Denise Vasi Talks About Randi's Future on All My Children! Wednesday, May 27 2009

In recent weeks, Denise Vasi (Randi) has been virtually absent from Pine Valley life! After eloping with Frankie, the character seemed to be hiding out from the world, but that is about to change!

Soaps.com had the chance to catch up with Denise in an email question and answer session this week! What did we learn? That this summer is going to be filled with D R A M A for Randi, Frankie and the entire Hubbard clan!

Soaps.com: "Since getting married, Randi's life hasn't exactly been a honeymoon. Do you think she is standing up to the pressures well so far?"

Denise Vasi: "There are moments when you'll see Randi feel like she has no other choice but to quit. However, she definitely pulls it all together, regains her strength and hangs tough. It's very difficult for her to be so close to her husband while still finding it so hard to really reach him."

Soaps.com: How are Randi and Frankie dealing with his injury?

Denise Vasi: "As best they can!! It's really hard on both of them and I believe the audience will be able to relate to both sides. You'll definitely see the dynamic of the relationship shift, as Frankie tries to push Randi away. It's Randi's turn to be the stronger partner."

Soaps.com: "There have been rumors about a relationship developing between Jesse and Randi. Can you give us a few teasers about what is to come for Randi?"

Denise Vasi: "You know what they say about rumors – don't believe the hype! Ha ha. Jesse and Randi already have a relationship, we'll see it change - in the form of strengthening."

Soaps.com: "Do you have any other projects in the works outside of AMC?"

Denise Vasi: "Honestly, this summer's story line is not going to allow me much time to do anything outside of the show. My full focus will be onAMC. We've got some great stories coming up!"

Soaps.com has learned that Cornelius Smith, Jr. (Frankie) will be returning to the canvas in early June! Frankie has been off the screen since being redeployed to Iraq in late March, just a few days after Frankie and Randi tied the knot!
