I've Done Horrible Things!

Kendall tells Zach that she really does care and wants to help. Zach reminds her that she has helped enough already. He recaps how this all went down and wants to know if that’s what friends do. Kendall hangs her head and walks away. Ryan fills Greenlee in on all of the things Annie confessed to. Greenlee wasn’t shocked about her using the baby to hold onto Ryan, but she was very concerned about all of the other things. She is worried because Ryan thinks that this is his fault. Ryan tells her that he didn’t give Annie what she needed and that he has a habit of promising forever and not delivering. Greenlee tells him that she didn’t miscarry because of him and neither did Annie! Ryan’s eyes fill with tears as he holds Greenlee’s hands. Jake arrives at the hospital and is informed of what happened by Aidan and Zach.

This is the Way it has to be!

At the hospital, Kendall insists that this is all a sham. Greenlee doesn’t think that someone would actually do that, but Kendal is not changing her mind! Annie tells Ryan that she can’t believe that he is here. She apologizes for what she has done and wants to explain about why she hired a lawyer and said all of those things. He tells her that he did lose his temper and that he is really sorry for that. She holds her stomach and promises that she will try to remain calm to keep the baby safe. The doctor comes in and tells them that the sonogram indicates that the fetal heart beat has stabilized but that they are still waiting on all of the blood work. The doctor instructs her to get some rest. Ryan walks out of the patient area and updates Kendall, Greenlee and Zach. When he steps away, Kendall tells Greenlee that Annie is twisting Ryan into knots and that they have to help. She says that Ryan’s biggest fear is him turning into his father, so what does Annie do? She puts bruises on her arm and points fingers at Ryan and tries to ruin his whole family. Greenlee says that if she really wants to help she will stay out of it. Annie looks up at the foot of her bed and her brother’s ghost suddenly appears. He tells her that this is going great! He gloats that she is on fire! She tells him to leave, but he won’t go. He tells her that she had better love this baby because it is the only reason that Ryan isn’t riding off into the sunset with Greenlee!

Zach and Ryan have a cup of coffee in the waiting room. Ryan tells him that he just can’t get it right and maybe he doesn’t deserve a family! Ryan blames himself for Greenlee miscarrying, Kendall almost losing Spike and now this with Annie. He tells Zach that he is the common denominator. Zach tries to calm him down, but Ryan says if they lose this baby, it will be a sign that he is not meant to be a father! He tells Zach that he can’t ignore what is in his genes and that he can’t change who he is. Kendall tells Greenlee that Ryan doesn’t belong with that big bag of crazy! She asks Greenlee if she is staying out of it just so Ryan won’t interfere with her marriage to Aidan? Greenlee can’t believe that Kendall is bringing all of that up and insists that this is between Ryan and Annie. Greenlee tries to defend Annie, but Kendall won’t hear of it. Greenlee steps away to call Aidan and Kendall sneaks in the room with Annie. She tells Annie that this must be working perfectly for her. Annie tells her to leave and goes to push the call nurse button, but Kendall grabs the remote and says that she’s not going anywhere until she hears what she has to say! Kendall recaps the events that have happened and tells Annie that she wants to hear her say how she is using the child to trap Ryan into this marriage. Annie screams to Kendall that it is sick the way she only wants Ryan to have ever loved her and Greenlee! The two of them continue to yell at each other and suddenly Annie cramps over as the monitors start to sound. Kendall panics and runs out to get the doctors. Ryan and Zach run in wanting to know what has happened!

Zach and Kendall go to the waiting room to talk. Zach tells Kendall that she just couldn’t keep quite and that she had to accuse Annie. Kendall says that yes, she had to do it. She can’t stand that she is lying about all of this. Annie cries and says that the baby is gone…she can feel it. The doctor keeps quiet and searches for a heartbeat on the monitor. Greenlee comes in and asks Kendall how she could do this. Kendall insists that she did the right thing. The doctor turns to Ryan and Annie and tells them that she is sorry. Kendall tells Greenlee that she is just shoving Ryan back to Annie so that she doesn’t have to deal with the fact that Ryan really loves her. Greenlee tries to deny it, but Kendall tells her that Aidan wouldn’t stand a chance if Ryan came crawling to her with all of that love. Aidan walks up just as Kendall finishes the comment. Back in the room Ryan asks Annie what Kendall said to her. Annie cries and tells him that it is not Kendall’s fault and that it is hers. Annie tells Ryan that she did all of this. She says that she loved him so much and that she couldn’t stand that he was slipping away. Annie tells him that she has done horrible things and kept them a secret. Annie says that she needs to tell him everything!

Moving On and Stepping Back...

Greenlee hears noises from behind the walls and gets nervous. She calls Jake and asks him to come over. Jake arrives and checks things out. He doesn't find anything strange. She says the plant fell; Jake decides it could have been wind, but it would have to be a strong gust to knock over the plant. Greenlee apologizes for calling him and overreacting. Jake sees her movie choice and teases her. Greenlee asks about Amanda. Jake says they are drama free and having fun. He asks about Aidan and she says things are perfect - except for their fight. Jake asks if they fought about Ryan and she says it was about a broken wedding present. Ryan calls and tells Jake something is wrong with Annie. Jake agrees to meet him at the hospital. He tells Greenlee there is a problem with Annie; she decides to come along.

On her way out of the office, Kendall runs into Erica. She asks where Josh is but Kendall doesn't know. Erica asks how she can contact Josh if she needs to; Kendall says they have to act as if Josh is gone forever. Erica begins blaming herself for Josh's actions, saying she may have pushed him by not accepting him sooner. Kendall warns her not to try to find Josh because it could get him killed! Erica can't believe that Kendall finds it so easy to let go. She says she can't do that and leaves. Greenlee calls to tell her about Annie's problems. Kendall agrees to meet them at the hospital.

At the hospital, Annie begs the doctors to save her baby. Annie says she has had some spotting and cramps. Jake arrives as the other doctor moves Annie to a private room. Ryan tries to follow but Annie tells him to leave her alone. Jake promises to keep Ryan informed; he goes to the waiting room where Greenlee is. They watch a 9/11 report on television and reflect on the problems they are facing now. Ryan brings up Annie and swears he didn't create the bruises she was showing off. Greenlee believes him. He wonders what losing the baby will do to her and worries that Annie won't be able to be there for Emma. Kendall arrives and sees them holding hands. She steps away quickly. Jake comes in and sends Ryan to Annie for the sonogram. Kendall comes into the room and asks Greenlee what is going on! Greenlee says Annie could lose the baby but Kendall is hard-hearted and refuses to feel sympathy for her. Zach walks in and tells her to stop being mean and start supporting their friends!

Annie Puts Her Plans In Motion!

Kendall arrives at Fusion. Greenlee is there. She drops the Josh bomb and says she isn't sure Zach wouldn't have killed him and she isn't sure why he can't forgive her actions. Annie and Babe arrive, talking about safety. Babe lets Annie know about Adam's gun. Kendall and Greenlee spot them and Kendall makes a smart remark about their late arrival. Babe ignores them and starts work; she is excited about the web hits Bella is getting. Annie pretends to be hot and removes her sweater. The women see the bruises. Babe demands to know what is going on and Annie says Ryan did it! She says she pushed Ryan too hard. Kendall doesn't believe her for a minute but Greenlee and Babe do. Babe brings up Ryan's fight with Aidan and offers any help Annie needs. She says she just wants to work. Kendall takes Greenlee aside. Greenlee defends Annie, saying Ryan has lost control before. She wonders if Ryan did hurt Annie. Annie listens, smiling. Richie appears. Annie says all of this - including the fake bruises - are Greenlee's fault. She sees a pair of scissors and watches Babe and Greenlee laughing. Babe asks her to look over some proofs with them. "Kill her," Richie says. Annie ignores him and agrees with Greenlee's choice. Babe asks Greenlee about her dinner plans. Greenlee says with Aidan out, she is going to have a scary movie fest all on her own. Annie decides to go after Greenlee tonight!

Annie arrives at Greenlee's and sneaks into a back area. She watches Greens with the gun drawn for a while. She is about to make her move when Tad arrives to see Aidan. Greenlee says he is gone. Tad leaves. Greenlee returns to her movie. Annie starts to make another move but Richie appears. She realizes she can't kill Greens in cold blood; Richie taunts her again. She points the gun at Greenlee. Richie keeps taunting her to pull the trigger but Annie hesitates time after time. She finally cocks the trigger but can't fire the gun! "Loser," Richie coos as Annie hides again. She has a cramp and falls to the floor. As a movie character screams, Annie tries to hold in her own screams.

Annie's Desperate Measure!

After their fight, Greenlee accidentally breaks the wedding present Jack gave her and Aidan. She is heartbroken - because of the gift and because of the fight. She asks if they are going to be okay. Aidan says they'll be fine - as soon as he stops acting like Kendall! He apologizes. Greenlee says he wasn't wrong because she feels much more for Ryan than simple friendship! She says Ryan made her into the strong, impetuous woman she is. She says it was only because of Aidan, though, that she was able to rebuild her life after Ryan left her but that there are still things that need to be resolved. She isn't sure how to resolve everything and admits that she doesn't want Ryan back. She says there are just too many things left unfinished. She says she knows she can't help Ryan but she also can't stop trying to help him. Aidan is understanding. He compares her turmoil over Ryan to his one night stand with Kendall. He says he loves her and trusts her and they make love.
