At the Valley Inn, Bianca visits Mrs. Luper. "How is my Freddie?" the woman asks but Bianca ignores the question, preferring to ask some of her own. Margie holds tightly to her child's baby blanket, wondering how she can help her son when she doesn't understand what has happened. "Zoe just needs you to love her," Bianca replies. She explains that the Zoe she knows and the Freddie Margie remebers have the same likes and dislikes, compassion and heart! Margie brings out some family photos and the two talk about the boy she remembers and the woman Bianca has come to know. "How do I help my son?" Margie finally asks. Bianca's answer is for Margie to show Zoe her love.

At ConFusion, Zoe is tipsy and in the mood to celebrate! Her family and the world thinks she is crazy, so she is going to prove them right! Amanda moves off to wait on other customers and Zoe heads behind the bar to help out; she winds up making a spectacle of herself. Del approaches, telling her to calm down and angering her. Amanda is finally able to pull Zoe from the spotlight. Zoe begins to cry, wishing she were a complete woman. "To your one-gender life, Amanda," she says in toast to her friend. Zoe asks about Janet, but Amanda doesn't let it slip that Adam helped her escape. "I'm terrified for her," is all she says. A man approaches to buy Zoe a drink. "You're a sick freak," he says in toast and tosses back the drink. Del comes to Zoe's defense, asking the man to leave. When he doesn't Zoe steps up to defend herself! Angrily, Zoe toasts the man saying, "My parents would have loved every bigoted part of you." Zoe slugs the drink and turns away, crying as Del escorts the man from the bar. Zoe hurries home and sadly stares at her reflection for a moment before running bathroom. There, she begins applying makeup to only half of her face. Bianca and Margie arrive, shocked at her appearance. Bianca asks Zoe to allow Margie inside, but Zoe wants nothing to do with her mother and turns away. When Margie turns to leave, Zoe rushes after her, hugging her and asking her to stay!

In the garden, Tad and Jamie begin investigating the door while Adam is passed out. Tad heads up the stairs but the door at the top is locked, when he returns, Jamie hands over a key that could open the room - their plan is to lock Adam inside! In the attic, Janet is painting a portrait of Amanda, happy to be away from the sanitarium. She hears Jamie and Tad approach and quickly hides. Tad and Jamie are shocked to find a completely decorated room, stocked with food and drink. "Maybe this is where he stashed Stuart," Tad reasons, and wonders who he had planned to stash there next! They leave and Janet begins to care for Adam, who wakes wondering where he is. Outside the room, Jamie and Tad argue about whether to leave him there and finally agree that they have no other option. Inside the room, Adam freaks out when he realizes he has no phone and has been locked inside! Janet tries to calm him by reminding him that Amanda knows where they are, but begins to worry herself when Adam reminds her that Amanda was blindfolded until she got inside! Refusing to give up, Adam begins trying to tear apart the wardrobe that Tad and Jamie used to bar the door. Janet begins to practice yoga to keep calm, angering Adam all the more. In the Chandler parlor, Babe asks JR for a decision as Josh eavesdrops. Angry, JR pours himself a drink. He doesn't drink it, telling Babe that he is willing to do anything not to lose her. "You still love me!" he says. With tears in her eyes, Babe asks JR to understand that she does love him but that doesn't change the fact that they aren't good together any longer. JR picks up a picture of the family, agreeing to the divorce. "Thank you," Babe says. At the door, Josh slips away. Babe offers to give back her Chandler shares, but JR can't listen any longer and walks away. Later, Tad finds him in the entryway and JR turns his anger on him. Tad tries to be understanding, but the anger over Krystal's baby comes to the surface. "Where is the little boy I loved?" he says, wondering if JR knows who he is any longer. Without waiting for an answer, Tad heads upstairs. JR goes to the garden, and calls his lawyer. He tells him to proceed, giving Babe anything she wants. Before hanging up, JR tells the man to stall it, though, as long as possible! Babe returns to find Josh in the parlor. Again, she asks him to leave. He ignores her request and tries to kiss her! Babe pushes him away. With a sudden change of heart, Josh tells Babe that he's leaving the mansion!

Upstairs, Krystal calls Adam, but can't reach him. Babe comes in, telling her to lie down to rest. Krystal can't concentrate on anything but finding Adam, though. Babe brings her milk and cookies and explains about the impending divorce from JR. "It is what it is," she says, obviously sad about the end of her marriage. Krystal becomes angry, thinking that Babe is trying to convince her to leave Adam! "You couldn't give up on your husband," Krystal says, "I am nowhere near ready to give up on my husband." Babe covers Krystal, asks her to stay in bed for a while and leaves, promising to let her know when Adam gets back. Tad comes in and when Krystal asks about Adam pretends not to know. "What did you do with Adam?" she demands again. Sarcastically, Tad gives options for what might have happened to Adam, but Krystal is like a dog with a bone and won't give up. "Maybe he just left you," Tad suggests, making Krystal more angry. She sits beside him on the bed as Tad tries to apologize and make things right. He doesn't want to take the baby from her, but when Krystal tries to make him agree to allow Adam in the baby's life Tad becomes annoyed. He pulls himself back from the anger, asking Krystal for a truce! Krystal agrees and takes his hand, placing it on her belly as the baby begins to kick!
