Sad news. I love Aidan Turner. He brought humor, romance(when writers let him) and adventure. That English accent is so enticing. It's AMC's loss. You're right AMC Girl first Walt now Aidan, what a shame. These are two fine actors. To the writiers & execs: Be careful who you weed out during the move, you may lose loyal fans.

I am sad because I always liked Aidan the actor and the AMC character. I especially liked it when he and Tad worked together and also liked him with Greenlee. The writers have let Mr. Turner and the viewers down. I hope he gets a plum role on prime time!!!

i liked aidan turner alao. as the other poster said, he brought so much romance, humer, adventure and it's all sooo true. there letting all the talented actors go to save money. but' please remember' it's brian frons who decides who goes and gives the pink silps, not the writers.
he also tells the vets what scrip there going to play.
frons goes over the storylines the writers draw up and he has the final say what scrip they have to play.
i will miss aidan turner he was one great actor who brought so muchto the show. pretty soon there will be no soaps. GH is next to be cancelled. i read that after the emmys, there ratings went way down" lower then there sisters soaps. they really droped to an all time low and is sinking down. i dont think it even maters any more weather or not if they bring back in all the good writers.
it's the sign of the times and it's just time for them all to be retired. i will say this' i bet AMC will get cancelled after the move to LA.
good luck aidan turner'' i hope you get picked up on prime time. i will be sure to tune in.

Aidan has a new baby so he probably doesn't want to move to LA. I agree he is was one hot character who brought alot of romance and mystery to the show. I am going to miss him on AMC it's their loss. I wish him the best of luck in what ever he does.

What do you mean storyline dictated if they are thinking of bringing back Greenly there is your storyline this is crap
Why dont you cut back on Cameron Matthison sence's do we really need that much of Ryan shoved down our throuts NO!!!!!
I am going to miss Adian Turner I like his character he is sweet and caring and great to look at GOOD LUCK Adian you will be missed.

i don't want aidan to leave the show he was my favorite character and he was so funny and cool he had so many good reasons to be on all my children i wish he can stay on the show he was on of the best actors on all my children and i liked him and his girlfriends he was the biggest coolest guy on the show.he was alson handsome.

With him being revealed as the murderer of Stuart Chandler...Oops, did I say that?...that is reason enough for the character to be either killed by law enforcement in an attempt to get away or locked away in prison for a very long time.

As with all residents of Pine Valley, Aidan can always come back or they can recast the character later.

Aiden is the reason I watch the show now, and I am really upset that they are writing him off. They've given him a crap storyline for the past year, and yet the irritating charactor Ryan keeps showing up on screen, forcing me to fast forward through half the show! I've been watching AMC off and on since I was 7 years old- it's my Mom's soap too. Well, after 30 years of AMC, I'm finally angry enough to stop watching! Shame on you writers. Aiden has always been far too good for daytime TV, and I hope he becomes the next James Bond!
