Not Ready To Make Nice

Thursday, May 24 2007

On the terrace at ConFusion, Kendall and Greenlee have it out. Greenlee keeps telling Kendall that she lost everything because Kendall took everything from her. Kendall is tired of being a doormat and tells Greenlee that leaving was her choice, believing that if she had stayed she wouldn't have lost her life. "You loved me once," Greenlee says and asks her to prove that she still loves her best friend! Telling her that she is unhappy and isn't the only person in Pine Valley who has been hurt, Kendall tells Greenlee to grow up. Angry, Greens storms away, not even stopping to talk to Jack. Ryan tries to follow her but Kendall stops him, telling him to ignore Greens. Jack backs up Kendall, but Erica and Annie ask him to try to get through to the other woman. Ryan follows Greens. Erica turns to leave, Jack follows. Outside, he kisses her softly under her ear and sends her to the car. They leave separately. Kendall follows Annie back to the terrace but doesn't say anything to her for a few moments.

Greenlee heads to the roof and, angry, begins throwing potted plants around. She pulls the butterfly from her pocket and tosses it off the roof. Moments later, Ryan arrives!

Don't Give Her Alcohol!

Wednesday, May 23 2007

At Fusion, Zach tells Greenlee the entire truth about the night the power outage destroyed her eggs. Greenlee slaps him, angering Kendall. Greenlee runs from the room. At the elevator she runs into Rachel, with Spike. "It's him," she says with a smile! Greenlee follows Rachel and Spike back into the office, completely entranced by the little boy. She ignores Rachel's questions about Kendall, focused entirely on the baby. Kendall and Zach come in. Kendall picks up Spike and she and Rachel leave. At the elevator, Kendall asks Rachel not to ever bring Spike back to the office. She walks them out of the building. "That baby was supposed to be mine," Greenlee says, still angry with Zach. Babe interrupts, telling her that she isn't being fair and Greens turns her anger on her. Di backs up her friend. Zach steps in, telling Greenlee not to take her anger out on anyone but him. He reminds Greenlee that Kendall was willing to give her own child to Greenlee to raise but that she refused to take Spike, simply because he wasn't hers biologically. "There was a time when Kendall loved you more than anything else in the world and Spike is living proof of that," he says. Greenlee doesn't see that, believing that if Kendall really loved her she would never have forgiven Zach for the power outage. Zach explains that it took a long time for Kendall to forgive him and to decide to keep Spike as her own child. When Greenlee continues to berate Kendall's decision, Zach becomes angry. Babe and Di back up Zach, telling her that she has no right to talk badly about Kendall or to question her choices, especially since she rejected the child! "Why am I being treated like the pariah?" she asks.

Back at Fusion, Zach tries to make Greenlee see that she isn't the only injured party. But she doesn't want to listen! Telling her that she is as much to blame for the loss of her "life" as Ryan and Kendall are, he offers to buy her out of Fusion so she can truly move on. Greens refuses. Kendall returns, telling her that nothing she can do will make Kendall or any of the other women leave the company! Greenlee suggests a "make nice" lunch to celebrate but everyone declines to accompany her. She leaves the office - alone! Kendall turns to Babe, telling her that her job is safe for as long as she wants it. Josh arrives and pulls Zach aside, telling him about Hannah. Zach leaves to check on her himself. Josh stays behind and learns about Greenlee's glorious return to Fusion. "Please help us overthrow this little tyrant," Kendall says, asking for a drink. A virgin drink! Josh leads all the girls downstairs to have a few cocktails!

Greenlee heads downstairs to ConFusion, hits the bar and orders a drink from Del. He reintroduces himself to her, and they talk over the old days. Del serves her drink and after the first sip, Greens gets talkative, telling Del about how badly she has been treated since her return. She explains that everyone wants her to leave, her to apologize and her to make all of the sacrifices; that no one else will take responsibility for their actions. She flashes back to the day she left Pine Valley, still believing that Kendall "stole" her child in an effort to steal Ryan from her, too! Kendall and company arrive and a drunk Greenlee welcomes them to her private party! "Drinks are on me," she says, toasting her "dear friends"! Greenlee stands on a table and begins toasting the women and herself. Josh just watches her self-destruct with alcohol. Kendall berates Del, asking why he didn't cut her off; he explains that it's her first drink! Babe tells Greenlee to get off the table and Josh offers to take her home. A drunk Greenlee toasts an invisible Ryan just as Ryan and Annie arrive at the bar!

Making Moves!

Tuesday, May 22 2007

In the Bahamas, Greenlee asks if Ryan finally feels free. She is confused that being divorced doesn't seem like a huge deal. Annie appears on the balcony as Greenlee says goodbye. She tells them she is headed back to Pine Valley - alone! Before leaving, she tells Ryan how to search a bag for a missing inhaler. With tears in her eyes she says, "See ya", and quickly leaves the hotel. On the balcony, Annie wonders if Ryan is okay. He admits that he isn't. He takes a moment to talk over the events of the past few days, the stresses they have been under and tells her he doesn't want to go home just yet. Kneeling, he tells Annie that he wants to marry her - for real, right now! Annie kisses him. On the terrace, they get married!

On the plane back to Pine Valley, Greenlee imagines the two beginning their life together. Sad, she thinks about her own life with Ryan, wishing she had it back. She remembers when Ryan gave her the Dynamite Kiddo ring and goes over their talk on the beach. Before the plane lands, Greenlee knows what her next move will be!

At Fusion, Babe excitedly hangs up the phone, telling Di that they did it! Kendall arrives, on top of the world. "I am Kendall the Invincible," she says. Di tells her congratulations are in order - Babe just nailed a deal with Zoe's label to use their songs on all Fusion advertising! Kendall can't believe it. "We're going to rule the industry!" she exclaims. Di, Babe and Kendall begin to download different songs, already planning which songs will work best for the launch of the new product line. Greenlee arrives, listening to them from outside the room. Kendall shows the girls a sonogram picture; Greenlee steps into the room. Greenlee takes Babe's desk, telling the women that she is the majority shareholder and they can get on board or hit the street! Kendall tells Greens to step back, that she doesn't have the power to take anything. "Babe flunked the loyalty test," Greenlee says, explaining that she is taking back the shares that she gave Babe before leaving. Greenlee orders the women to have Babe escorted out! Kendall refuses. Babe can't believe that Greenlee is trying to kick her out of her own company. "I'm back and you've been seriously demoted," Greenlee says, telling Babe to grab a job at BJ's! Kendall assures Babe that she isn't going anywhere. She calls Zach for help! Greenlee continues her reign of terror, telling an underling that the layouts aren't good enough. She orders Di to get the staff in by 7:00 the next morning. Off to the side, Kendall asks Babe why she didn't tell her what could happen with the stock. Zach arrives wondering what Greenlee is trying to prove. He tells Greenlee to come up on the roof so they can talk. She refuses, telling Zach that she's the boss - and Kendall has nothing to do with anything. "Really? Cambias owns stock. Stock I just transferred to my wife," he says, telling Greens that she and Kendall are now 50/50 partners!

Greenlee and Kendall head to the break room. Zach, Babe and Di listen to them fight over Kendall's pregnancy; Greenlee believes that Kendall had Ryan's child on purpose - just to hurt her! Kendall turns it around on her, wondering where she was when her friends were dying. "Why don't you just go? You don't belong here," Kendall says. Greenlee tells her that she won't leave; she still wants Ryan! "If you hadn't decided to steal Ryan's baby from me, we would be together right now. You took my life from me," Greenlee says. Zach walks in, telling Greenlee not to blame Kendall for anything. He didn't want her to carry Greenlee's child! Kendall asks Zach to let her take care of everything but he won't be quiet. "The blackout was my idea. I made it happen," he says!

Caught on Tape!

Monday, May 21 2007

On the beach, Greenlee asks Ryan to fight for her. She tells him that the "finalized" divorce papers were a chance for him to fight for her, a chance for them to find their way back to one another. "Tell me I'm right," she says, "tell me you still love me." Ryan admits that he still loved her, even after he signed the papers, but things have changed. Greenlee doesn't believe he could love Annie the way he loved her. "I'm fighting for Annie," he says. Greenlee believes he is lying; that the only reason he is marrying Annie is because of Emma. She tells Ryan that she has thought of him, of getting back together with him, every day that she has been gone. Ryan moves to her, taking her hands, trying to make her understand that she pushed him away and she can't pull him back now. "I look at life differently now. Emma and Spike are my chance to do things differently and Annie is a huge part of that," he explains. Telling him that she wants their old life back, Greenlee cries. Ryan can't get past the fact that she begged him to sign, to give her choices back. She believes he is trying to punish her for leaving by marrying Annie. "This isn't fair. It's not supposed to be like this. If Annie hadn't come alone, you'd be with me!" she exclaims. Ryan tells her there is nothing that she can do that will change how he feels about Annie. He leaves her, alone, on the beach. Devastated, Greenlee whispers, "Happy anniversary, Ryan." Greenlee sits, letting sand drift through her fingers, remembering times when she and Ryan were together.
