Outside, Aidan tells Greenlee he has very specific plans to keep her happy and in love with him - starting with a bedroom visit.
Kendall, Kendall, Kendall!
At Fusion, Greenlee, Amanda and Babe are working on Annie's formula when she walks in the door. She tells them about Spike but Greenlee turns the conversation back to the non-working fragrance. Annie picks up the book and says Kendall already has the answers. They can't get the fragrance right; Amanda, Babe and Annie want to wait for Kendall. Annoyed, Greenlee says they don't need Kendall to make a good fragrance. She goes off on a tangent, raging about Kendall, the book and Aidan being in LA. The girls return to the book, looking for another hint at Kendall's dream fragrance. As they talk about Kendall - and Ryan - Greenlee realizes the bitterness Annie feels about Ryan is what the formula is missing: a bitter hint to curtail the sweetness! She makes one change and everyone agrees they have the right combination this time. Amanda and Babe leaves. Annie congratulates Greenlee, who returns the favor. They bond over being able to do something without Kendall.
The Poet Who Doesn't Know It
Greenlee and Zach meet at conFusion; he comments on her smell - which is horrible. She says it is the new Charm perfume they are developing. The waiter brings their drinks and Greenlee whines about no assistants and no Ava, who is in Hollywood screen-testing, and goes on and on. Finally she says, "And I hate your wife!" She says Kendall is having all the fun and she hates that. Then tells him about Ryan's break-through with Annie, wondering why he still can't remember her after she kissed him. Zach points out that since she has moved on with Aidan she should be okay with Ryan moving on with Annie. Greens says she doesn't want Ryan for herself but she still wants to have meant something to him. She is finally beginning to feel cheered up. Greenlee says she feels like she can talk to Zach about things she can't talk with Aidan about. She remembers him hugging her after the fashion show and wonders if that is bad. Zach says there are things he doesn't tell Kendall, too. Greens flashes back to the kiss but tells Zach she was thinking about Aidan. She leaves. Zach calls Kendall but gets her voicemail. He says he loves her and hangs up.
Good Times..
Greenlee, Babe and Amanda arrive at Fusion. Amanda tells the other girls to get ready because their new assistant has arrived! The girl walks in with her iPod blaring and dressed like a punk. Greenlee shows her right back to the door and says the position has been filled. Another applicant arrives but this one is too rigid for the girls to take seriously. A third applicant comes in but she is looking for a model position. Once they are all gone, Greenlee and crew discuss the applicants and can't find a single one that they want to work with. They start to focus on the new perfume and packaging. Soon, though, Babe changes the subject and tells Amanda about Richie's transplant and JR falling off the wagon. Greenlee interrupts with scent papers, ready to move forward. Amanda reminds her that Kendall has the final say, annoying Greenlee. Babe asks when she will be able to finally let JR go. Greens compares Babe and JR to Jack and Erica. Annie arrives, smiling and in a good mood. Greens asks what has her so happy. Annie ignores the question and tries to focus on business but everyone knows she got lucky the night before and she finally comes clean. As she talks about Ryan remembering her, Greens becomes upset. She leaves the group and wonders why Ryan remembered Annie but couldn't remember her.
Kendall Attacks Her Stalker!
Zach and Greenlee are at the bar talking when he asks what happened between her and Ryan. They return to Fusion and Greenlee asks Zach to hit the lights in the lounge. The poles are still set up and Greenlee tries to get Zach to dance for her! Greens reminds him of his bomb shelter promise (that he would grant 3 wishes for her) and says him pole-dancing is wish one! Zach dances a little for Greens and then they sit down to talk. Zach asks, again, what is going on with her and Ryan. She says she tried to help Ryan remember but didn't have any luck. Zach says Greenlee should just leave Ryan alone so she can focus on Aidan. Greenlee says she and Aidan are just fine no matter what happens with Ryan. When Zach keeps pressing her, Greenlee puts space between them. Zach follows and they face off on their different pole stands. He says Ryan needs professional help, no friendly help. Greens realizes Zach is trying to protect her and gives him a break. She takes another spin on the pole and then says she has another wish to be granted. Greens spins right off the pole and into Zach's arms! Both are uncomfortable with that and back away. Zach offers to take Greenlee home.
Annie Gambles With Her Future
In the park, Greenlee keeps trying to make Ryan remember but no matter how hard she tries he just can't remember her part in his past.
At conFusion, Zach tells Annie that flirting with random guys and having dinner with them is a bad idea. And, he says her hunk is married! Annie doesn't want to listen but finally realizes she wasn't being very smart. Zach tells her to stick with him and they leave for the casino. Annie wins a few hands and meets a man named Robert. Zach watches them, wondering who the stranger is. Greenlee and Ryan arrive! Zach watches them, too, and heads over. Greenlee wonders why he brought Annie there but Zach doesn't answer. Ryan heads for the bar. Greenlee says she just wanted to cheer Ryan up; Zach says Ryan is nobody's problem. Aidan calls and asks Greenlee to join him. She can't hear because of the noise in the casino and hangs up. Ryan goes to Annie as she starts the next round. Greenlee returns to Zach and tells him that as long as Ryan is with her he doesn't have to worry about Kendall. Greenlee returns to Ryan, who bellyaches about Annie ignoring him. Greens tells him to get over it and try again. Annie and Robert win another hand. Zach goes over to introduce himself. His full name is Robert Gardner; he wraps up his game and leaves. Annie tells Zach that Rob was really good; Zach says he was too good. She thanks him for the evening and leaves. Ryan follows but Annie won't give him the time of day! "But I don't want you to go," he says!
Nobody Believes JR!
Greenlee and Ryan are alone in the park, talking about old times. Ryan thanks her for not treating him like he is sick and she promises to help him remember everything. She asks if Ryan really wants to remember and without him saying a word realizes that he doesn't want to be anywhere but 2004! She tells him about their special place, which is where they are now, and then gives him the shortened version of their wedding at the castle and their relationship. None of that rings a bell for him. Ryan asks more about their daily surprises. He asks why they didn't fight to stay together when they obviously loved each other so much. She mentions Annie. "But I can't wrap my mind around ending up with her," he says. Greenlee admits she didn't understand at first how Ryan could choose Annie over her. Next she tells him about his real proposal and how their marriage of convenience because a real marriage but he still doesn't remember any of it. Ryan asks for more stories and Greenlee fills in a few more memories. He remembers the smell of lilacs and the music! He takes her in his arms, taking Greenlee back to that day, and they dance for a bit. Greens asks why his memory had to land in the Kendall era instead of the Greenlee era. She brings up his returned memory but Ryan kills her excitement, telling her that he didn't remember anything and was only making assumptions. Greenlee is crushed. "How can you not remember me?" she asks angrily. Ryan says he just can't remember her and Greenlee angrily walks off. She turns back quickly and lays a passionate kiss on him!
A Few New Worries
Annie backs away and Ryan doesn't even notice. Just then Zach and Aidan walk in and jab at Ryan about his pole routine. Kendall and Aidan get ready for their trip and Ryan leaves. Zach asks Annie if she is okay; she insists she is fine. Greens and Kendall tell the guys how great Annie was on the pole. She leaves, telling the group she isn't going to hide just because Ryan's lost his memory. Everyone catches up to Ryan, who is stuck at the elevator. Greens manages to open the door and everyone climbs inside. The elevator gets stuck half-way down! Aidan calls for help but the repairman says he can't be there for an hour. Kendall worries about her booksigning and both Zach and Ryan offer the use of their personal planes. This annoys Zach, who makes Ryan back off. Greenlee gets nervous but Zach reassures her that they aren't in a bunker this time. Ryan starts laughing about the time he and Kendall got stuck in an elevator. Greenlee talks about the time she and Ryan got stuck, too. All of the reminiscing annoys Annie who sarcastically comments that Ryan is the only man in the elevator who has slept with all three women. She rants for a bit before Zach tells her to calm down and be quiet! Zach says everyone needs to focus on the present, which annoys Ryan. His annoyance annoys Kendall, who tells Ryan to suck it up and move on. This annoys Greenlee, which annoys Annie and the whole argument cycles around. Ryan tries to reassure Annie but the more he talks the less assured Annie is. She wonders why Ryan can remember his ex-wife Greenlee and his ex-fiancee Kendall but can't remember his current wife. Aidan tries the engineer again but doesn't get an answer. This gives Greenlee something else to worry about and she starts banging on the walls, trying to attract attention. Zach manages to calm her down. Ryan tries calling for help when the elevator jerks. This freaks out Greenlee. Zach calms her by asking for a joke. The elevator finally begins to move.
All five grab a drink at conFusion. Ryan focuses on Greenlee this time around. Annie is the first to leave. Kendall calls Kelly to say she is on her way, then turns to Aidan and tells him to lighten up about what Greens said in the elevator because it was just a joke. Greenlee commandeers Aidan's attention. Kendall asks Zach to check in on Erica from time to time while she is gone and kiss the boys for her. She and Aidan leave for the book tour. Zach calls an associate, saying they need to talk. Greenlee heads across the bar to talk to Ryan, who is still at the bar. She asks where they should go first!
