Greenlee’s been summoned to The Comeback by Aidan. Aidan doesn’t look pleased. They banter a little, Greenlee spouting a Greenleeism (calling to mind the old pre-pregnancy Greenlee of years past), calling Aidan a “smug, condescending British little twit.” She confronts him about things he said about her to Ryan. He tries to explain that he only said those things to get Ryan’s confidence. “I didn’t mean it,” he says. He starts grilling her about the locket. Greenlee doesn’t want to chat about the locket or anything else with Aidan and gives him the old heave-ho. But when he tries to go after her he stumbles into a nearby table. That brings out the soft side in Greenlee and suddenly she’s all about helping Aidan and his rock-bashed noggin get better. They kiss – it’s hot, but Greenlee has to go to work. She’s no sooner out the door than Aidan gets a call about the locket. He’s out the door, too!
Back at Fusion, things are a bit uncomfortable with Greenlee’s presence. Brrr! The girls are super-cold to Greenlee, but they try to keep it about business, still bantering about whether Ava should stay or go. The girls are split and the ultimate decision falls to Kendall and Greenlee. Oddly, they agree. Ava stays. Kendall tells Babe that she’s got to be the one in charge of Ava from now on and Babe is incredulous. “I thought I was doing a good job here, and now you want me to be Ava’s babysitter?!” The crowd disperses, leaving Kendall and Greenlee alone. Greenlee, seeing an opportunity, whips out a few gifts for Kendall’s boys. Kendall asks to be alone. She sits at her desk with the stuffed animal Greenlee gave her, looks at it wistfully, and tosses it in the trash.
Kendall arrives on Greenlee's doorstep, surprising her. Kendall barges right in, asking if Greenlee can give her any space at all. Greenlee tells Kendall that she wasn't trying to intrude, that she was at the hospital because of Aidan. Since Aidan isn't a neo-nate, though, Kendall wonders why Greenlee had to go to the NICU. Upset, Greenlee sits and asks what Kendall wants from her. Surprising her, Kendall says, "I want to know if someday I'll be able to forgive you." Excited, Greenlee can't believe her ears. She tries to hug Kendall but Kendall backs off. She might be willing to try to forgive Greenlee but she isn't willing to re-start their friendship! "I have to let this go," she says and tells Greenlee that she needs space. Certain that this means they can be friends, Greenlee tries to hug her again and Kendall backs away. She lays out a few groundrules - that Greenlee keep her distance and that no one else know about their truce. And that Greenlee stay far, far away from Kendall's family! Crying, Greenlee agrees to Kendall's terms and then asks if someday Kendall might allow her a little contact with the boys. Kendall doesn't make any promises. She leaves. Greenlee shuts the door and smiles. Outside, Kendall is talking to herself. "Round one, she bought it," she says!
Kendall catches Greenlee watching her through the NICU window. In her mind, Kendall screams at the woman to leave but she says nothing out loud. Next, Kendall flashes back to Greenlee's miscarriage and then to their switching cars when Spike was hurt. Both memories mix. When Kendall looks out the window again, Greenlee is gone. Zach walks in and Kendall tells him about Greens' "visit", surprised that she didn't try to come in or even get close to the baby. Zach isn't sure what to think. Kendall asks him to meet them later at the carnival. He leaves. Kendall finishes up with Ian and heads for the carnival to meet Rachel and the kids. Rachel takes Emma to a few rides while Kendall stays with Spike, watching the lights and listening to the carnival music, she tells him that Greenlee is responsible for everything wrong in their lives. Fireworks begin to go off, mesmerizing Spike and reminding Kendall of her past with Greens. She keeps talking to Spike, telling him the good and the bad about Greenlee. "I know what needs to be done," she says and asks Spike for forgiveness for what she is going to do next! Kendall calls, telling him about their fun evening. She tells Zach she has a stop to make and then she'll be home; he says he'll meet her there after a quick stop at Cambias.
A tough guy drags Greenlee away from Kendall's window. She is arguing with him when Zach walks up. She wonders if the guy was hired by Ryan or Zach. "If that was one of my men, you wouldn't be here anymore," he says and asks why Greenlee keeps hanging around his family. Greenlee insists she just wants to apologize to Kendall but Zach doesn't want to hear that. He tells her that the best thing she can do for Kendall is to leave town! Greenlee brings up the bad things Zach did, asking why she should leave town when he stuck around after ruining her life. Greenlee tells Zach that she is going to take responsibility for the things she did and she is going to make things right - whether he wants her to or not! Greens walks away.
Kendall arrives at Greenlee's, surprising her old friend.
Greenlee is angrily putting away the picnic supplies, thinking Aidan stood her up. She walks away and finds him, unconscious, behind a walk. Rushing to him, Greens wakes him, hoping he is okay. Aidan wakes with a headache and they being hypothesizing about who may have hit him with the rock - Greenlee is positive she knows: Ryan!
Ryan is locked out of the house. Annie rushes to the door, scared, and tells him she saw Aidan with her mom's locket. She feels like it is haunting her. Ryan calms her down, saying it is just coincidence. Annie tells him Greenlee was with Aidan, which throws Ryan. Just then Greens calls! She orders Ryan to stay away from her friends. He has no idea what Greens is talking about so she gives him the run-down on what happened to Aiden, tells Ryan to stop messing with her and hangs up. Ryan tells Annie about it and leaves to see how things are at the hospital.
Julia is finishing stitching up Aidan's head when Greenlee walks in. Julia asks for the details and offers to call the cops but Aidan declines that. Julia leaves to get Aidan's paperwork ready. When they are alone, Greenlee apologizes for inadvertently hurting him. Aidan is just as angry but not with her, with Ryan. Aidan checks out and makes another dinner date with Greenlee. Just then Ryan arrives. He swears he had nothing to do with the attack on Aidan but Greenlee doesn't believe him. Neither does Aidan, he also lets Ryan know that he isn't pleased that Greenlee is being followed by Ryan's men in the first place. Annie watches them for a moment but just listens in. Ryan suggests they talk to the guys he has following Greenlee to see if they saw anyone attack Aidan. When he returns, Annie approaches them to see if everything is okay. Aidan goes over the things that were stolen - including the locket they found! - making Annie more nervous than ever. Greenlee wonders who would have taken an old locket and is certain that the locket must be important. Annie pulls Ryan away, wondering if Ritchie is behind the attack. Ryan decides to tell Aidan everything and pulls him away from Greens. Aidan hesitates but Ryan plays on his sympathies, and asks him to keep an eye on Annie, too. He agrees and he even agrees to keep Greenlee out of the loop as long as what he finds out won't hurt Greens. "Just so you know, Greenlee and I aren't close," he says. Greenlee hears him! Annie asks Ryan to let her come with him. He doesn't want her anywhere near, though, and tells her to stay home.
Kendall promises Ian that things will only get better from here on out. She looks up and sees Greenlee watching from outside the window!
