At Josh's apartment, Bianca visits Zoe, who is dressed and made up as herself! She is excited because her mother is finally accepting her as she is. Josh arrives with a gift for her from a secret admirer! He suggests giving the present away - maybe to Babe! - and Bianca objects, loudly. Zoe doesn't catch on, though, that Binx is the gift-giver and leaves. "You are so not subtle," Josh says, when they are alone and suggests that Bianca just go tell her how she feels. Bianca gathers her things, planning to keep the secret admirer plan going for a while longer! A few moments later, JR arrives, angry and thinking that Josh is behind the dummy company that is trying to take over Chandler Enterprises! Josh ignores him and asks instead how the divorce is going!
Josh arrives home to find Bianca, Zoe and her mother there. Zoe asks Binx and Josh to leave so they can talk alone. Without makeup and in men's clothes, Zoe offers to be Freddie for Margie again! She even sheds the English accent and offers to buy them tickets back to Indiana. "It'll be perfect, just like it was before," Zoe says. Margie doesn't buy the act and asks whey Zoe is doing this. Trying to convince Margie that she can ignore what she wants as long as she can have her mother, Zoe pushes Margie to leave town with her. "Freddie, no," she exclaims, when Zoe grabs a pair of scissors and prepares to cut her hair! Margie takes the scissors, telling Zoe to talk to her about what she really wants. "It all hurt me, Ma," she says, crying over the pain of her life. She explains that she kept her life filled with stuff so that she wouldn't have to have quiet moments alone with the pain of who she was. "I wanted to die," she says. Finally realizing the pain that Zoe has been in, Margie asks when she first knew. Zoe talks about crying through her first haircut and Margie is shocked that she knew so early. "I can't be your son," she says. Margie reaches out, calling her Zoe for the first time and telling her she is glad she's growing her hair out again. Mother and son embrace!
In the hall, Bianca worries about what is going to happen inside. She tells Josh how they found Zoe, with her face half made up, as they head to her penthouse. Josh tries to calm her down, explaining that Margie loves her son. Bianca's worry, though, is that Zoe will ignore who she is and revert to Zarf or Freddie just to make her mother happy! "Doctors and group go out the window when compared with a mother's love and acceptance," Bianca says, worried. Josh advises Bianca to take some time and stay away; saying what happens between Zoe and her mother has to be between the two of them alone. "Just sit here and wait?" Bianca says, not sure she can do that. Josh tries to distract her with a bag of goodies; Bianca shows him the things she bought for Zoe - music, movies, books - because she has so few things of her own. As she goes through the sack, Bianca comes to a realization. "She was right," Bianca says, flashing back to their first meeting when Zoe, as Zarf, asked if she believed in love at first sight. She asks Josh the same question and he talks about Babe. Bianca admits she felt something from the first moment she knew Zoe. "I want to be there for her. I'm falling for her," Bianca admits.
In the Chandler parlor, Babe asks JR for a decision as Josh eavesdrops. Angry, JR pours himself a drink. He doesn't drink it, telling Babe that he is willing to do anything not to lose her. "You still love me!" he says. With tears in her eyes, Babe asks JR to understand that she does love him but that doesn't change the fact that they aren't good together any longer. JR picks up a picture of the family, agreeing to the divorce. "Thank you," Babe says. At the door, Josh slips away. Babe offers to give back her Chandler shares, but JR can't listen any longer and walks away. Later, Tad finds him in the entryway and JR turns his anger on him. Tad tries to be understanding, but the anger over Krystal's baby comes to the surface. "Where is the little boy I loved?" he says, wondering if JR knows who he is any longer. Without waiting for an answer, Tad heads upstairs. JR goes to the garden, and calls his lawyer. He tells him to proceed, giving Babe anything she wants. Before hanging up, JR tells the man to stall it, though, as long as possible! Babe returns to find Josh in the parlor. Again, she asks him to leave. He ignores her request and tries to kiss her! Babe pushes him away. With a sudden change of heart, Josh tells Babe that he's leaving the mansion!
At the Chandler mansion, Josh checks Krystal's blood pressure as she questions him about his motives. She believes the only reason Josh is there is Babe! Josh tells her that he and Babe are no more over than Krystal and Adam are! Meanwhile, downstairs in the parlor, JR wonders if Babe wants the divorce so she can move on to Josh! "I want this divorce for a lot of reasons and Josh isn't one of them," she promises. Babe tries to make things easier for JR, telling him that she understands how he feels and appreciates the space he has given her. But that won't change her mind - she wants a divorce! JR is hurt that Babe isn't willing to try again. "I did change," he says, reminding her about the land he bought far away from Adam. "Please, just give me another shot," he pleads. Emotionally, Babe tells JR that she can't. "I don't want to fight with you anymore," she says and tells JR that she won't force the custody issue. She wants them to share little A! Tad and Jamie burst into the parlor, demanding to know where Adam is! Before they can tell them anything, Josh comes in, telling them that Adam isn't with Krystal. Babe demands to know what is going on. "Adam burned down my house," Tad exclaims. Krystal listens from outside the door as Tad rages against Adam, telling them more about the fire. Angry, she comes in, telling Tad that he is wrong about Adam. "We have all provoked him," she says, but tells them that she still believes in him. She believes Adam still loves her! Stunned that she hasn't seen through Adam yet, Tad tells Krystal that she has lost her mind. Krystal asks them all to leave the house but both Babe and Tad agree on one thing - they aren't leaving her to deal with Adam alone. "If you drag me out of here," she tells Tad, "you'll never see my baby!" Tad and Jamie leave angrily. Krystal leaves, too, and telling Josh that they want to be alone, Babe asks him to leave, too. Reluctantly, he leaves the room. When they are alone, Babe asks if JR can let her go this time.
At the Chandler mansion, Josh makes himself comfortable as the new heir saying, “Thanks, Dad, who should we destroy today?” JR comforts Colby, who is freaking out about how Adam is acting, telling her he doesn’t mind being exiled from Adam. Babe finally speaks up, telling Josh to leave and letting him know that she doesn't want him there! Tad says it might be a good idea for him to stay, because at least Krystal will have medical care! When Adam tells Josh their first action is to dissolve Chandler Enterprises, JR pipes up, telling Josh that dissolving the company will dissolve Babe’s business interests, too! Krystal comes in, telling everyone to leave Adam alone. She believes if everyone will back off, he will calm down so that they can straighten things out between them. “This is between my husband and me,” Krystal says, telling everyone to stop playing their games. Colby storms from the room, asking if anyone cares about their family anymore. Krystal follows. Adam ignores everything Krystal has said and instead begins tearing up mail addresses to anyone except him. JR follows, telling Adam that the plan isn’t going to work. “Josh and Babe are done,” he says, not worried about his competition. Adam walks to the parlor and invites JR to take a look at just how “over” Josh and Babe really are. Inside, Babe is trying to convince Josh to leave the mansion. “I’m here to make sure you’re okay,” he says. Babe can’t believe what she is hearing. She doesn’t want Josh anywhere near her and tells him that! When he can’t get through to her, Josh leaves to check out his new home. Babe slams the door behind him. Meanwhile, upstairs, Krystal has made herself comfortable in Adam's bedroom. He is shocked to see her there. Krystal wakes, saying, “You still love me.” Adam tries to convince her that his love has been destroyed but she isn’t convinced. “You broke me but you can’t fix it,” he says, telling her that staying to fight for him won’t work. Adam slams out of the room, but Krystal is sure that he still loves her.
Back at the Chandler mansion, Tad questions Josh's motives for going along with Adam's plan. He tells Josh that he is no different from JR - they are both users! But, Tad believes JR at least puts other people before his own desires. “Do you care for anybody else?” he asks. Angry, Josh leaves the house, running into Jamie at the door. Talking to Tad, Jamie warns him that with Janet on the loose and Adam on the rampage he needs to leave. Tad tells him he isn’t leaving and asks Jamie to tell Jeff and Joe to be on the lookout. He heads upstairs to talk to Krystal again, but she wants nothing to do with him or his ideas. She believes she is perfectly safe and that Adam will come back to her! A call interrupts Tad, alerting him to the fact that his house is on fire! Back downstairs, JR comes the parlor, asking if Babe is alright. She assures him that she is fine, and then takes a huge step forward, telling him that they need to start working on the divorce and custody issues.
At the Chandler mansion, Krystal calls the institution to get Adam released but can't get past an attendant. Tad comes in, telling her that Adam needs the time to relax. Babe comes in, asking where JR is, but neither have seen him. Krystal tells Tad that sending Adam to the institution was wrong but as far as Tad is concerned having Adam anywhere near his child is just waiting for disaster to strike. Babe intercedes between them, telling Tad to back off and Krystal to understand that Tad has parental rights! Tad hands Krystal a paper, he's gotten a court date! She can't believe what he has done and angrily tells him that it won't work - she and Adam will raise their child! More angry than ever, Tad tells her that she won't win. "If you want my baby to have a good life then stop this," Krystal says. Tad reminds her that he is the baby's father and he has rights. Telling him that she isn't part of the Martin/Chandler feud, Krystal tells him that she won't let Charlotte be part of it either. Tad leaves and Babe follows, asking him to calm down and think things through. She asks him to back off, just a little, for the baby's sake. Tad heads upstairs. Returning to Krystal, Babe asks her to understand Tad's side of things but Krystal cuts her off. She doesn't want to hear anything about Tad being the baby's father! "I thought I could count on you," Krystal says! Babe won't back down, though. She wants Krystal to face the fact that Tad isn't going anywhere! Krystal leaves to be alone. JR returns, telling Babe about voting Adam out of Chandler Enterprises. She wonder what Adam will do to retaliate. The next morning, Tad, Babe, JR, Colby and Krystal are enjoying breakfast when Adam finally returns home - with his new son! It's Josh!
At Fusion, Zoe is frantically making calls to try to gain new clients. Josh and Bianca are helping her. A woman arrives, asking for Freddie - it's Zoe's mom! Bianca introduces herself and Josh quickly gets off the phone, too. Her mother approaches, smiles and envelopes Zoe in a hug. "Please don't do this to our family," she says, pulling away from him. Bianca tries to interrupt, but Zoe wants to hear whatever her mother has to say. "I saw pictures in the tabloids of you dressed. . .It's not right, honey," she says. With tears in her eyes, Zoe tells her mother that she is a woman! "I was born a girl! On the inside I am a woman," she says, begging her mother to understand. Mrs. Luper doesn't understand and wonders if the past drug and alcohol use has effected her son in some way. She asks Zoe to come home with her, to return to her life as Freddie. Zoe rushes from the room and Bianca follows. Alone with Mrs. Luper, Josh tries to make her see that Zoe is in fact a woman, but she doesn't believe him. "Zoe didn't choose this," Josh says, telling her that medically it is possible that she is a woman trapped in a man's body. Mrs. Luper wonders if she did something wrong during the pregnancy to cause this. Cautioning her that no one did anything wrong, Josh asks Mrs. Luper to just accept Zoe as she is.
Zoe arrives to work at Fusion and Bianca shows her a new ad layout. While they work, Kendall calls Zach but Lily won't put her call through! "Please, Lily, just ask him, just this once," she says. Kendall hangs up when Lily won't put her through. Josh arrives, demanding to see Babe, who isn't there. Kendall gives it right back to him and together she and Bianca ask Josh to forget about Babe - who has obviously made her choice - and instead to make things right with Erica. "Just get over it," Kendall says, but Josh won't back down. Instead, he brings Zoe into the conversation, asking what she thinks. "She's your mother, cut the woman some slack!" Zoe says. Josh can't forgive Erica though, and in fact, blames her alone for Babe being back at the Chandler mansion! Josh storms out and Kendall and Bianca follow, leaving Zoe to deal with a client. "You're a guy in a dress aren't you?" he asks, offended and refusing to deal with Zoe. Kendall and the others return as the client berates Zoe. Kendall interrupts, telling the client to leave, that they don't need his business! "Get out of my sight before I throw you out!" she exclaims. Kendall tells Zoe to find three new orders to replace the lost order and then leaves to get the money to repay Erica. Zoe is touched by Kendall's defense of her.
