the pain of her life. She explains that she kept her life filled with stuff so that she wouldn't have to have quiet moments alone with the pain of who she was. "I wanted to die," she says. Finally realizing the pain that Zoe has been in, Margie asks when she first knew. Zoe talks about crying through her first haircut and Margie is shocked that she knew so early. "I can't be your son," she says. Margie reaches out, calling her Zoe for the first time and telling her she is glad she's growing her hair out again. Mother and son embrace!

In the hall, Bianca worries about what is going to happen inside. She tells Josh how they found Zoe, with her face half made up, as they head to her penthouse. Josh tries to calm her down, explaining that Margie loves her son. Bianca's worry, though, is that Zoe will ignore who she is and revert to Zarf or Freddie just to make her mother happy! "Doctors and group go out the window when compared with a mother's love and acceptance," Bianca says, worried. Josh advises Bianca to take some time and stay away; saying what happens between Zoe and her mother has to be between the two of them alone. "Just sit here and wait?" Bianca says, not sure she can do that. Josh tries to distract her with a bag of goodies; Bianca shows him the things she bought for Zoe - music, movies, books - because she has so few things of her own. As she goes through the sack, Bianca comes to a realization. "She was right," Bianca says, flashing back to their first meeting when Zoe, as Zarf, asked if she believed in love at first sight. She asks Josh the same question and he talks about Babe. Bianca admits she felt something from the first moment she knew Zoe. "I want to be there for her. I'm falling for her," Bianca admits.
Ryan visits the cemetery, stopping at Erin's grave to tell her about Annie. "I wish you could be there when we say our vows," he says emotionally. Slowly he approaches the tombstone to return Erin's comic book. Ryan leaves, telling Erin that she is his hero.

At Wildwind, Annie is counting chicken pox scars when Kendall arrives with flowers. Annie wonders why she is there, and Kendall tells her she is excited about the coming wedding. "I must be sicker than I thought," Annie says. Kendall apologizes for her actions in the past, making Annie cry. When Annie continues to question her motives, Kendall takes back the flowers and magazines and angrily leaves Annie's room! A moment later, she returns, offering the flowers and saying, "Let's make nice but not too nice." Annie gives in and allows Kendall to cover the pox marks with makeup. When she finishes, Annie asks what she really wants. "I play nice with you, you play nice with me and Spike grows up saner than any Kane or Lavery in history," Kendall admits. Annie shows Kendall a story she wrote for Ryan and Spike, and Kendall is shocked at how great the story and the artwork are. Ryan arrives, curious about why they aren't fighting. Kendall asks them to choose a date and then she's throwing them an engagement party. She asks if Spike can be part of the wedding and leaves them alone. "That is a miracle," Ryan says, amazed at how Kendall is acting. They lie together on Annie's bed and she wonders how Erin would react to their wedding news. Ryan tells her Erin would love it. When he suggests the marry right away, Annie says they have to wait - until she is pox-free!

At Cambias, Hannah delivers more work to Lily, who is working on something for Zach and refuses to drop everything for Hannah. Annoyed, Hannah approaches Lily, demanding that she ignore Zach's work and grabbing Lily by the shoulder. Lily reacts, afraid of the anger emanating from Hannah and from the demands the woman is putting on her. She pushes Hannah away, yelling, "Don't touch, don't touch, don't touch!" Sitting on the floor, rocking and counting, Lily reverts into herself. Zach comes out, telling Lily he is sorry for not taking her illness into better account but not getting too close to her. Hannah watches them, concerned. Seeing how Zach interacts with Lily helps Hannah to see him in a different light. Zach leads Lily into his office to begin working on a new plan for her time at Cambias. He offers to find Lily a safe place to go when she's feeling uncomfortable right in the Cambias offices! He mentions a supply closet that could be turned into her safe place and Lily likes the idea. She leaves to check it out. Lily peeks in the room and then down the hall before closing herself inside. Sinking into the corner, Lily tries to get comfortable once more.

Seeing Lily leave, Hannah comes in, angry. "How can you be so good to her and so awful to our son?" she demands. Angry that she wasn't allowed to be with Ethan and angry that Zach turned his back on their son, Hannah lets him have it with both barrels. Zach doesn't defend what he did, but also won't say that his actions were wrong. "You want to curse me? Condemn me?" he asks, and tells her that he is already cursing and condemning his own actions. Hannah asks him to tell her about Ethan's death and reluctantly, he does. Zach tells her that Ethan asked for his mom and she wonders which mother - Edith, his adoptive mom or her. Zach doesn't answer, which is answer enough for Hannah. She leaves his office, still upset over Ethan.

In the Phildaelphia hotel, Aidan tells Ava there is someone she needs to meet! He tells her what he knows about Denny and the rest of her family, freaking Ava out. "You aren't the only kid he left behind," he says and shows Ava a picture of Lily. Intrigued, Ava takes the picture. "She has my face," she says as Aidan explains about Lily's autism. Aidan tells her that meeting Lily probably isn't a good idea, making her mad. "I'm not a hooker," she says, believing that her supposed profession is why he wants to keep them apart. She tells Aidan that she plays up to men and then simply steals their wallets! That doesn't make Aidan feel any better about her meeting Lily, however. He tries to call her mother, but Ava knocks the phone from his hand before the call can go through. Aidan asks her to let him help, and gives her his card, but she isn't interested in his help and tosses the card away. Annoyed, Aidan turns to leave. Ava stops him at the door, asking him to tell Lily hello for her!
