Two New Faces Join All My Children!!

Tuesday, October 07 2008

Shannon Kane (Soaps.com)
Things are starting to heat up in Pine Valley, fans, and you know what that means - new faces! Soaps.com has learned that two women from Jesse's past are headed to his present. And bringing problems with them!

The first addition is Shannon Kane; she has been hired to play Natalia. We caught a glimpse of Natalia on Friday, October 3, when she was hanging around Jesse's apartment. She also met Angie but pretended not to know her.

Shannon is a newcomer to Daytime television. She has appeared on episodes of "CSI: Miami" and "Entourage" and for one episode played Monica on The Young and The Restless in 2007.

The second addition is Laura Koffman (ex-Cassie, One Life To Live). She will play Rebecca, the woman Jesse had an affair with during his 20 year absence; Jesse admitted his involvement with another woman to Angie, but has obviously left out a few things - possibly his daughter, Natalia. That would explain why Natalia showed up out of nowhere and seemed to know Jesse and seemed so interested in Angie, wouldn't it?

Her first airdate is set for October 28.

Laura Koffman is no stranger to Daytime fans. She played Cassie Cramer Reynolds on OLTL from 1991 - 1999 and then off and on from 2001 - 2004. Some fans may also recognize her as ex-Lindsay from "Another World"; she took on the role of Lindsey in 1991 before being cast as a Llanview Cramer.

Will Angie be able to forgive and move forward? We'll have to wait and see, but it sure should be a dramatic storyline to play!

Congratulations, and welcome, to both Shannon and Laura from Soaps.com!

This is goingto be hotter than the fourth of July! Though as the product of two gorgeous people of different races , couln't they have found an actress more reflective of that??!!!

Whew. For a minute there I thought you were bringing back Yvonne. That girl there was trouble, trouble, trouble for both Angie and Jessie.

I'm glad they did not bring yvonne back. Vanessa Bell Calloway is a great actress, but she was causing trouble for angie & Jessie and then to bring a child from that mess,,, oh, please!

I hate it when new people are brought in and then take right out again. Sometimes I wonder what drugs these writers are smoking. It seems that no one can be happy for more than one episode of the show. I have watched AMC since the very beginning and have gotten so confused lately with the plots that I have almost turned it off never to watch it again.
Then there is the Babe thing. I just got used to Amanda Baker in the Roll of Babe and now she is gone.
Get Hayward out of here. He has been nothing but trouble. If you can't bring a character back to do other things than disrupt families, don't bring them back at all.
Why hasn't there been something about Myrtle? She died over a month ago but nothing has been done to incorporate her death into a departure from the show? Hopefully I will get some conversation going on each of these subjects.

By the way, Good casting for Natalia and Rebecca. Let's have a Happy Thanksgiving for everyone.
