Pillow Fight!

Friday, February 08 2008

At the hospital, Angie notices the date: February 8 - Jesse's birthday! She flashes back to their last moments together. Joe brings her back to the present. He asks Angie if she'll come back to the hospital full-time; Angie says she can't. She goes to see Frankie, who asks about Jesse. They talk about Jesse's birthday and a few celebrations they had before he died. Frankie tells her about his vision. Angie says she wishes she could see him again, too. Frankie asks her to take him for a walk and she agrees.

Dr. Nick is working the ER when the medics bring Jesse in. He wakes but is disoriented; the medics try to search his pockets for ID but Jesse lunges away from them. He falls to the floor! The doctors help him up; Jesse says he only has a headache. Dr. Nick says he has to stay in the hospital for a consult - with Dr. Martin! Jesse is taken to a private room. As he is waiting for the doctor to return, Angie and Frankie walk through the waiting area and he hears them talking! He slips from his room into a storage area where he can hide. Inside, he grabs some medical supplies for his head; Julia walks in! He says he was just a little lost and visiting family. She asks for his name but he hurries away. Jesse goes to the cemetery and runs his fingers over his tombstone. He cries for the time he has lost. He brings out the family portrait, talking to Angie. "I never stopped loving you," he whispers and kisses the picture, crying some more.

Tad arrives at Frankie's room, where Angie is checking on him. Frankie is doing very well so Tad asks how Angie is doing. She says she is fine but in the next breath asks who Tad was talking to in the car the night before. Tad clams up. Frankie notices that the family portrait is gone and wonders where it is. Angie says they'll find it and then Tad surprises both by asking for some pictures of Jesse before he died! He says he's reopened an old case that has similarities to Jesse's murder; Frankie has a lot of questions but Tad won't answer. Frankie gets Angie to agree to give him a wheelchair so he and Tad can wander the hospital. While Angie is distracted with a phone call, Frankie tells Tad he has questions about his father. Tad is called away to the phone, too! It's Jesse; he makes Tad promise to keep his secret and hangs up. Angie comes over, says Frankie's wheelchair is on the way and walks off. Tad is wheeling Frankie around the hospital when he asks about Jesse. They pick a quiet spot and Tad tells Frankie a little about Jesse. Opal interrupts them. She chatters about Angie and then she starts in on the Romeo and Juliet qualities that Jesse and Angie had. Frankie is very intrigued by the stories. Opal asks about Jenny, offers her babysitting services and then continues on her way. "You've just been Opalized," Tad says. Frankie brings up Jesse. "I could smell his aftershave, his cologne," Frankie says, asking if there is any chance that Jesse is still alive. Tad reminds him that Jesse died in Angie's arms. Frankie says he knows Tad's new case is somehow related to Jesse! Tad begins pushing Frankie back to his room and runs into Opal as his phone rings. Opal takes over wheelchair duties and Tad answers the phone. His contacts don’t have much news about Jesse, which has Tad very worried.

Frankie wakes, too, and tells her everything will be okay. He asks Angie to tell him about Jesse's death but Angie doesn't want to talk about that. Frankie tells Angie that he is positive Jesse was there but Angie insists it must have only been Jesse's spirit. Frankie convinces Angie to go to a hotel to rest for a while, assuring her that he will be fine.

Angie hurries down the hall to check on Greenlee but Joe - and Tad - stay with Frankie. Angie returns to Greenlee's room, takes her vitals and makes a few notes on her chart. Ryan Has Amnesia!

Friday, February 01 2008

Greenlee has an out of body experience. Kendall and Aidan decide they have to talk to Greenlee, to let her know they aren't giving up. They all return and take turns talking to Greens. Greenlee tries to talk to them but no one can hear her spirit. Jack stays with Greenlee but the others leave. Erica arrives and Greenlee lashes out at her. Erica lashes right back - as a figment of Greenlee's imagination - telling her to fight if she wants to get her life back. Erica says Greenlee will never be happy which makes Greenlee very angry. Erica turns back to Jack. Aidan and Zach walk in to talk to Greenlee. She imagines arguing with Aidan. He says he loves her and needs her to come back to him. Aidan and Jack leave to talk to the doctors but Zach stays behind. Greenlee imagines a conversation with Zach next; he encourages her, saying she is a different girl now than when they first met. "We're bonded for life, so hurry up and get back to yours," he says and turns back to the bed. Jack walks back in and Greenlee apologizes to him for dragging him back to the hospital. He tells her stop with the "Jack" talk and start calling him "Dad". "My Greenlee is a fighter," Jack says and walks out. Kendall is next to come in and sit with Greenlee. She and Greens talk about the day they decided to have a family together; they laugh and talk and even insult one another a little as they remember fighting in the pool and spending time together at the spa. "I'm right here," Kendall says and turns back. Kendall looks at Greens' monitors and yells for help. Angie rushes in. Greenlee's spirit pleads with the doctors to save her, saying she isn't ready to go yet. "I want to live!" she exclaims.

Tad arrives at the hospital and asks Joe how Frankie is. Joe says he is better but they still don't know if Frankie and Greenlee will make it. Tad goes in to see Frankie and tells the kid about Jesse and how much of a fighter he was. Jesse comes around the corner and watches Tad with his son. He disappears around a corner as Angie comes in to see Frankie. She tells Tad how many memories Pine Valley is bringing back and how lonesome she is here without Jesse. Tad says he knows how she feels because he is very lonely without Dixie and Kate. She returns to Greenlee's room. Tad stares at the Hubbard family portrait for a few minutes. Tad turns away from Frankie's bedside and sees Jesse on the other side of the window! Jesse ducks out of the way quickly and Tad runs out of the room.
