In the hospital, Greenlee begs Kendall to hold on. She tells Jake that Kendall is strong and can wait but Jake says she doesn't have time. He bullies her a little, desperate to perform the surgery to give Kendall the best chance possible. Zach arrives with Bianca and the baby. Greenlee sees them and Frankie takes over; he orders doctors to take Binks to the maternity ward. Zach gets to Kendall's room and sits with her. Jake comes in and tells him Kendall will die without the surgery. Jake says there are risks, including Kendall's death, but if they wait she will die anyway. Zach tells him to get the surgeon prepped; Jake says he'll have to be the neurosurgeon because their best doctor is trapped by the storm. Zach tells him to wait, but Jake says Kendall can't wait. Zach tells him to do it. Bianca comes in and flashes back to the moments before the storm. Kendall was thrilled with her pregnancy but worried about Zach; Binks tried to keep her calm. Kendall asked about the father but then the tornado hit. Kendall took time to get the boys and Bianca under the table but then she was ripped away from them. Binks begs Kendall to wake up. Zach watches from outside.
Greenlee and Bianca go to the maternity ward to look in on Bianca's baby. Greenlee asks about Miranda; Bianca says Miranda is home with Reese. The nurse brings the baby to Binks and says she is perfectly healthy, although she has a slightly high breathing level. Bianca is relieved. Greenlee asks who the father is. Zach stops by and waits with them. Greenlee leaves to get some food and drinks. Bianca promises Zach that Kendall will pull through. The sirens sound and Zach rushes Bianca to safety! He leaves to get Kendall and sees Greenlee as the storm hits!
It's A Girl!
Emergency crews arrive at the gazebo; Aidan's shoulder is broken and the workers load him up. Greenlee wants to come, too, but they won't let her. She grabs Aidan's jacket at the same time Ryan does and their eyes meet. Aidan leaves. Ryan says he has to find Spike and Emma when the medics say there are hundreds of injuries. Greenlee turns away but he grabs her and says they have to tell Aidan.
At the hospital, Angie gives instructions for Babe and tells JR she has to get ready for surgery. Annie tries to get a police officer to listen to her worries about Emma but he is too busy. Jesse brings in Natalia and tells her she'll be fine and then turns to Annie, says the whole force has Emma's description and they can only wait. Colby sees JR and runs to him; Tad tells her about Babe's condition and Colby says Adam could be dead. JR doesn't care – he blames Adam for Babe's condition! Tad gathers the kids and prays. Aidan arrives and asks how they are. Tad tells him about Babe as Greenlee and Ryan walk in together. Aidan walks back out. Frankie sees Greenlee and tells her about Kendall; Ryan asks about the boys. Frankie says the boys are fine in the daycare area. Randi sees Frankie and runs to him. He says he has to get back to his patients, kisses her and runs back to the hall. Annie sees Ryan and tells him Emma is missing. Ryan won't listen to her. Corrinna arrives and confirms Annie's story; she is wounded from the tornado and says she hasn't been able to find Emma anywhere! As they are talking, Annie says she knows where Emma must be! Ryan walks away from her, not believing her. She says she'll find Emma on her own!
Greenlee finds Joe and asks about Kendall; there is no improvement. She asks about Zach; Joe says Zach is stuck at the beach house with a pregnant woman. The crew from Adam's jet arrives and report that Adam didn't make it to the airport. Jake tells Joe to let Greenlee see Kendall since they are so close. Frankie brings the latest x-ray; Joe wants to wait for the neurosurgeon but Jake says they don't have time for that.
In Kendall's room, Greenlee tells her that Zach and boys are fine and she has to hold on. She hears the doctors talking; Jake says he can perform the surgery and they can't wait. Jake asks if Greenlee will give her consent since she is Kendall's closest relative available.
The Storm Isn't Over!
Aidan and the officer find Greenlee in the rubble at the gazebo. She asks for Ryan but he is nowhere to be found. They begin searching and find Ryan trapped under debris. Greenlee and Aidan work to free him while the officer goes for help. After he is freed, Greenlee tries to talk to Aidan but he won't listen. Ryan tells Aidan to shut up and hear Greenlee out! The storm sirens begin going off again. Greenlee and Ryan are thrown back toward the gazebo but Aidan is trapped by live wires. He yells at Greenlee to leave him but she refuses to go and so does Ryan. He manages to lift one end of the electric pole and Aidan rolls free.
Tornado Touchdown!
Ryan gets Greenlee to a shed just as a tornado touches down at the marina! She is cut by debris and Ryan finds a rag to stop the bleeding. He manages to get a fire going. Greenlee kisses him as the storm worsens.
Tornado Warning!
On Kendall's porch, Greenlee asks why she can't get her life right. Kendall tells Greenlee that she has to go to Ryan if she wants to stop running. They go inside; Greenlee refuses to listen to Kendall. She insists that Ryan is no good for her and says she won't go down that road again. Zach comes out and Greenlee turns to go. He stops her. Kendall goes to check on the boys; Zach tells Greenlee that she can do whatever she wants. She leaves. Kendall returns and Zach mentions needing more sand. Kendall goes to the beach to get more sand. Kendall calls Ryan and tells him Greenlee is in bad shape. She says he has to find her. Kendall returns inside a few minutes later and says Erica called. She suggests game time; Zach confiscates her phone! After playing for a while, Zach leaves to get the makings for s'mores. The tornado sirens begin going off and Kendall goes to the door to stop Zach but he is already gone. She turns back inside.
Greenlee wanders to the gazebo and sits alone. Ryan finds her. She says she needs to think as the storm begins to worsen. She says the storm is an omen but Ryan says it is the heavens celebrating their reunion! Greenlee says they only cause pain. Ryan takes her hand as a tornado forms near them!
