Greenlee winds up at the yacht club and orders a tea. She doesn't think she can handle anything harder. Josh joins her, immediately asking about Ryan. Greenlee doesn't want to talk about it. Josh realizes something is wrong and pulls Greenlee away from her table with his own thoughts on how to make things okay for her.
Adam and JR - Together Again!
At the Chandler mansion Josh lays out the new groundrules for JR at the office - he'll be monitored every moment of every day! JR reminds both Zach and Josh of his stock in the company, telling them that they need him too much to put him in a corner. Adam backs up JR. JR reminds Zach that Josh doesn't have a business background but Zach pretends not to care. Meanwhile, Josh reminds Adam that JR doesn't have much of a business background either. Adam brings up Babe, telling Josh that he couldn't even hold Babe so how could he hold Chandler? Kendall walks in, suggesting they turn the mansion into a shelter for abused women and children! Zach suggests they give it to Myrtle for a new boarding house. The doorbell rings and Adam answers it to find Opal outside. She wants to turn the mansion into Opal's Glamorama II! Marian follows Opal in, flashing around real estate cards and offering her services. Kendall pipes up that Palmer wants the mansion, too. Opal and Marian begin arguing over who should have the mansion and Zach suggests they raffle it off as a fundraiser for the Miranda center. Adam is practically hyperventilating and JR is getting more angry by the second. Adam successfully gets rid of Kendall, Josh, Marian and Opal but Zach stays behind. JR prods Zach with Alexander's past. He and Adam stand together, a united front, promising to take Zach down! Zach isn't worried, though. He leaves the mansion. Alone, Adam tells JR that he won't forgive him. JR swears not to let Zach take Adam's home. Adam tells JR he doesn't trust him, but he'll work with him - for now!
Lily - The Next Fusion Girl?
Zach calls Josh for a meeting at his casino after seeing the morning paper. Josh stops by and Zach offers him a new position within Cambias. Josh leaves as Kendall arrives. She tells Zach about her new plan for Lily, offering her wifely duties in exchange! Zach agrees. Kendall realizes there is a ton of cash on the table and asks what is going on. She whispers a suggestion to Zach, which makes him laugh and they leave the casino.
Meanwhile at the Chandler mansion, Adam rips the paper to shreds and tosses the pieces across the room after reading it. JR walks in, also annoyed because the papers are blaming the entire thing on him. Once more he apologizes to Adam for his part in the scheme and promises to get Adam's stock back. He surprises Adam, telling him he has a lead on Seamus. Adam pretends not to care but JR keeps laying out his plan to make Seamus turn on Zach. JR suggests asking Palmer to help them, angering Adam. "Palmer couldn't get people to buy into his chicken franchises," he says sarcastically. They begin arguing about who did the worst thing. Colby arrives and overhears that JR is responsible for the kidnapping attempt! Colby can't believe what JR did and turns on him. Adam fuels the gap between his children, telling Colby they have to move within a month. Colby recounts the ways Adam has saved JR's bacon in the past and asks how he could have turned on Adam now. JR tells Colby she doesn't understand the entire situation. "I am doing all I can to make this right," he says. JR grabs Colby and drags her out of the room. In the entryway, he tells Colby that apologizing to Adam won't work, that Adam would turn it around on him. Colby tells him to go apologize, not believing it when JR tells her that the only apology Adam will understand comes with money. Adam joins them. He and JR go back in the parlor to talk business. Just then Zach and Kendall arrive with their designer to begin making a few changes to the manse. She and JR go into the entryway and she rubs in the fact that she now owns JR's home. She warns him to stay away from her, from Spike and from Amanda and refuses to talk about the past. JR turns the tables, surprising her when he tells her how much he misses their old friendship. "This is just me being sincere," he says. Kendall is touched but doesn't show it and returns to Zach. As the Chandlers seethe, Kendall starts separating things for Good Will donations! She and the designers go upstairs to finish looking around. Adam sends Colby to keep an eye on her. Zach stays behind with the Chandlers, feeling on top of the world. Josh arrives just then, calling Adam "Dad" and ribbing JR. Josh pours coffee for he and Zach, asking "Dad" if he wants some, too. JR orders Josh out but he won't go. He's Jr's new boss! "The future of Chandler is in his hands now," Zach says.
Adam Gambles For His Future
Annie returns to Fusion, followed by Greenlee. Sensing the tension between them, Kendall wonders what exactly happened while they were both gone. Annie walks out. Kendall invites Greenlee out for dinner. They go to the yacht club with Kendall trying to find out what happened but Greenlee won't talk at first. She finally comes clean, telling Kendall that Ryan has shut her out of his life completely. "As far as he is concerned I no longer exist," she says angrily. Greenlee changes the subject to work and begins brainstorming some ideas for the new line, but the subject of Annie isn't over. When Kendall assures Greenlee that Annie is on board with the company Greenlee suggests they get rid of her! Telling Kendall that Annie doesn't fit she suggests that they replace the other woman. "It's bad enough she has Ryan does she have to stick her nose in my company, too?" Greenlee asks. Kendall defends Annie and tells Greenlee that she can't get on board with forcing Annie out! Greenlee gets whiney, questioning Ryan's commitment to Annie and reminding Kendall that Ryan kissed her! Kendall is surprised to hear that, even more so when Greenlee tells her that Ryan kissed her just before telling her to get out of his life! She tells Kendall that she hasn't decided what to do about Ryan. Josh walks in and Kendall asks him to join them for dinner. Seeing him gives Kendall an idea - Josh and Greens could make a great couple! They play along with her, pretending not to be acquainted. Josh begins telling Greenlee about his good points and recently-single-status. Josh talks about Babe, Greenlee talks about Ryan and they realize they have a lot in common - started with unrequited love! Kendall realizes there could be more to Josh and Greens than meets the eye.
It's Time To Fight!
Greenlee heads to ConFusion where she meets with Josh. She invites him to join her for a special evening and they take off. In a private corner, Greenlee toasts to Annie - her savior! Asking him to dance, Greenlee tells him that things aren't nearly over between her and Ryan! She is convinced that Ryan is still in love with her. Josh tells her not to be so sure but Greenlee is convinced. "That marriage is as good as over," she says, confident that she will win.
Faking It!
Back at the hospital, Joe enters Erica's room and tells them the jig is up! Tad and Joe talk in the hall; neither giving an inch. Joe wants Erica to check out - now! Tad wants to give her a little time. He convinces Joe that allowing Erica to stay at the hospital will help put Erica and Jack back on the right track. Joe gives them one night. Tad returns to Erica and finds Josh setting up an EKG machine to track her "symptoms". Josh worries that Joe will kick him out of the hospital for good this time but Tad tells him things will work out. Josh finishes setting up Erica's machinery. Tad leaves and runs into Jack in the hallway. He rushes inside to see Erica. With Josh standing silently beside the bed Jack asks how she is. She tells him she is just tired but there is nothing really wrong. Josh leaves to check on some "tests". Erica thanks Jack for coming to her. She naps and then wakes pretending not to know where she is. She tells him about the dream she had - of luggage trying to keep them apart. "I fought the luggage but the luggage fought back," she says. Jack begins to catch on to her scheme. He reminds Erica that he packed up her things and sent them to the Valley Inn and that is what she is remembering. Erica drifts back into dreamland. She wakes again and asks Jack if she was supposed to come to him the night before and he tells her she was. He asks about her accident and Erica skirts around the details. Jack asks what tests have been run but Erica doesn't give a direct answer. She blames the hospitalization on stress. Jack plays along and Erica buys it all the way. He even apologizes for how he reacted to her New Divorce reality show! Jack tells Erica that he is going to get her a surprise, tells her the rest and leaves the hospital room. She sinks into the pillows completely proud of her scheme!
Who Kidnapped JR?
Zach and Kendall are in shock as well, wondering what Greenlee is trying this time around. Angry, Zach starts to leave but Kendall pulls him back, telling him they will work on this together. Kendall continues to pack things but makes Zach promise not to go after Greenlee on his own. Zach pulls her close, reminding her that a number of people heard Greenlee wash her hands of Kendall and Ryan and the unborn Spike. Josh arrives after Kendall leaves and wonders how they are doing. He and Zach talk and Josh learns about the custody suit. Josh offers to help Zach get Greenlee preoccupied with something new. "I could step in, she'll feel less lonely," he suggests. Zach isn't sure it will work but finally tells him to go ahead with things.
Trouble Is Brewing For JR!
Greenlee arrives home and tells out a loud scream. Josh arrives, barging in and refusing to go even though she tells him to. Angry, she tells Josh to have Greg Madden brought back to life to testify against Zach! Greenlee pours wine for them and they talk, with her continuing to blame Zach. "You can still be a mother," Josh tells her, talking about other options. She doesn't want a baby, though, unless it is Ryan's! Josh tells her that she will make a great mom and offers to help Greenlee become a mom, with the help of the fertility clinic. When Greenlee begins to talk badly about Kendall and Zach, Josh backs up his sister. "She did all of this for you," he says, reminding Greenlee that Kendall didn't want the baby until after Greens took off. Josh offers to make her dinner but she declines. She thanks him for being there and he leaves.
Greenlee Threatens Zach!
At her penthouse, Greenlee runs in to Josh who wonders just how much trouble she caused. "Infinity," Greenlee says. Josh follows her inside and lights some candles. Greens doesn't say anything and he turns to leave. "I am this nasty person who wants everyone to suffer," she says, and then says she doesn't want to be that person. Josh tells her she doesn't have to be. Greenlee, though, can't get past the fact that Annie is living the life that she wants to live. She compares herself to Alice in Wonderland, not liking that she is now the little girl lost. Josh tells her she is messed up, but she has to decide which Greenlee she wants to be: the lost girl or the confidant woman that she used to be. Greenlee asks him to leave. Greens picks up a toy doll and cries herself to sleep.
