Jamie Luner joins All My Children Cast!!

Soaps.com sends out a big welcome to Jamie Luner, who will take on the role of Liza Colby (yep, Tad's ex and Colby's mom) in April!

Jamie is best known for her roles on the Primetime soap opera "Melrose Place" and "Savannah". She has also starred in several made for television movies, including "The Perfect Marriage", "Nuclear Hurricane" and "Stranger in My Bed".

The role of Liza was originated by Marcy Walker and throughout her tenure in Pine Valley Liza was quite the troublemaker! Liza has had flings with Tad, Adam (she married and divorced him three times!) Ryan and Jake, to name just a few.



An official airdate for Jamie has not been released but Soaps.com has learned she will first appear in late April or early May. Welcome, Jamie!

I love Jamie Luner. This ought to be interesting, especially if they have the character doing the things that Liza use to be hated for. I think I'm going to love whatever storyline they put her way.

Think she is too young to play Liza. She should be the same age as Tad, Jesse and Angie.

Wish we could have Marcy - no offense to this new actress who I don't know. The success will depend on the story line and how she interacts with all these people. Remember all the trouble we went through trying to get used to the new Greenlee. All those phony flashbacks that were just confusing to longtime viewers. I wish her well and look forward to the new story line.

Now, if Janet from another planet would return,now that Liza is back , then the storylines might be worth watching. Anything but David and stupid Krystal, a drunk JR which is not suprising for anyone, ryan/kendall/reese/zack, get on with it, bring something interesting to the storyline.

Your wasting my time, Scott Chandler,(boring)a fake Liza, and Kendall sleeping with Ryan.. I'm almost done. What are the writer's thinking? Oh well they have lost their marbles.

Now, I did like this actress on the show "Profiler" from years ago. So, I guess I am willing to give her a chance as Liza. Hopefully she will play about 10 years OLDER than she is IRL.

I think the writers would get higher ratings if they would bring back the original actors!!! Like Brooke English where is she? Did she actually retired from AMC or let go?

Well, the orginal "Liza" is out of acting. And hence a recast was needed.

Let's see how it plays out. I always love 'Liza' character. I hope she hooks with Jake Martin again since last decade they never had a chance

Just looking at her I think she would have been more believable as Skye Chandler.

David's been talking to someone on the phone a lot and we don't know who. If she's going to come back and side with David over Adam, I'd rather not!
