Tad and Ryan arrive at Zach's office wanting to know if there is anything new on Zarf. "We got another message from the killer," Zach says and hands a Fusion flyer to Ryan. All of the faces are crossed out - except Kendall and Babe!

At the Cortland mansion, Kendall confronts J.R. She has come here to forgive him - if he can take it.

At the hospital, Josh tells Bianca he will always be there for her. Erica arrives wanting to know who has been hurt. Was it Kendall? Or Babe?

In the courtyard, Babe tells Zarf/Zoe he needs to come forward. Zarf is shaking with fright and wants Babe to help him get away. "Make me disappear!"

At ConFusion, Jonathan tells Amanda to go home, but she refuses. Amanda defends Zarf to two customers. Upset, Jonathan confronts her. Amanda tells him Babe said Zarf was innocent. Babe?!? "Babe Chandler doesn't know squat."

At the hospital Erica discovers Babe was not hurt. "That's terrible," Erica said. Josh wants to know what is terrible - that it wasn't Babe or that there was another attack. "You know the answer to that!" Josh isn't so sure. Bianca interrupts, telling Erica that Josh was at Dani's apartment, he saved her life, and Zarf is a suspect. Erica insists this is Babe's fault. Babe brought "that rock star" to Pine Valley, but Josh blames himself. Erica delivers a message from Babe: Josh should stay away. "She wants no part of you. Mission accomplished"

Back at the mansion, Kendall tells JR everyone's problems go back to his "skanky little wife" and tells him not to defend Babe. JR only remembers one thing before he "stepped out for some air" - that he hated losing Kendall and Bianca as his friends! Kendall is skeptical. JR pulls Kendall to him. He knows her secret, "Neither of us forgives."

At the office Zach tells Tad that Zarf seemed to recognize his mother's picture at the hospital! Ryan wants to know what Zarf's connection is to the Cambius family. There is none, Tad tells him.

Outside the mansion, Babe tries to comfort Zarf. She knows the vials don't hold V-Tach so what could be so terrible? Zarf tells her his destiny is in the vials. "It will kill me!"

Back at ConFusion, Amanda tells Jonathan it is too soon for him to be back at the club. Jonathan agrees. He doesn't belong there. Even more upset, Jonathan leaves the club.

Outside Babe continues encouraging Zarf to come forward. She will help him because he is strong. They won't understand, they will only "freak at the freak".

Inside the mansion, JR thinks Kendall wants to dump Babe from Fusion and then run her out of town! Kendall doesn't care what JR thinks, but before she can explain a computerized voice says "Motion detected". Curious, Kendall opens the computer to find that JR has bugged Josh's room. "You're spying on MY brother because YOUR wife is a tramp?"

Outside, Babe manages to get Zarf off the cold ground and leads him to a bench. Zarf believes Bianca has turned on him. Babe disagrees and insists Bianca will come around. If he can just hold on, she will be there with him. She holds out her hand. "Let's go." And Zarf takes it.

Back at the hospital Erica insists Josh needs to know the truth about Babe - she burst in to Erica's suite at the Valley Inn! "What about Uncle Jack?" Bianca asks. One thing at a time, Erica tells her, insisting Josh is wasting his time. Bianca agrees. Babe has told her as well that she wants to stay with JR. Josh walks away, frustrated. At least Kendall is trying to help him, that's why she is trying to intervene on his behalf with JR. Erica and Bianca are stunned.

Back at Zach's office, Tad tells Zach he won't stop investigating Zarf but it may be time to look at other suspects. Tad tells them about Zarf's past, and says there is nothing connecting him to the Cambius family. Zach believes the killer has a target - and it's just a matter of time before the killer goes after Kendall!

At the mansion, Kendall reveals that Josh is the one who saved JR's life. JR doesn't care, he needs to use Josh to get the dirt on Babe because without evidence she will take his son! JR signed his parental rights for little Adam over to Babe. Babe bursts in to the library. "What's going on here?" That's a good question - and Kendall has the answer. Making herself comfortable on JR's desk, Kendall hints at JR's computer obsession and then drops a bombshell - Babe is spending all of her free time with homicidal maniac - Zarf!

Back at the office Ryan tells Tad about the file of women they found in Zarf's apartment but none of the women were from Fusion and both he and Zach agree on one thing: Zarf should be behind bars!

In the mansion, Kendall tells JR that Zarf is the number one suspect in the Fusion murders. Zarf is gentle, Babe insists, telling Kendall to leave. JR asks Babe to leave so he can talk to Kendall. Unless Kendall wants JR to tell Babe she was here on Josh's behalf, she'll keep quiet about the computer!

Somewhere in the mansion, Babe takes coffee and a blanket to Zarf. He tells her everyone will turn away from her. "Then they'll be wrong about both of us."

Back at the hospital, Josh continues to defend Babe to Erica and Bianca. "If you're her friend, you're her friend." Bianca interrupts Josh. Zarf must be with Babe! Josh runs from the hospital.

Back at the club, Dell tells Amanda Jonathan's hang-ups should not be hers. Meanwhile inside the boathouse, Jonathan rages.

At the mansion, JR has a proposition for Kendall. They should work together! Josh can have Babe, just as soon as he has enough dirt on her.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Erica and Bianca argue over Josh. Bianca leaves and alone in the corridor, Erica leans against the wall. A hand reaches from behind a door to grab her! Dr. Jeff Martin pulls Erica into an empty room and kisses her!

At the loft, Bianca gets off the elevator to find her bodyguard confronting someone at her front door. He steps aside to reveal - Maggie!

At the boathouse, Jonathan continues to rage. He stops short as someone approaches. It's Lily!

At Zach's office Tad reveals Babe's theory. What if the ribbons aren't part of the pattern? Zach flashes back to his childhood. "He thinks I killed her." Zach stares into space. "I didn't do it."

At the mansion, Kendall agrees to JR's deal as Josh bursts in to the library looking for Babe. JR tells him to leave but Josh won't listen. Babe isn't safe! Josh opens a panel in the wall and begins to search. Down a short corridor he finds Babe - alone with Zarf!
