Hannah and Josh arrive at the Yacht Club for a late breakfast. He comes on to Hannah, making her giggle. Josh begins picking her brain about her life prior to coming to Pine Valley and working for Zach. "As a spy you are as subtle as a chainsaw," she says! She tells him to take the day off and to stay away from Cambias until he is ready to work! Colby arrives and Josh blows her off.
A Day Filled With Surprises!
Josh heads for the sauna at Cambias Industries to relax. Hannah, clad only in a towel, joins him! Josh points out that Hannah is in the men's steam room but she doesn't seem to care. In fact, she tells him the only reason he is there is because he left some work incomplete! Zach arrives, surprised to see them there together. Hannah tells Josh to have the completed work on her desk ASAP and leaves. Josh begins talking about Kendall but there isn't much to say. The silence becomes uncomfortable and Zach leaves. At the door, he asks Josh to report to his office before returning to work! "We need to talk about what's going on between you and Hannah behind closed doors," Zach explains and leaves the steam room.
Adam Gets Cuffed!
Inside ConFusion, the party is underway. The guests play Hot Potato with Annie's bouquet. Del catches it but quickly tosses it away. Meanwhile, Kendall pulls Zach away from the crowd so they can talk about Alexander. He tells her that Alex has been transferred to the psych hospital and reminds her that Alex can't get to them ever again. As he talks to Kendall, he watches Hannah who shares a meaningful look with Josh. Di interrupts them, pulling Kendall back to the party. They begin talking about Ava and Kendall worries about her effect on Lily. "Give her a chance to prove you and everybody else wrong," Di asks. Across the room, Ryan and Annie talk about the future and Erin. Kendall gathers the crowd's attention and proposes a toast. Looking at Zach, she wishes the couple well, saying she was wrong about Annie. "I wasn't fair to you," she says to Annie, "but I am so thankful that you are in Ryan's life." Di and Julia come out, dressed to the nines in bridesmaid dresses. Watching the goofiness, Zach and Del talk about what they always thought wedding showers were like - strippers and all! Di interrupts them and begins to recite a still poem she wrote for the occasion. Julia takes the stage next with marital advice for the couple - including always saying 'Yes, Dear', never cooking and having separate bathrooms! Di puts a horrific veil on Annie, who asks Ryan to save her. Ryan thanks their friends for coming and offers his own toast to Annie. "I want everyone to know how incredibly happy this woman makes me," he says as Annie begins to cry. The party breaks up and Ryan whisks Annie off for a private celebration. Kendall takes Zach into a secluded corner to talk. "What don't I know?" she asks. Zach talks about Hannah without mentioning her name and tells Kendall to think of the anger and resentment that that woman might have. "And imagine that she has a final chance to act on that hate," he says.
Confrontations R Us!
At ConFusion, Kendall puts the finishing touches on Annie's wedding shower. Josh helps and Kendall suggests he pick up a hot chick at the party - or at work! Josh flashes back to the make-out session with Hannah and swears that he has sworn off office romances! Lily and Jack arrives with gifts and Kendall tells Jack that Erica isn't coming. He is disappointed but covers it well. Lily runs into Jonathan and angrily tells him to leave her - and her sister - alone. More guests arrive and the party gets loud. Lily puts on ear muffs and sunglasses to deaden the lights and sound. Annie and Ryan arrive and Kendall introduces them to the crowd, which goes wild. Lily, with sunglasses and ear muffs on, presents a gift to the happy couple. A few minutes later, Jack takes her home. Jonathan takes center stage with a toast. Across the room, Josh asks Kendall where Zach is as he arrives with Hannah. Kendall asks the other woman about Josh's office performance and Josh chokes on his drink! Hannah leaves to get a drink and Zach tells Kendall about Derek's discovery. Kendall is relieved that Alexander is out of the picture. Meanwhile, behind the bar, Di tells Del to try to make things up to Julia. Feeling stubborn, Dell tells Di not to worry about him.
An Office Romance?
At Cambias, Josh barges in to Hannah's office, finding her scantily clad in only a bra and skirt! "Whoops," he says but doesn't leave the office. Hannah grabs her shirt while Josh closes the door, apologizing for barging in. She tells him to leave the files and go. He does. With Lily, Josh talks about diversifying the company retirement program. Zach arrives but when Hannah leaves her office, he heads inside his own office without talking to her. She follows him, bringing him information about a pending deal. Hannah asks about Kendall and Zach pushes the conversation back to the deal. Derek arrives to tell Zach that Alexander is now in locked down wing of the psychiatric hospital infirmary. Hannah leaves. Derek explains that Alexander is paralyzed from the neck down because of the shooting and no longer a danger to anyone. He also lets Zach know that they found the man who helped Alex send the note about Kendall. Zach is relieved. Derek goes on to tell Zach about his case load, hinting that he won't be looking very hard for Alex's attacker!
Hannah leaves Zach's office, shutting herself back inside her private office. Josh follows, asking how she is holding up. Hannah tries to push him away again, but Josh offers his help for whatever she might need! He asks why she slept at the office the night before. Angry that he is trying to psychoanalyze her, Hannah tells Josh to back off and stop trying to make things personal. "It doesn't have to get personal," he says, shutting the door and moving closer to Hannah. From outside, Zach looks at the closed door, curious about Hannah and Josh. Inside her office, Josh locks the door and the two passionately kiss and begin taking off their clothes! Josh is going at it when Hannah pulls away, telling him to get dressed; that their "coffee break" is over! "And don't even consider telling anyone," she says as they both dress. Josh returns to business mode and leaves the office.
Suspects, Galore!
In the outer office, Josh questions Hannah about a pending deal. Not wanting to deal with him, she tells him to just deal with things himself for once. Josh whispers in her ear that her secret is safe with him - he won't tell anyone that she isn't made of steel! Hannah walks away, annoyed. When she returns, Josh tells her that Alexander isn't dead! As Josh questions how the news makes Hannah feel, Zach and Kendall leave the office, interrupting them. Zach asks Josh to take Kendall home, leaving Zach and Hannah to talk. Hannah tells him that she is sorry for revisiting the past and asking what he would have done had he known she was pregnant. "All this stuff you need to forget. I'm sorry," she says and walks away. Zach follows, telling her that he didn't shoot Alexander so she has no reason to apologize. Hannah puts on her cold face, pretending not to care whether he did or didn't shoot his father. Zach asks if she agrees that Alexander should live a long time, suffering alone and in silence, but Hannah doesn't answer. Zach leaves. Hannah sinks into a chair.
Outside her home, Kendall and Josh are playing with Spike when Krystal, Babe, JR and Colby arrive. Krystal plays with Spike for a moment and Kendall reaches out to the other woman. Krystal goes inside. Zach arrives and begins playing with Spike as Krystal watches from across the way. She slowly closes the blinds on the family scene.
A Mystery Afoot!
Kendall is agitated about Zach being out of the office on the day that his father is to be transferred to the psychiatric hospital, and is ranting to Josh about it. The two of them enter Zach’s office and find the note Zach had received earlier: “See you again soon, son. Your loving father.” Kendall begins ranting double-time, recalling that Alex had threatened to take Spike.
Operation: Jenny!
At the Cambias offices, Hannah threatens to fire Josh because he was four minutes late. "Four minutes and 48 seconds," Lily says as they go into Hannah's office. They return a few minutes later with several files in hand. When Lily tells them she doesn't have time, Hannah assures her that the files aren't for her to deal with - they are for Josh! Seeing that an argument is brewing, Lily heads for her closet. "Until you prove more, you're only my administrative assistant," she says and turns away! She trips when her high heel breaks and Josh begins to laugh. Angry, Hannah runs for her office and slams the door!
