Zach calls the hospital and learns that Julia has died. Stunned, he tells Kendall and decides he has to call Maria. They go to the hospital; Zach talks to Joe about contacting Maria and learns that Julia asked Krystal to do it. Kendall sees Aidan at Julia's door and says how sorry she is. Ryan and Greenlee arrive; Jack fills them in. Greenlee sees Kendall and Aidan standing together. Annie walks up, sees Ryan with Greenlee and walks away quickly. Jack asks Ryan to give him a minute with Greenlee and then apologizes for telling her about Aidan and Kendall so abruptly. She says she is okay and asks Ryan to take her home. They leave together. Annie is sitting alone, crying, when she sees a brochure about fertility problems. Jake finally returns to the waiting room. He tells Joe that Tad still isn't stabilized but they can't wait any longer for surgery. Joe looks over the charts and hugs Jake. Krystal asks to see Tad first and Jake takes her into the room. JR realizes no one has called Jamie. Just then Adam arrives and asks what he can do. In the treatment room, Krystal begs Tad to hold on. She kisses him and says, "I love you." Krystal returns and sees Adam; she asks about Kathy. Adam sees Dixie is right behind her.
Zach arrives at Greenlee's penthouse to find her throwing things at the walls and basically destroying her home. She rips up a few of Aidan's shirts and then breaks a gift from him. Zach tries to reason with her but she won't listen. She grabs Aidan's computer and tosses it outside and then throws Alfonso out, too. Greens struggles to take off her engagement ring but it is stuck. He calms her down and helps get the ring off. She asks how he handled the news. Zach says he threw things, too, and he hit Aidan. Finally, the ring is off and he drops it to the coffee table as Greenlee finally cries. Zach holds her. Greens cries over surviving the bomb shelter only to be betrayed by Aidan. Zach offers her a drink. Greenlee kisses him!
Still at the wedding reception, Aidan, Kendall, Zach and Greenlee are reeling from Greenlee's harsh words and the punch in the face Aidan received at Zach's hands. Kendall tries to get Greenlee to leave with her so they can sort things out, but Greenlee wants nothing to do with Kendall. Instead, Zach and Kendall are forced to leave the reception alone. In the car, Kendall rehashes what just went on inside. She wants to go back and find Greenlee but Zach won't let her. "You betrayed her trust," he says. "Her whole world is turned upside down." He's optimistic that, with a little time, Kendall's and Greenlee's friendship will be fine, but Kendall needs to give Greenlee that time to heal. Kendall, worrying that now even Fusion will be done for, obsesses about it. Zach gives up on Kendall, telling her to go ahead and go inside and "make it worse," because he knows she won't listen to him no matter what he says. No sooner does Kendall pile out of the car then Greenlee gets in, asking Zach to take her home.
At the wedding reception, as Aidan, Kendall and Zach try to figure out why Greenlee's suddenly fallen silent, she stares at them unbelievably, recalling Jack telling of their betrayal of her. In her mind, she plays out images of Aidan and Kendall making love and her anger becomes visible. First, she lays it on, Greenlee-style, sweetly calling Aidan's decision to take her back an incredibly unselfish act on his part. She announces that she's changed her mind and wants to have children after all. "Kendall," she says. "I'd like for you to carry Aidan's and my baby for us." She turns to Aidan. "After all, you'd have another shot at doing Kendall, you cheating, lying son of a..." Everyone is shocked into silence while Greenlee rants and raves that she knows what happened between the two of them. She discovers, through their silence, that Zach already knew about it. Greenlee gets more and more worked up, calling Kendall names and punching Aidan in the chest. "It was wrong and we've regretted it ever since," Aidan insists by way of apology. But Greenlee won't buy it. She says she and Zach should've made love while in the bomb shelter, too, and suggests that they do it now, angrily trying to rip his suit coat off of him. She then lunges at Kendall as she, too, tries to apologize. Greenlee's out of control, so Zach whisks her away. Alone, he explains to Greenlee that he didn't want to hurt her by telling her what happened. He asks her to try to understand what Aidan and Kendall did, to pick up the pieces and move on just like he has done. Aidan storms in on Zach and Greenlee, accusing Zach of sending him away so he would get killed. Zach's answer: a hearty punch to the face. "If I wanted you dead, you wouldn't be here right now," Zach breathes.
It's wedding day for Angie and Jesse and everyone is putting on their best dresses, suits and smiles for the big event. Greenlee, Kendall, Zach, Aidan, Babe and JR, Tad and Krystal, Colby, Stuart, Joe, Opal, Greg... everyone who is anyone is going to be there! Dixie watches from the wings. Tad remarks that today's going to be a good day. Dixie, with a sad look on her face, predicts, "No it won't, Tad. It won't."
The guests are arriving at the big event in force. Greenlee, trying to make small talk with Kendall and Zach, gets distressed when the chit-chat turns to the subject of Aidan, who she has spotted from across the room. She rushes to a window for air and sadly looks at her engagement ring. From across the room, Aidan looks on at her with a grin on his face. He steals up behind Greenlee and pulls her into an embrace. Even without kids, he tells her, he can't live without her. "I promised you a great life, and that's exactly what we're going to have," he says, then rushes off to get some champagne to celebrate their make-up. Greenlee breaks out in happy tears just in time for Jack to run into her. "Did Aidan do this to you?" he asks and she nods, still too happy to speak. Jack misunderstands Greenlee's tears and assumes she knows about Aidan and Kendall's night together. "Aidan and Kendall betrayed you, that's what they did! They betrayed you!" Jack says, pulling her into a hug. Greenlee shuts down, shocked, asking Jack to leave her alone to deal with what's going on alone. She looks across the room with sadness, anger and suspicion to Aidan and Kendall and Zach, who're none the wiser about what she knows. She continues to look at Aidan with a curious, betrayed look while the wedding goes on around her. After the ceremony is over, Aidan notices something is up with Greenlee. "Oh my God," she thinks in her head. "Aidan had sex with Kendall."
Tad and Jake show up at The Comeback for a drink to celebrate Jake's decision to stick around Pine Valley for awhile. Julia walks by Jake at the bar, chatting on a cell phone, working out details of a career move she's planning. Aidan shows up, in a foul mood, and he and Tad sit at a nearby table for a chat about babies. Tad is skeptical that Greenlee won't ever change her mind about having kids, and questions whether or not this is really about having a family or about a "measuring contest" Aidan's got going on with Ryan. Aidan insists this isn't about Ryan, but admits he's rethinking his and Greenlee's relationship. Jake joins them at the table and Tad offers up a toast to women. Aidan questions whether or not women are worth the trouble they put men through. But just as he's convinced that they're not, he jumps up to "get another pitcher of beer." Instead, he surreptitiously gives Greenlee a call but gets her voice mail and hangs up.
Greenlee and Kendall arrive at Confusion, where Babe and Amanda are waiting to join them for a Girls Night Out. Greenlee tries to resist, but they won't let her out of it. The girls sit around and chat about motherhood, swapping horror stories about their moms. Greenlee says none of it matters because Aidan bolted when she told him she didn't want kids anyway. To change the subject, Greenlee turns the spotlight on Babe and her love life. Babe admits she was wrong about Richie and JR, but especially JR. She tells the girls about what Richie did to set up JR and reveals to her friends that she plans to get even with Richie. Conversation turns again and at the same time that Aidan is wondering about the benefits of women, Greenlee is doubting the benefit of having a man around. She, too, jumps up to "get another round of martinis," but instead gives Aidan a call. She, too, gets voice mail because he's calling her at that exact moment and she, too, hangs up.
Greenlee, too, is heading for Fusion, upset about her baby conversation with Aidan. She busts in on Ryan and Kendall saying she needs help, but when Ryan questions her about what she needs, she plays it off like it was all about business. Ryan asks about the wedding and she tells him everything's going great. Once alone with Kendall, however, Greenlee worries that she "screwed up, big!" She tells Kendall about her big baby-fight with Aidan. Kendall tries to reassure Greenlee, but Greenlee's convinced that Aidan has left her forever. Greenlee is sarcastically optimistic, saying at least this time the love of her life didn't die; he's just walking away. Kendall insists that Aidan took a leap of faith to be with Greenlee and that Greenlee should take a leap of faith, too. Over donuts, the two swap old love stories, trying to one-up one another in the bad love choices department. They're interrupted when Kendall gets a text message. She gets a wicked smile. "We are getting out of here!" Kendall says. They ditch the donuts and leave to have some fun.
Jack is visiting Erica, confronting her about what she knows about Kendall and Aidan that she's keeping from Greenlee. Erica tries to be evasive and lies about what happened, saying it was all about a bridal shower surprise. Jack's not buying it. At first Erica won't come clean and asks Jack to just move on. But he won't and eventually he wears Erica down and she has to admit that there's more to the story. She tells Jack everything and he's ticked. "I don't know what to do with this information," he says. "You let her be happy," Erica warns.
