Petey's Got Mail!

Amanda corners Krystal and tries to convince her that she misunderstood Jake and Frankie. Krystal doesn't buy it and Amanda gives in. She begs Krystal not to tell David the truth. She accuses Amanda of using JR for his money; she insists JR is only protecting the baby from David so that he doesn't ruin the baby's life. Krystal doesn't believe Amanda's accusations, even when Amanda says David is still after Little A! Jake comes over and backs up Amanda, saying the minute David finds out there is a Hayward bun in the oven he'll drop Krystal like a hot potato! Kendall goes to Zach and finally realizes she didn't mention him in her speech. He says he isn't surprised – because she still hasn't come back to him! He leaves for the casino. Kendall tells Erica things are falling apart. Tad sits down with Taylor, who is upset that she doesn't understand where Brot is coming from. Tad advises her to give Brot time and space because they are rebuilding their trust and love. Krystal finally agrees to keep Amanda's secret but says she is only doing it because the baby is keeping JR from drinking! She makes them promise JR will never know the truth. JR waves at Amanda from across the room. JR joins them as Krystal leaves. Amanda says they were talking about cravings and water weight. He says they can leave soon and goes to see Kendall. David corners Amanda, reminding her again of her deal and obligations. She hands him a check – for the same amount that he gave her! David says this doesn't change anything. JR thanks Kendall for the donation. She leaves the benefit and Erica follows. Kendall says she is going after Zach! Erica and David chat about the benefit and then he turns to watch Amanda with Jake.

Taylor goes to the roof, where Brot is. She apologizes for not understanding him and he apologizes for being so rough. She says he gives her hope every day that he is around. Brot kisses her.

A Birthday Surprise!

At the hospital Taylor calls Jake over to congratulate him about the job news. Brot is there; all of them say how much the hospital has helped them heal. Jake continues down the hall and runs into Angie with Randi and Frankie at the admit desk. He tells them to meet him back there in an hour for the rest of the plan. David comes to the desk and angrily confronts Frankie about what is going on with Jake and Angie. He vows to beat them at their game; Frankie says he is paranoid and walks away.

Jesse meets Natalia at ConFusion to celebrate his birthday. She gives him a coffee mug and then says the real gift is that she and Rebecca are going to move out of his home so that he and Angie can have time alone. Jesse is touched. She gives him a card from Rebecca – a silly, limerick card. Natalia asks about Angie's gift and is disappointed for him because Angie seems to have forgotten his birthday. She starts to call Angie but Jesse stops her, saying he is fine. She tries to light his birthday cupcake but Jesse doesn't want that kind of attention. She kisses him instead. After a while Natalia asks about David and Krystal but Jesse changes the subject. Natalia keeps questioning him so Jesse leaves the table. Taylor and Brot arrive for dinner. He talks about how great he feels since taking on the hospital job. Angie, Frankie, Randi and Jake walk in with a huge cake – Tad is hiding inside! They sing 'For He's A Jolly Good Fellow', embarrassing Jesse. Tad, wearing a silly cop uniform, starts to dance to stripper music! The crowd hoots and hollers, especially when Angie joins in! Then, Tad crawls across the bar and kisses Taylor! David and Krystal arrive but leave just as quickly when they see the party. Angie is thrilled that they pulled off the surprise. Rebecca's doctor calls – and reports that Rebecca has suddenly passed away! Jesse is shocked. He tries to lead Natalia away but she won't go. "I'm sorry, Baby, but she's gone," he says. Natalia is stunned and runs away. Jesse reports that Rebecca stopped her treatments and then follows Natalia. Jake and Tad come over; Angie gives them the news. Tad follows Jesse as Angie tries to figure out what could have happened. Frankie tells her about Rebecca's request. "I had no idea it would happen so soon," he says. Angie can't believe she didn't catch on.

Mamma Drama!

At the hospital David tells Zach that Kendall's heart and other organs are working well but there is still no indication that she'll wake up. Zach leaves. Brot sees David and tells him that miracles can happen. As David looks over Kendall, Brot asks medical questions. David questions him about the coma he was in; Brot says he remembers the dreams he had. "Waking up, it almost felt like dying," Brot says. David wonders if Kendall wants to wake up. Later on Bianca and Greenlee arrive; both are missing Kendall and wonder if she would have set Erica straight. As they are talking, Kendall's eyes begin to open!

An Uncomfortable Moment...

At the hospital Zach asks Frankie how Kendall is doing. Before he can answer David comes over and tells him to butt out! Frankie walks away. Zach is upset but David insists Frankie would have given him false hope! Zach leaves. David sees Brot and questions him. Brot tells him about the war. David says he won't get special treatment because he is a veteran. David leaves. Frankie comes over and warns Brot not to trust David.

Amanda goes to the hospital where she bumps into David. He questions her about ConFusion and then says he saw her with JR on the yacht. She tells him to back off and then feels sick again. She is ready to leave when David finds her again. She calls him a stalker. Brot brings her prescription and she leaves. David questions Brot, implying that Amanda is a junkie. Brot says she was just getting vitamins and hurries away. JR arrives, searching for Amanda. David finds him but JR won't listen until David says, "I know Amanda's pregnant!"

What The Doctor Wants...

At the hospital Emma asks Brot if his burns hurt. He says they used to but they don't any longer. She lets Frankie fix her burns. Greenlee thanks him for helping and then takes Emma home. Frankie walks them out as Taylor tells Brot what a great thing he did. He apologizes for biting her head off about the casino job; she says that was her fault for not letting him decide on his own. Frankie returns and tells Brot that the hospital needs men like him! "The hospital has openings for orderlies," he says. Brot accepts! He goes to administration and Taylor wonders if this is a good idea. Frankie insists that they need Brot. Brot returns and says he got the job! Frankie returns to work. Brot decides to stick around the hospital to get his bearings. He asks Taylor if they can celebrate later on; she accepts his offer.

At ConFusion Jake asks if Amanda is afraid David is the father; Amanda admits she is. David walks in with Krystal, weirding her out. She tries to leave but Jake says she can't run each time he shows up or he'll get curious and dig into her life. David watches Amanda closely, making Krystal wonder what is going on with him. He says Amanda is entertainment and orders a drink for Amanda! The waiter delivers a bottle of champagne to Amanda as David comes over. Jake spars with him about the hospital. Krystal comes over to tell David their dinner is ready. Jake tells Krystal not to mix booze and pills; she says she isn't taking the pills any longer. Jake tells Amanda to fake having a drink but she accidentally spills the flute of champagne and runs out. David watches closely. Jake is at the bar alone when Taylor walks in. Seeing David watching them Jake leads Taylor to a table across the room. She tells him about Brot's new job and Jake tells her about running into Brot at the casino. She wants to be mad at him but can't. As they talk, Jake says he was prepared for her love for Brot, but he still can't get past what might have been between them! He turns to leave, runs into Brot and wishes him the best. Brot thanks him for the harsh words at the casino. He goes to Taylor and hugs her. Jake watches and then leaves quickly.

I Remember!

Zach meets Brot at the casino. He asks Brot to take over the security department for the casino! Brot is shocked and wonders if Taylor put Zach up to the job offer. "I don't give handouts," Zach says and leaves. Brot thinks about things. The patrons at the bar stare at him. Brot leaves a message for Zach, turning down the job offer. Taylor arrives and tells Brot that she did suggest him for the job. He says he doesn't need her help and turns to leave. "All you see here are perfect, happy people. They don't need me messing things up like a freak show," he declares. She says she was just trying to help but he won't listen. She leaves. Brot orders a drink at the bar and Jake arrives. Seeing that Brot is still feeling sorry for himself Jake tells Brot to suck it up and stop acting like his life is over. Zach returns and runs into Reese. She asks about Kendall; Zach says he'll go by the hospital later and gets upset when Reese questions him further. He turns away but she won't leave him alone. "What is going on?" she asks. Zach admits he is afraid Kendall won't wake up or won't be the same.
