CASSANDRA FOSTER'S HISTORY
Cassandra was adopted by Angie Hubbard Foster and then-husband Jacob Foster. She arrived in town very curious about Angie's renewed love for Jesse and carried with her a toy elephant that Angie got from the police station the day Jesse died. Inside was a diamond wanted by the criminal Papel and he began targeting Cass and the Hubbards to get it back. His plot was uncovered at Jesse and Angie's second wedding. Before things could calm down, Cassandra developed a friendship with Colby and a love interest with Dre.
Over the Fourth of July, the kids went to the Chandler lodge but Colby got drunk and on the way home, they hit something. Too scared to turn back, they kept going. Soon after they learned that Richie Novak had been killed, supposedly in a hit-and-run, on the same road, the same night. The kids began to fall apart. Cassandra tried everything to get Jesse to kick her out so she could escape Pine Valley and possibility of jail. Jesse and Angie finally figured everything out; Dre took the blame but Cassandra still couldn't come to terms with the death or with Jesse and conviced Angie that she would be better off in Paris with Jacob. She left town.

Brot arrives at Angie and Jesse's place and tells them all that Frankie wouldn't come with him. Taylor says she'll go talk to him - it may be easier for him to talk to her since she was over there too. Angie worries to Jesse that Frankie will just take off like he did the last time! Randi gets up and stomps to the door, saying, "Obviously my marriage is over!" She opens the door and runs smack into Frankie's hands - he collapses on the floor in agony! They drag him inside, where Frankie lies on the sofa laughing drunkenly. Angie asks him to stop it - they are all uncomfortable.
Monday, August 25 2008: Who Loves You More?
In her bedroom, Dre tells Cassandra that they can make it on their own. She is excited but scared about their plans because Dre will be skipping out on his bail. Dre says they'll manage and that his father will be fine. Cassandra prepares herself and then goes to talk to Angie and Jesse. She thanks them for being there for her and then says Dre will take her to the airport. Jesse says he'll make sure Dre isn't convicted of Richie's murder. He gives Cassandra a family portrait and hugs her. Angie breaks down. Cass says she won't be gone forever but Angie feels like this goodbye is permanent. They each say, "I love you," and then Cassandra returns to her room. She sees Dre at the window and breaks down. She says she can't leave her family like this but then tries to convince herself that Angie will survive. Dre takes the portrait and says she can't leave her family and he has to trust his father. She says Jesse is on his side, too. They hug.
