JR manages to oust Adam from the company. Erica comes to a decision about Jack - and Barbara! Annie makes Ryan an offer he can't refuse.
At Wildwind, Annie tries on Ryan's ring as he returns. Without a chance to take it off, she hides her hand underneath the covers. Annie makes a decision and tells him to close his eyes. Before she can say anything, Emma interrupts. Annie invites her into bed for a final story before bed. She tells Emma the story of how Sir Ryanovich unlocked Queen Annabelle's heart - with oatmeal! She pulls her hand from beneath the covers, showing Ryan that she is wearing his ring! "Ryan and I are getting married," Annie tells him and Emma. Excited, Ryan begins bouncing Emma on the bed and then sends her off to spread the word. Ryan kisses her and Annie begins to cry. Emma returns with Jonathan, Kathy, Julia and Jamie who are all excited at the news. Amanda, Di and Dell arrive and toast the newly engaged couple. The other residents leave Ryan and Annie alone to celebrate their engagement. They wake the next morning, blissfully happy. Outside on the terrace, the other Wildwind residents are enjoying breakfast when Derek arrives with a warrant to search the grounds. Janet has escaped from the mental institution!
At the Montgomery home, Lily is rearranging things that Barbara has left in the wrong place when Sean returns home. He tells her to get used to it and opens a beer. Sean tells Lily that Barbara is in the picture - forever! Lily is unnerved at the thought of Barbara moving in permanently and makes a decision - she is 18 and has a job and is moving out! Aidan arrives to check on her and is stunned to learn that she wants to leave her home. He asks about the other plan she was going to come up with to oust Barbara. "Another plan isn't viable because Sean says that Barbara has already won," she says and gathers her things to leave. Aidan stops her, telling her to wait until the next day, and talk things over with Jack. Lily, though, wants out of the house before Barbara returns. Aidan convinces her to wait and Lily heads to her room. Sean thanks Aidan for his help, and Aidan asks a favor. He has to go to Philadelphia, can Sean watch Lily for the night? Sean agrees and Aidan leaves. The following morning, Sean wakes the to find Lily gone from the house! Meanwhile, on stakeout in Philly, Aidan runs in to a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Lily!
At the yacht, Erica walks in hoping to talk to Jack. She sees he and Barbara in bed together and is too shocked to leave right away. Jack opens his eyes, unsure if this is really Erica or another figment of his imagination! She turns to go and Jack realizes exactly what he has done! Dressing quickly he tries to leave, but Barbara wakes before he can. She tells him not to worry, things are just fine now. What happened between them was only comfort and doesn't have to mean anything, unless he wants it to. Jack could care less what she says and continues getting dressed. Telling him that she has her own plans, Barbara tells him, "I just need to figure some things out and then I'll leave. If you really want me to." She invites him to come back to bed, just to sleep and Jack goes along with her!
At Josh's apartment, he watches the end of Erica's talk show and hearing her talk about a future guest makes him wonder if he has been too hard on his family. Erica arrives, looking for Bianca but she isn't there. Josh asks if there is anything he can do. Erica doesn't want to talk to Josh and tries to skirt the issue, but reluctantly tells him that things are over with Jeff and with Jack. She wonders if he is happy, now that her own life is falling apart the way his was a few weeks earlier. Josh pours them both a glass of water, telling Erica that he isn't happy, but he does want her to be. Erica asks about he and Babe, and Josh lets her know that Babe is still at the Chandler manse. Mother and son bond over wanting people that they can't have. She mentions Bianca's Paris apartment and Josh wonders why she is going to run away. Erica says she isn't running! "Thank you for getting me back on track," she says and leaves the apartment. Adam arrives a few minutes later with an offer for Josh!
The next morning, Erica arrives back at the yacht in a French maid's uniform, complete with a long blonde wig and a phoney French accent!
At Chandler Enterprises, JR has called an executive board meeting - to vote Adam out of the company! Adam arrives at the last second and interrupts the vote. He tells the board that he is fine, but the board members aren't convinced that he isn't crazy, especially after seeing him naked on the board room table only a few days before. "I'm doing what is best for Chandler Enterprises," JR says, interrupting Adam's speech. Calling JR an alcoholic and an attempted murderer, Adam asks who they would rather have running the company. JR dismisses the board, asking for a moment alone with Adam. Adam goes on the attack with JR, telling him that he is nothing more than an addict who will never amount to anything! JR takes it all in but doesn't break. "Your addiction is power, money," he says, telling Adam that he is no better and no less than what Adam made him. With Babe and Krystal's proxy votes, he has more than enough votes to get rid of Adam. But, if Adam agrees to back off, JR promises to call off the vote. Adam can't believe it and swears that he will never give up control of his company, and he's ready for a fight! "What you want is what I built," he says, telling JR not to hide behind Krystal, Babe and little A. "I'm going to destroy this place and I'm going to have a good time doing it," Adam says. JR tells Adam that he has ruined all of his children and Adam finally loses it, grabbing him by the lapels and shaking him. "Go ahead and hit me," JR says, "You've done everything else to me." Adam releases JR and listens to him, even though he doesn't believe the things that JR says. JR tells Adam that if he backs off on the war with Krystal, he will stop the vote. "No, I want a vote," Adam says! JR invites the board back inside and calls for the vote. It's a tie - 3 to remove Adam and 3 to keep him - leaving JR to cast the deciding vote! Sadly, JR tells the group that the motion is carried and Adam is out. "This meeting is now adjourned," he says. Adam leaves the office.
At the Chandler mansion, Krystal calls the institution to get Adam released but can't get past an attendant. Tad comes in, telling her that Adam needs the time to relax. Babe comes in, asking where JR is, but neither have seen him. Krystal tells Tad that sending Adam to the institution was wrong but as far as Tad is concerned having Adam anywhere near his child is just waiting for disaster to strike. Babe intercedes between them, telling Tad to back off and Krystal to understand that Tad has parental rights! Tad hands Krystal a paper, he's gotten a court date! She can't believe what he has done and angrily tells him that it won't work - she and Adam will raise their child! More angry than ever, Tad tells her that she won't win. "If you want my baby to have a good life then stop this," Krystal says. Tad reminds her that he is the baby's father and he has rights. Telling him that she isn't part of the Martin/Chandler feud, Krystal tells him that she won't let Charlotte be part of it either. Tad leaves and Babe follows, asking him to calm down and think things through. She asks him to back off, just a little, for the baby's sake. Tad heads upstairs. Returning to Krystal, Babe asks her to understand Tad's side of things but Krystal cuts her off. She doesn't want to hear anything about Tad being the baby's father! "I thought I could count on you," Krystal says! Babe won't back down, though. She wants Krystal to face the fact that Tad isn't going anywhere! Krystal leaves to be alone. JR returns, telling Babe about voting Adam out of Chandler Enterprises. She wonder what Adam will do to retaliate. The next morning, Tad, Babe, JR, Colby and Krystal are enjoying breakfast when Adam finally returns home - with his new son! It's Josh!
