JESSE HUBBARD'S HISTORY
Jesse Hubbard came to Pine Valley in 1982 to protect Jenny Gardner. This put him in opposition to Liza Colby who wanted to drive Jenny and Greg apart. Jesse and Liza argued and he pushed her, then left. Once he was gone, Liza tore her clothes up and accused Jesse of raping her. Jesse fled town to hide in New York. While there he saw Jenny, who was going to being a career as a porn star, and convinced her to return with him to Pine Valley instead. Jenny convinces Liza to drop the false charges.
Soon after this Jesse met Angie Baxter. They fell in love and decided to secretly marry so they crossed the state line for a quickie ceremony. Angie's family did not like the match, especially her father Les Baxter. When Angie discovered she was pregnant she became convinced that Jesse didn't want kids and decided to give the baby up for adoption. She flew to Haiti for a quick divorce. Jesse found out about the pregnancy and met Angie at the hospital to be with her; he was too late and the baby had already been given up. Wanting their child back, they decided to kidnap him from the adoptive parents and ran off to Center City where they were married.
Jesse's singing partner, Yvonne, told everyone she was pregnant with Jesse's child but later admitted her lie to Angie. She sold the baby to a baby-selling ring. Jesse took an undercover job to find the leader and learned "Mr. Big" was Angie's father! They struggled and Les fell to his death. Angie was angry and left Jesse.
The found their way back to one another but Jesse, while still a police officer, was shot in the line of duty and killed.
Jesse's ghost has visited Pine Valley several times since his death. In 1994 during a tornado he appeared to Tad to help him, and in 2001 he appeared to Gillian to help her move on from her death.
It turned out that Jesse was never dead; he had faked his death to get away from the criminal Papel. When Frankie was deathly ill, he came out of hiding to be with his son. Both Angie and Frankie were shocked. Angie and Jesse picked up where they left off, but Papel wasn't far behind. He stalked them, hoping to find more diamonds. Jesse and Angie decided to renew their wedding vows and at the ceremony, Papel - Rob Gardner! - struck! Jesse fought him off and saved Angie but Tad and Julia were shot. Tad survived; Julia died.
Soon after, Richie Novak was killed in a hit-and-run. Annie tried to frame Cassandra, Colby and Dre; Jesse already suspected them because of how they were acting. He tried to prove their innocence but Cassandra thought he was targeting her. It was finally proven that they didn't kill Richie. Unable to stand being around Jesse and Angie, Cassandra left town.
Someone began calling Jesse and he finally admitted he had another life - complete with a family! He lived with therapist Rebecca and they had a daughter Natalia. Natalia came to Pine Valley and Rebecca followed after Natalia was hurt in the tornadoes. It turned out Rebecca was dying; Jesse struggled with his guilt over Rebecca.
Jesse is the Chief of Police in Pine Valley. He helped his daughter-in-law, Randi, cover up what he thought was the murder of Henry North, and has dealt with his widow, Madison North. Jesse worked on the investigation of Stuart's murder, and helped Kendall and Zach when she was accused of the murder and on the run!

Wednesday, March 17 2010: Tad Gets Shocking News!
Adam and Greenlee are with the police at the Chandler mansion when Jesse wants to see the entrance to the tunnel. When Jesses goes in, Greenlee confronts Adam about the deal he’s made with David. She wonders if the cops will find him, but he claims that David has lots of places to hide. She tells him that because they are pretending that he is investing in Fusion she has a reason to be seen at the mansion anytime she wants.The cops check the darkened rooms but don’t find anything and go. After they’ve left, David pops out of a small tunnel hidden in the wall.
Jesse emerges from the tunnels with his entourage and tells Adam that they haven’t found anything. He tells Greenlee that she needs to tell them where David is and then they leave. Adam leaves her to take a nap and she calls into the tunnel for David. She doesn’t get a response. She goes in to look and finds him. When she tells him that they are pretending that Adam has invested in Fusion, he says she just gave him a great idea and he kisses her. Her cell rings and she says she has to get back to work. He smiles as he watches her walk away.
Tad runs into Jesse and brings him up to speed the situation and asks him to watch over Krystal while he leaves to find Hillary.
Tuesday, March 16 2010: Get a Grip on Your Green-Eyed Monster!
Angie and Jessie speak in the hallway at the hospital, and Randi comes in to see Frankie. She asks if he's taking his pain pills - he says he can't take them before a procedure. She heads back to Fusion, and Frankie looks at his hand. Down the way, Angie tells Jesse that Frankie is on the chopping block due to budget cuts - she has to have him on the list or she'll be accused of favoritism. Jesse tells her she's a healer, and urges her not to let the other stuff get in the way of that. He says that Frankie can look after himself. Angie goes to find Frankie, and asks if he's nervous about the surgery. Frankie doesn't say much, and Angie asks him why he's distant. They discuss how she took the heat for his mistake before - he reiterates that it was him who messed up. Angie asks how his hand is, and Frankie shouts that she can stop worrying - he won't embarrass her in the operating room. Angie is called away, but returns quickly. Frankie says he's tired of being something she has to worry about. Angie tells him that's tough. She walks off and Frankie puts some pills into his hand - he stops himself from taking them, though, putting them in his pocket. When he comes out of the surgery, Angie is there to tell him he did great! Frankie beams. When Angie walks off, Frankie's expression changes, and he tosses his pills in the garbage.
Greenlee arrives at the Chandler Mansion, where Adam greets her and is bewildered about the text message she is referring to - until he realizes David took his phone. As he leaves the room, David comes out of the wall and asks Greenlee if she's missed him! He takes her into the wall hiding spot and informs her that Adam is giving him safe harbor in return for his medical services. She's dubious, but they try to think of an excuse for her to visit the house. She goes to sit in the living room. Adam comes back in and asks where David is - he knows she only came because he's there! Just then, Jesse walks in and notes his perfect timing - he asks if Adam happens to have one David Hayward in his magic wall! Greenlee says David isn't there - she came because Adam is investing in Fusion. Jesse wants the truth. Adam says he was there a few hours ago, but he took off. Jesse asks if he can take a look around for evidence. Adam tells him to go ahead - he'd love to see Hayward caught!
