Ryan, Zach, Kendall and Greenlee are waiting for word that Aidan and Jake have been rescued. Ryan and Zach get bad news - the helicopter they were sending in can't land because the heliport has been blown up! Greenlee wants to leave for Africa immediately but Kendall manages to calm Greens down. Zach takes Kendall aside to tell her he trusts Ryan again. She asks if he trusts her, too. "With my life," he says. Across the room, Ryan tells Greenlee that they'll bring Aidan back to her. Ryan calls another Darfur contact and manages to get a truck for the rescue mission. Kendall asks him not to say anything to Greens about his worries. Ryan finally admits he feels responsible because the clinic idea was his. Meanwhile, Zach shows how Aidan and Jake will escape. Another setback is called in - the new chopper was shot down in Egypt! Ryan gets a call and with a little more money changing hands, they get another helicopter in the air on the way to Darfur. To distract her, Kendall takes Greens for coffee. Just then another communiqué is received. It's the rebel leader! He tells Zach they will kill Aidan and Jake if Zach doesn't give them $5 million. Zach says he wants to see the men first and that he can have the money in an hour. The rebel leader cuts off the transmission. He calls back a few minutes later and puts Aidan and Jake on the screen! Zach tells Aidan the money will be there soon and to hang in; he asks the rebel leader to take the men to the landing field but the leader refuses. Greenlee and Kendall return, surprised to see the men on screen. Aidan tells Zach to tell Greenlee he loves her and keeps trying to light the fuse. Just then, shots erupt outside the compound and the rebels run out. The transmission goes dark!
Opals Rocks Don't Scare Me!
Greenlee arrives at Cambias to check in with Zach about Aidan. He brings up the bomb shelter and tells her she saved him - and he won't let anything happen to Aidan. As they chat, Zach says she'll be able to see Aidan's location soon through their communication device.
Babe Knows!
Kendall distracts Greenlee from her thoughts of Aidan with a pre-wedding shopping trip. The two are looking at dresses when Angie and Krystal arrive. Seeing them, Greenlee invites them to enjoy the showing with them. Greens models a few dresses, all of which Kendall rejects. The workers bring Angie several dresses, too. When Krystal gets in the act and tries on some dresses, so does Kendall. Kendall offers a toast to all of their relationships. Later, she gets a call from the casino and finds out a reception room there has opened up. She offers it to Angie, which gets her back in the mood to try on dresses. Greenlee puts several dresses on hold just as Angie comes out dressed in the perfect gown. All three women are stunned and tell her this is definitely the dress.
Dangerous Operations...
Annie puts the finishing touches on the Fusion presentation - by adding the pole-dancing footage! She imagines Kendall and Greenlee firing her and how Ryan will come to her rescue. When she sees Greens and Kendall arrive, she closes the computer so they can't see what she did. Amanda and Babe bring in the Japanese buyers. With the presentation underway, Babe takes over and Annie cycles through a few actual storyboards. She hits a button on the computer and the pole-dancing footage begins to play! Amanda laughs but Kendall and Greenlee are incensed. They lead Annie away from the businessmen and Greenlee goes off on her. Kendall calms her down, telling Greenlee that she is overreacting. Annie volunteers to quit her job since she's embarrassed the company. They are all surprised when the businessmen aren't put off by the video - they love it! They leave and Annie's job is safe. She goes downstairs to drown her not-fired sorrows. Ryan is there and asks if everything is okay. She says no and kisses him passionately. Then she takes another drink.
Back in the Fusion offices, Kendall tries to cheer Greenlee up by suggesting a celebration at ConFusion; she promises that Aidan will be okay but Greens isn't so sure. Zach arrives.
Who's Crazy Now?
Greenlee is setting up for seduction when Aidan walks in and says he is going to Africa. She follows him through the penthouse, trying to convince him not to go. When that doesn't work, she says she'll go along but he refuses. Greens calls Kendall for support and then returns to Aidan. He kisses her softly and then finishes packing. Dressed in desert fatigues, Aidan asks her not to come to the airport. He says he loves her and tries to return the flashy watch but she won't let him. He kisses her as she cries. Kendall arrives. Aidan finally leaves. Kendall tries to encourage Greens, who is certain that Aidan won't make it back alive.
A Little Bit Of Life...
Kendall calls the prison but a guard won't give her information on Erica. Greenlee arrives at work and assures Kendall that Erica will be fine. When she keeps obsessing she tells her to shut up and listen. When she has Kendall's full attention, Greens thanks her for standing up to Zach. Jack calls; both are relieved that Erica is doing well.
Manipulations...
At Zach's office, Greenlee demands to know what they're keeping from her about Aidan. Kendall says they are both just worried and reminds her that Aidan was in special ops for a while. Greenlee tries to manipulate her by using their friendship. Zach steps in, insisting that Aidan is the best man for the job. He tells Greenlee he has no ulterior motives. Greens brings up Ryan and says he owes her. He gives in and says he'll take Aidan off the case. Rachael calls and Kendall decides to go home to see the boys; Greenlee goes with her. Aidan arrives. Zach says he is off the case but Aidan says he has to go - because Tad's brother, Jake, is the hostage! He shows Zach the updated file.
A Dangerous Assignment!
Greenlee meets Jack at the Yacht Club. He has flowers and a blank check for her to pay for the perfect wedding. He asks if anything might hamper the wedding and Greenlee says Ryan is just her friend! They talk about her plans a little and then Jack mentions Erica, which sets Greenlee off. She says Jack is still too wrapped up in La Kane! Aidan arrives and is shocked to see Jack's blank check. Jack is distracted by a phone call and leaves quickly. When they are alone, Aidan says he can't stay for lunch and tells her about the hostage situation. "You're not going," she says, worried. He says he cannot refuse the assignment. He swears he'll come back to her.
Josh visits Kendall at Fusion. She teasingly asks who he is. He apologizes and says work has been hectic. Kendall is stunned when Josh says a worker has been kidnapped from their relief project in the Sudan. He asks about Erica and Kendall updates him. After, she asks about the hostage situation and is startled when Josh says Zach is sending in Aidan! Kendall goes to see Zach and asks why he is sending Aidan. Zach insists Aidan's special skills are needed. Reporters call but Zach holds them off. Greenlee bursts into the office and asks why Zach is trying to kill Aidan!
