ABC Daytime has signed some big names in the music industry this past year, but the addition of Celine Dion to the All My Children set - even for one day! - is a very big deal.
Celine will appear on the November 21st episode, promoting her new album.
Sources tell Soaps.com that Celine will appear as herself during a taping of Erica Kane's "New Beginnings" talk show. She will sing the title track from her new CD called "Taking Chances" on the show. The album hits shelves November 13th and already has people talking. You can purchase the CD on Celine's website here; there is also a CD/DVD combo available!
AMC's executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers said in a statement, "[Celine's] appearance with Erica Kane and her musical performance is a great treat for our audience. I can't think of a better way to ring in the holiday season than with the angelic sounds of Celine Dion."
This is the latest musical guest for ABC Daytime. Earlier this year, Nelly Furtado made a guest appearance to One Life to Live; Timbaland followed suit with a visit to Llanview in October. And ABC isn't the only daytime network getting in on the act. This month Enrique Iglesias will make a singing appearance on The Young and the Restless.
