Only I Can Save Ryan!

Aidan hands the phone to Greenlee, saying she needs to make a decision - him or Ryan! She puts the phone away, smiles and kisses him but then starts talking about Ryan. She wonders how Aidan could fall in love with her when she was so focused on Ryan. He asks her to marry him again. She says she needs time and asks why he is pushing for a change in their relationship now. Upset, Aidan packs up the picnic and leaves, saying he needs space. Greenlee hurriedly picks up her phone and listens to Ryan's message. He tells her to forget about him and move on with her life because he is leaving for a while.

Zach tries to keep Kendall calm but she is certain that Carmen forced Erica to call and tell them she was okay. Zach realizes she is still worried about Ryan, too, and can't understand it. Kendall says Ryan is alone and needs her; Zach says Ryan brought all this on himself. Zach tells her to go on focusing on Ryan and he'll take care of Erica. They both make phone calls, pretending not to care that they are fighting. Kendall leaves a message for Ryan, telling him how great he is. Zach talks to his contact about Erica. When they hang up, Kendall tells Zach that he should have approached things slower with Ryan. Zach says there is no good way to sugarcoat the past. They finally agree to disagree. Just then Greenlee arrives and starts yelling at Zach. She goes off on a tangent but Zach remains calm and Kendall stays out of the argument. He tells Greens he is worried - about her and about Kendall but not about Ryan. He tells her to leave. When she won't, Zach leaves for a meeting. Kendall asks about Aidan and Greenlee says he is gone and so is Ryan and she doesn't know what to do. Kendall tells Greens that she needs to forget Ryan and focus on Aidan. Greens tells her about the marriage proposal but says she can't marry Aidan until things are right for Ryan. She is certain that only she can make things okay for Ryan again. She decides to go after Ryan. Kendall tries to stop her by telling her that Aidan isn't going to wait for her forever. Greens is certain Aidan will wait forever for her.

She's Losing Her Mind!

Greenlee tries to reach Ryan by phone but he doesn't answer. A little panicky, she begs him to call so they can talk again. Aidan walks in, grabs her coat and tells her to follow him. He takes her to the beach where he has recreated their first date! She is touched. They kiss. Greenlee wants to make love but Aidan stops her. He pulls her to her feet and then stoops to one knee. Aidan pulls out a velvet box - and asks Greenlee to marry him! She is stunned. Before she can answer, her phone rings. Greens ignores it but Aidan grabs it and sees that Ryan is calling. He hands the phone to Greenlee.

Come-Ons and Turn-Downs!

Greenlee is still drinking at ConFusion when Ryan walks in. Ryan's still in a daze. Greenlee is confused until she puts two and two together and realizes Zach must have shown him the tapes. She insists that nothing he did that night was his fault but Ryan disagrees. He says no matter what she did he shouldn't have turned violent. He says he can't remember the past because he doesn't want to remember the bad parts of himself. Greenlee tells him to forget about the tapes because that moment was only one bad moment in hundreds of good ones. He asks her to prove it - by telling him everything about their relationship. Greens says everything was great between them until Jonathan returned to town with the brain tumor. That, she says, is when Ryan decided that his family history was too dark to ever have his own children. This doesn't convince Ryan; he believes more than ever that Zach is right and he is a monster. Greens continues to blame herself for Ryan's actions that night at the casino. She wants to leave but Ryan begs her to tell him the rest. She tells him about the switched eggs and leaving town. Then, she says she returned for him but it was too late for their love. Ryan stands up to leave, ignoring Greenlee's protests that he should stay.

Ryan Lavery, This Is Your Life!

At ConFusion, Kendall meets Greenlee. She goes after the drinks while Kendall obsesses over the phone, hoping Erica will call. When Greens returns, Kendall tells her about Ryan's visit. Greens warns her that Ryan isn't just trying to remember his past - he is trying to win her back. Then, she wonders why Ryan hasn't remembered her yet. Both women realize they want Ryan in their lives for selfish reasons and wonder why they can't be happy with Aidan and Zach. They agree that they can put Ryan in the past now, though, because they have learned from their mistakes. Kendall starts thinking about Erica again and Greenlee assures her that Erica will wind up on top - like usual. She brings up Ryan and they toast to leaving the past in the past.

At the Slater's, Zach reacts badly to seeing Ryan, who says he is just trying to help find Erica. Zach doesn't believe him. Ryan tells Zach about lying about his memories. Zach isn't surprised. Ryan apologizes, saying he was just trying to make everyone feel better. Zach doesn't buy it and tells him to try a doctor next time. Ryan says doctors are no help. Zach suggests that Ryan can't remember because there are things he has done in the past four years he doesn't want to remember. Zach leads Ryan to Cambias where Zach has files on the past four years. He tells Ryan about Jonathan's mental illness and his own vasectomy. Then he pulls out a DVD. "You want to see some more?" he asks. Ryan doesn't but Zach bullies him into it. Stunned, Ryan watches as he berates Greenlee over being pregnant and orders her to terminate the pregnancy! On tape, he terrorizes Greenlee and slams her against a wall. Next, Zach takes Ryan to the cliffs where he faked his death. Zach says he helped Ryan then but he is done helping Ryan hurt other people. He walks away.

The Road to Chicago!

At Fusion, Annie is ignoring Greenlee, who can't handle the silent treatment. She tells Annie that they need to deal with the night before; Annie tells her to stop pretending she cares. Greens is shocked and says she cares about them all very much; Annie doesn't believe her and tries to focus on work but Greenlee won't let it go. She keeps pushing and Annie finally lashes out, asking how Greenlee would feel if she did the same thing with Aidan. She brings up the kiss and says Greenlee didn't kiss Ryan for Annie's sake - she did it for her own sake! Greenlee turns away, not wanting to talk anymore but Annie keeps pushing this time. "Maybe I should take Aidan to bed," she says! Greenlee laughs, saying Aidan would never cheat on her, especially with someone like Annie! Annie brings up Spike, reminding her of just how obsessed she can become. Greens strikes back, saying Ryan can't remember Annie because there is nothing special about her. They go back to ignoring each other but soon Greens can't take the silence and apologizes for the fight. Annie apologizes, too. They hug but Annie still doesn't trust Greens. Greens calls Kendall and they agree to meet later for drinks. She leaves. Annie decides it's time to take action.

Chicago, Here They Come!

Greenlee and Aidan show up at the police station to support Kendall. Senator Woods offers apologies and admits to Kendall that the woman with Erica is armed, but says he doesn’t feel that they have any reason to worry about her. Kendall turns on Zach, telling him that he shouldn’t have withheld information from her. She asks him to hold her and he does. Meanwhile, Greenlee and Aidan come to her side, but as they try to console her, Senator Woods brings news that the press is outside, wanting information. Zach advises Kendall to stay away from the media, but Kendall plans to talk. “I would like to talk to the woman who’s holding my mother hostage,” Kendall says into the cameras, bravely but tearfully pleading for Carmen to bring Erica back. Greenlee tries to console Kendall, to remind her that everything will be okay, but Kendall reminds Greenlee that nothing is ever okay for the Slaters or the Kanes. “This is it, Greenlee. No more. I’m done with this. No one will ever take anything from us ever again!” Kendall resolves.

Jail Break!

At the penthouse, Aidan is helping Greenlee pick out her outfit when the perfume distributor calls - the bottles of Charm perfume have been mislabeled "Harm"! She calls in Annie, who brings Ryan with her to the office. Neither woman knows what to do. Ryan says they need to offer the retailers a reward for keeping "Harm" off the shelf. Aidan and Ryan offer to help when Greens can't reach Amanda or Babe. The four of them get to work. Greenlee contacts the West Coast suppliers and Ryan reports that the manufacturer is going to pay for all of the money shelled out to the retailers. Greens asks how things are going with Ryan and Annie but then Aidan interrupts, needing Greenlee's assistance. Annie thanks Ryan for helping with Fusion's problems and then asks him to keep his memory issues between the two of them. Across the room, Aidan and Greenlee contact another group of states. He tells Greens that she may be overstepping and should stay out of Ryan's personal business. But, as soon as Aidan and Annie are distracted, Greenlee asks Ryan if Annie is buying his "I Remember" routine. Annie sees them and then overhears Greens talking about faking it. Soon, they have contacted all the retailers and are calling it a night. Greenlee makes another comment about advice for Ryan and Annie asks exactly what is going on. Greens tries to gloss over any advice but Annie won't drop the subject. Both Ryan and Aidan try to break up the brewing fight but Annie and Greenlee just keep going. Greenlee accidentally says they kissed and both Aidan and Annie are angry. Ryan explains it wasn't a romantic kiss. "Well, why didn't you just sleep with him?" Annie asks. As she is trying to explain, Greenlee lets it slip that she suggested Ryan fake his memory returning! Annie storms out. Ryan follows her. Aidan asks Greenlee if there is more he should know. She says no but he isn't sure what to think. He walks out, alone.

Greenlee calls Kendall for advice but Kendall won't listen. She tells Greenlee about the accident and Greens agrees to meet them at the police station. At the station house, Kendall is pacing when Samuel and Derek arrive. They update her on the search. Greens and Aidan arrive. Zach tells Aidan that Erica is apparently handcuffed to Carmen, a violent criminal.
