• Bianca meets the "real" Zarf.
• Tad demands information from Zach.
• Kendall and Josh disagree.
At Fusion, Bianca and Kendall review 2006 and look towards '07. Bianca announces that she's heard from Maggie, who'd heard about the murders and was checking on Bianca's safety. But Maggie doesn't want to get back together.
Kendall takes Bianca's side and calls Maggie "crazy" for rejecting a woman as "fantastic" as Bianca. Bianca tells Kendall about her date. Kendall is shocked when Bianca reveals that her date is…Zarf.
Zarf? Kendall can't believe that, and calls Zarf a "raving lunatic" and, furthermore, he's a man! Bianca says there's something about Zarf that attracts and touches her.
As music softly plays in the background, a woman, her face unseen, is sitting at her dressing table, carefully applying makeup.
Tad shows Zach the intelligence he's collected. Zach demands to know who the killer is. Tad says he's sorry, but he doesn't know yet. He has determined that Zach has "more enemies than Caligula." Tad then recites a litany of the many questionable things Zach has done, under a variety of names. The only way he can find the murderer is more time—or for Zach to be honest with him and tell him what he's after. If not, Tad can't help him.
Tad says that the killer is personal and meticulous, and unless Zach tells him what he knows, the killing is going to continue! As they argue, Jon enters and asks Zach if he knows who killed his sister. He begs Zach to tell him what he knows, but Zach insists that at the moment they don't know anything.
A happy Kathy is celebrating New Year's Eve at Wildwind. After she goes to try on the new outfit Amanda has purchased for her, Julia and Jamie discuss Linda's prognosis, which is still questionable.

Bianca is rushing to get ready for her date with Zarf. When she opens the door expecting to see Zarf, an elegantly dressed woman is standing there.
Josh and Kendall are arguing about whether to reveal Emma's paternity to Ryan. Kendall insists it's her call to make, and Ryan will not be told. They begin to argue, and Josh yells that he can't keep this information from Ryan and Annie. At that moment Ryan walks in with Spike, and wants to know what's going on.
