All My Children: Where is Marcy Walker?

Tuesday, September 08 2009

Marcy Walker (WCHS TV)
Soaps.com readers may be wondering what Marcy Walker is up to these days, since Jamie Luner has taken over the role of Liza Colby on All My Children.

It seems Marcy, who also played the well-known role of Eden Capwell on Santa Barbara, has left acting for a different sort of role - a minister of a church!

Marcy left her AMC role in 2004 and began teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School in New York. Later, she beat out 60 other applicants for a position as Children's Minister at a rural North Carolina church, and she and her husband, Doug Smith relocated. Marcy now goes by her husband's last name.

Marcy's church is the Lake Forest Community Church in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Soaps.com is happy for Marcy and wishes her all the best on her chosen path, though we miss her in Daytime! Feel free to leave your best wishes for Marcy with Soaps.com in the comment section below!

I remember Marcy as Liza Colby years ago. She was a superb actress, however I was so overjoyed and pleased when I read here that Ms. Walker has chosen a path serving God. Now that is success! Jesus is everything! May God richly bless you and yours Marcy today and always. 1 Corinthians 13:12-13
