Jesse and Angie arrive at the police station, and Jesse sees the photo of him from when he “died in the line of duty.” Derek and Jesse talk about the case, but Jesse is still not convinced that all of the loose ends are tied up. He asks Derek to let him know if anything else pops up about this case. Angie pumps up Jesse to live the rest of their lives together. As they embrace, a procession of cops file into the room, giving Jesse a standing ovation, leaving Jesse and Angie proud and tearful.
It's Really You!
Meanwhile in the airport hangar, shots ring out and Colby falls to the floor! Tad and Adam run to her side! Frankie hurries over to care for Colby. The lights come on and Rob calmly walks out. Colby wakes and they realize she only hit her head. Rob says he followed Tad and Adam to the hangar and pulls out a badge, saying he is an FBI agent who has been looking for Rafael for years! Frankie tells Colby she did a good job. Rob tells everyone about Rafael, code name Papel. Tad doesn't completely trust Rob but Adam does. Rob asks what Rafael wanted but Jesse doesn't know. He borrows Tad's phone to call Angie. She cries as soon as she hears his voice. She drops the phone so Krystal talks to Jesse, who says they'll all be home soon. He hangs up as Derek arrives. Jesse turns to Tad, who tells them about Adam's heart pains. Colby overhears and tries to get Frankie to look Adam over but Adam won't allow it and charges off to talk to Rob. Derek returns to Jesse and they get acquainted. Derek asks him to come by the stationhouse soon to make a full statement. He agrees, then asks Tad to take him home. On the way out, Jesse asks Rob more about Rafael/Papel but Rob says they have never been able to figure out what Papel wanted. Derek fills in Tad and Jesse about Mrs. Remington's death. Rob assures them that even though they don't know what Papel wanted, it is over now. Jesse and Tad leave. Rob turns away and whispers, "This is very personal."
Back at the Martin home Krystal calls Winnifred so she can sing to Jenny over the phone. The silly song makes Angie smile. They talk about Easter, sad because they didn't get to do the traditional family things this year over the holiday. She tells Krystal about the egg hunts she used to put on for Frankie. They start dinner. Frankie, Colby and Adam arrive in a few minutes. Krystal hugs Colby and Angie hugs Frankie, who sings Colby's praises. Krystal tells Adam to sit down and relax before he collapses. She fusses around Adam for a while with Angie and Frankie backing up her doctoring methods. They invite Adam to stay for dinner, shocking him. Tad and Jesse arrive and Angie runs to hug him and begins to cry. Upstairs, Colby spots Rob on the porch. She asks Tad why he hasn't come in yet. On the porch, Rob is talking to a cohort and says he'll convince everyone that he's a good guy. Then, he pulls Mrs. Remington's necklace from his pocket! Inside, Tad and Jesse wonder if they can trust Rob. Just then Rob knocks and Tad invites him in.
Follow The Leader!
Rob, still using the voice distorter, and Rafael are behind the blinding white lights in the hangar when Jesse walks in. He asks about the kids but Rob won't tell him. They argue and finally Rob tells Rafael to go get the kids.
In the plane's cargo area, Frankie is nearly done unscrewing the panel and Colby is becoming more freaked out the closer he gets. A few minutes later a bad guy comes to get them. Frankie hollers at Jesse that they are okay; Jesse promises to get both kids out of this. Jesse tells them to let Frankie and Colby go but Rob won't. When Jesse keeps arguing Rob pulls a gun, cocks the hammer and says it's time for one of the kids to die! Desperate, Jesse says he'll tell them anything if they will just leave Frankie and Colby alone. Rob has the kids taken back to the plane. Jesse tells Rob that the information he wants is hidden and offers to take him to it. "No deal," Rob says. Jesse keeps talking, hoping to get Rob away from the kids; Rob asks who Jesse told about their meeting. Rob asks Jesse to describe exactly what he has hidden; Jesse makes up a story about a case with millions in treasure. Whispering, Rafael tells Rob that Jesse doesn't know anything. Rob disagrees. He says Jesse has all the answers he just doesn't know it yet. Rafael pulls a gun and says there is only one way to get those answers. Rob keeps talking to Jesse and threatens to kill him. Jesse isn't afraid and tells the man that if he is killed they will never find what he has!
Back in the plane, Frankie finally loosens the last screw. "Yes!" he exclaims. They escape from the plane and Frankie leads Colby away from there. She is very scared but Frankie promises to keep her safe. Frankie hears Jesse and Rob talking and goes in that direction. He has Colby throw something across the room to distract the captors. Just then, Tad and Adam bust through the door and Rafael is pushed in front of the lights. Colby runs toward Adam as shots ring out!
Lock and Load, Brother!
Adam is close to the breaking point. Jesse says he'll sacrifice himself for Colby and Frankie; Adam pounces on that but Tad says it is a bad idea. He says that Jesse needs help. Adam agrees; he says they all go or none of them go! Tad tells Jesse to focus on the kidnapper while he and Adam get the kids. Jesse doesn't trust Adam to stick with the plan but Tad insists that they work together. The kidnapper calls; Tad doesn't recognize Rob's distorted voice. Tad hands the phone to Jesse and Rob tells him to meet them at the airport - alone. Jesse hangs up and fills in Tad and Adam. "Lock and load, compadre," he says and hands Adam a gun. Adam asks how they will save Colby; Jesse says they won't have to because Frankie-the-soldier will. Jesse instructs Tad to come onto the airstrip on foot in fifteen minutes and then leaves. Impatient, Adam tells Tad they need to leave now but Tad insists they wait. Adam brings up Kate, wondering how Tad can be sure he'll find Colby when he can't even find Kate! Tad warns Adam to back off. A minute later Adam brings a locket with Colby's picture out; Tad has the same locket. He promises to bring Colby home. Adam and Tad finally leave. In the car they argue about how fast Adam is driving. Adam has chest pains and loses control!
Back in the seating area, Rob holds up Mrs. Remington's necklace and watches it. Rafael reports in that Jesse has arrived. Jesse goes inside the hangar and calls out but no one answers. After a few minutes several lights flash on, blinding him!
Photographic Memories...
Tad hangs up with Jesse and Adam demands to know what is going on. Tad won't tell him about the kidnapping, saying it is only his case. He sends Dre on a wild goose chase to Ren and Corrinna's. With Adam distracted by a phone call from the office he tells Krystal the truth and she nearly loses it. Adam returns from his phone call and asks what is really going on. Tad still won't say anything. He leaves, saying he'll look for Colby and work on his case. Adam turns on Krystal and begs her to tell him what is going on with Colby and Tad. Krystal tries to keep her distance and Tad's secret but she can't. When he kneels and begs her for answers, Krystal tells him about the kidnapping. Adam walks out of the mansion to find Colby.
At the Martin home, Jesse breaks down. He is about to run back to the warehouse, alone, when Angie stops him. "If you walk out that door, I won't take you back again," she says. Angry, Jesse asks if she'll feel the same if he stays and Frankie is hurt. Angie tells him who Colby is and says they need to call the cops. Still, Jesse wants to go alone so he can trade his life for Frankie's! Jesse kisses her and then runs for the door but Tad is there to stop him. He tells Jesse that they will figure this out together. Angie grabs her coat and orders both men to stay at the house until she returns from the hospital. She is going to look through the security tapes! When she is gone Tad tells Jesse that he won't let him leave alone. Just then Adam breaks in the door and demands to know where Colby is. He sees Jesse and asks, "What does a dead man want with my daughter?" Tad says he and Jesse are working together and the men after Jesse have Colby. Adam rambles on, wondering why Tad didn't keep Colby safe. He calls Derek; Jesse grabs the phone and breaks it. Then, he promises to get Colby home safe. "I'll bargain with my life," he says.
