Tell It To The Police

At home, Krystal and Babe try to figure out a way to clear Josh without revealing the whole truth about the Josh-Babe relationship.

They ask Sydney to tell them the truth--did Colby and Sean Montgomery hookup during Colby's 16th birthday cruise?

Sydney is shocked to hear about Josh's arrest.

Sydney goes to the restaurant to tell Sean about the negative pregnancy test and Josh's arrest. She suggests that maybe they should let people think they hooked up at Colby's party.

Is another Chandler baby on the way?

Colby complains to Sydney that her life is "over"—she thinks she's pregnant. What's she going to tell Adam? Sydney tells her to go to a drugstore and buy a pregnancy test—and Colby begs Sydney to buy it for her, since her picture's all over town.


Adam tells Krystal how happy he is, and promises the best of everything for her and their baby. And he's thrilled that this time he's in love with the mother of his child—it will be a testament to their love. She tells him that Colby needs his attention—especially since she may feel usurped by the sibling-to-be.

Adam takes her advice and tells Colby that she's still his girl and that he loves her. Colby can't concentrate on their conversation, since she's anxious to do the pregnancy test Sydney has just brought home. When she rushes out of the living room, she drops the directions for the pregnancy test, which Adam and Krystal find a couple of minutes later. Krystal says it's not hers. Adam asks if it could be Babe's?

When Babe and JR walk in, he asks them point-blank if she's expecting. She says she isn't, and Adam wonders who else in the house could need a pregnancy test…as Colby enters the room, looking stricken.

She's back!

Colby "wakes up" and feigns amnesia, claiming she can only remember water and music. Neither Josh nor Babe believe her, and ask Sydney for the 411. She breaks and spills the beans; Colby angrily tells her to shut up, and claims Sydney promised to help her.

Colby tries to incriminate Sydney, and Babe tells Sydney "shame on her" for knowing Colby was alive and not letting them know. Colby asks them to help her escape, but Babe tells her she can't do that.

"You're going to play it my way," says Colby. "If I don't have amnesia, I just might remember what I know!"

At the Chandler manse, Dixie tells JR she doesn't want him in the courtroom, hearing all the things they're going to say about her. Adam enters, and Sydney rushes in, announcing "she's back."

Adam hurries to the other room and is reunited with Colby. She continues with her amnesia ruse. JR coldly asks why Josh is there. Colby acts as if she doesn't know Adam or JR; Babe tells everyone that Colby's lying.

Adam reacts angrily, Colby crumbles and admits "everything spun out of control." She tells Adam she was going to hide until she could get away—figuring Adam didn't want to love her anymore. She denies knowing she drank alcohol, believing it to be lemonade, and Adam forgives her.

After Adam and Krystal leave the room, JR compliments her on a "great performance." Colby spitefully tells JR she heard "everything" about Josh and Babe while in the tunnel. JR asks how she can trash Babe after all she's been putting the family through.

Colby says Josh and Babe slept together but JR doesn't believe her. He says he and Babe love each other, and if Colby says one more thing about Babe, she'll regret it.

He tells her she can't con him or Babe. "You both suck!" cries Colby and runs out of the room. Josh tells Babe he loves her and would trust her with his life.

Pine Valley mourns Colby Chandler.

Krystal asks Babe if she broke her marriage vows, and Babe nods and admits she did. Does she still want her marriage? Babe admits she doesn't know, but wants a man who looks at her the same way Adam looks at Krystal.

Babe says he has problems knowing just what she's feeling about JR, and that Josh gives her something JR never has. Is it possible to be in love with two men at once?

Krystal says Babe has to decide what she honestly wants. If it's JR, she should never let JR know what happened.


The doorbell rings and Brooke is there to offer condolences to Adam, and embraces him. She tells him she knows that losing a child is the worst thing that can happen to a person.

After she's done speaking with Adam, Brooke sits down next to Tad and tells him he can't strike back at Dixie just out of anger, and that what he says in court today will affect JR and Jamie for a long time.

A distraught Sydney tells Winifred she has to leave! Adam overhears and asks her to sit with them, and assures her she's part of the family and that he wants her to stay.

Colby is still in the tunnel and overhears all the conversations.

When Babe goes to answer the doorbell, Josh is standing there. She's shocked to see him and asks what he's doing there. He says he wants to talk—and they overhear the voices in the tunnel.

He opens the door and reveals Colby and Sydney. "You look pretty good for a dead person!"

Josh bares his soul to Babe.

As Colby sneaks out of the tunnel, Sydney sees her and calls Colby "a lying, cheating witch." Colby asks her to hear her out. Sydney tells her many people were hurt by her actions. Colby says "I'm dead and staying that way." She fears that she'll be sent to prison if people know she's alive.

Colby asks Sydney to get the safe combination so that she can get money and leave Pine Valley. If Sydney helps her, Colby says she can have all her stuff. Sydney refuses to "scam" the Chandler family.

Colby tells her that she thought it would be "amazing" but that the experience was a mistake.

Babe and Josh Make Love!

Colby comes out of her hiding place and walks into the living room, then rushes back when she hears Winifred and Sydney discussing that she has to stay in Pine Valley for the school year. After they leave, Colby sneaks out again and sees the Pine Valley Bulletin with the headline "Chandler Daughter Lost at Sea."

Sydney comes back into the living room. There's Colby!

Kendall & Ryan and Josh & Babe declare their love.

Krystal and the maid are checking out the sounds behind the walls—and decide it's probably mice. Colby is seen hovering in her hiding space and listening to her family talk about her.

Babe come in and Krystal asks why she's so "flushed." Babe deflects her question and says she's going upstairs to see JR. Krystal says he's not home. JR checks and house and is agitated that JR's not home.

Colby listens to Krystal tell Babe how much Adam loves and values Colby, Babe tells her that Adam trusts her with all his heart.

Adam calls and lets them know that Colby is still missing, and that JR isn't there. Babe leaves when Krystal's back is turned. She goes to the club, where she and Amanda talk about how hard it is to get men to communicate.

Sydney comes in and asks Krystal why Colby has been so cruel to her. Krystal assure Sydney it's not her fault, but that Colby can't trust her apparent good fortune.

JR returns home, changes and plans to rush off to the recovery site. Krystal tells him they have to talk. He angrily tells her he's fine and doesn't need a babysitter. "Need is pointless—one big waste of time."

Krystal tells JR that Babe needs him and gave him her heart when the met—the only thing she had to offer. JR calls it "psychobabble"; Krystal tells her that it's not and the truth.

The search for Colby continues.

Alone in the house, Colby picks up a photo of Adam and she's sorry and hides. Sydney and Sean come into the house. He says life is unpredictable and whatever happens to Colby will happen. He's unconcerned, to Sydney's surprise.
