The Waiting Game Begins...

At the penthouse, Annie arrives. Ryan fills her in on the shootings. Worried about Julia, Annie leaves. After a while, he leaves and runs into Greenlee. He tells her about the shootings. She hugs him, wondering what else could go wrong. Greenlee asks Ryan if they can grab some motorcycles and just ride off into the sunset. He thinks it's a good plan. Greens realizes he is only humoring her and wouldn't really leave Spike and Emma. She gets in her car to leave and both hear a news report that someone has died.

At the hospital, a nurse begins CPR on Julia. Krystal can only watch as Joe says Julia didn't want surgery. Babe and JR arrive, worried about Tad. Krystal is startled to realize he was shot, too. Just then Frankie and Jake arrive with Tad on a gurney. One surgeon tries to keep Jake out of the OR but he insists on staying. Dixie appears and stands by Tad. Frankie goes to Krystal and fills her in on Tad's condition as Jesse and Angie arrive with Cassandra, Ruth, Opal and Greg in tow. Angie asks Frankie to care for Greg's wound; Krystal tells them that Julia is not doing well. Angie hurries off to find Jake and Tad. She gets to Julia's room first and tries to talk her back to life as the doctors shock her heart. Joe gives instructions for more drugs but Julia is already gone. Angie breaks down as they turn off the monitors and Joe halts CPR. Joe rages against Rob. In the hall, she tells him that Tad was shot, too. Annie arrives, eager to see Julia but Babe holds her back from going into the hospital room. In another treatment room, Frankie gives Greg some instructions on caring for his wound. Greg asks about Julia and Frankie tells him how Julia helped save his life. Frankie blames himself for Rob's actions. Greg says he couldn't have known how evil Rob was. Joe comes into the waiting room and tells everyone about Julia's death. No one can believe it. Joe hurries off to see about Tad. In his treatment room, Joe asks Jake for information. Jake says he is trying to stabilize Tad so they can operate but he's lost a lot of blood. Aidan arrives as Cass tells Frankie about Julia's death. Josh arrives and stands with Joe and Ruth. Jack is alone across the room. JR, Babe and Krystal are leaning on one another as they wait for news about Tad.

Zach calls the hospital and learns that Julia has died. Stunned, he tells Kendall and decides he has to call Maria. They go to the hospital; Zach talks to Joe about contacting Maria and learns that Julia asked Krystal to do it. Kendall sees Aidan at Julia's door and says how sorry she is. Ryan and Greenlee arrive; Jack fills them in. Greenlee sees Kendall and Aidan standing together. Annie walks up, sees Ryan with Greenlee and walks away quickly. Jack asks Ryan to give him a minute with Greenlee and then apologizes for telling her about Aidan and Kendall so abruptly. She says she is okay and asks Ryan to take her home. They leave together. Annie is sitting alone, crying, when she sees a brochure about fertility problems. Jake finally returns to the waiting room. He tells Joe that Tad still isn't stabilized but they can't wait any longer for surgery. Joe looks over the charts and hugs Jake. Krystal asks to see Tad first and Jake takes her into the room. JR realizes no one has called Jamie. Just then Adam arrives and asks what he can do. In the treatment room, Krystal begs Tad to hold on. She kisses him and says, "I love you." Krystal returns and sees Adam; she asks about Kathy. Adam sees Dixie is right behind her.

Vasectomy? What Vasectomy?

At home, Annie is miserable, having just overheard Ryan tell Kendall that he's not in love with Annie. She falls to the chair, buries her face in her hands and cries. Emma interrupts, wondering why mommy is crying. Annie sucks it up and tries to pass it off like she's not crying, telling Emma that she had a bad dream is all. Ryan comes home and it's a friendly but uncomfortable greeting between the two of them. Annie puts on her happy face, but doesn't tell Ryan the news that his vasectomy was never performed. Instead, she gets some wine to celebrate his new memories. But Ryan's not feeling so celebratory. He wants to watch a movie, and holds off Annie, who's got love-making on her mind. She sits on the floor next to him, and he moves, putting a coffee table between the two of them. Soon, uncomfortable, Ryan wants to check on Emma, leaving Annie by herself. Alone, Annie pulls out the class action lawsuit papers and rips them up. "You don't need to know about this. You just need to give me another amazing gift," she says.

He Loves Her Not.

Ryan is at Fusion, telling Kendall about his recent memory of making love to Annie. He tries to skirt the subject and his uneasy feelings, but she makes him talk. "Ryan, that's great! That's amazing!" Kendall exclaims when she hears what he's remembered, but Ryan's not sharing in the joy. He may remember Annie. He may remember making love to her. But he doesn't remember being in love with her. Meanwhile, Annie is over the moon, talking to Emma about how wonderful her life with Ryan will be, but she's interrupted when a man named Michael Harris shows up at the door. He has news that there's a class action lawsuit being filed against the clinic where Ryan's vasectomy was performed. He tells her that Ryan's surgery was never, in fact, actually performed. Annie's thrilled and rushes to Fusion to break the good news to Ryan, but when she gets off the elevator, she overhears Ryan and Kendall talking about his feelings for Annie and questioning whether or not they were ever real.

Everybody Has A Secret...

Ryan pulls away from Annie at the stables. She wonders what is going on. "I remember you," he says! He describes the night they made love in the stables but Annie is afraid to believe him. He has another memory flash, this time of her falling off the saddle and into the water trough. Annie realizes he is really recovering some memories of her. Ryan asks what finally convinced her that their love was perfect. She says it took some time but she finally just gave in. He wants to remember more but the flashes stop. He kisses her and they make love. After, Ryan thinks about their relationship.

You Didn't Tell Me I Could Still Feel!

Ryan picks up Annie and takes her to the stables where he has a champagne picnic set up. He says this is to make up for missing their anniversary. Admitting he still doesn't remember, he says he wants to recapture their love. Annie can't take it and says she saw him at ConFusion with Greens! He says she should have come over but Annie angrily says she couldn't. She goes off on a tangent about Greenlee's needs being more important to Ryan than her needs and then says Greenlee doesn't care who she is with - as long as it is a man with broad shoulders! Ryan tries to calm her down but Annie won't listen. He asks her to start over but she can't do that. "You took the life I wanted," she exclaims and storms out. Ryan catches up to her and when he grabs her arms, he has a memory flash - of Annie!

Still Keeping Secrets!

At Fusion, Amanda is excited about the new business Fusion has been getting since the pole dancing snafu. Annie isn't. Amanda chalks up Annie's disinterest to Ryan's amnesia and tries to cheer her up. Annie finally says she is upset that today is their anniversary and Ryan doesn't remember it. Amanda tells her to stop missing Ryan and go after him! She hands Annie a sexy dress.

At ConFusion, Greenlee and Kendall make a toast to their men and then Greenlee goes back to Aidan. Kendall chats with Ryan for a while. He says he wants the kind of love that Greenlee and Aidan have; she says he already has it - with Annie! Amanda walks in with Annie and encourages her to go after Ryan. Seeing him alone at the bar, though, Annie hesitates. Zach and Kendall leave; Aidan is distracted with a phone call and Greens goes to Ryan. She finally begins to break down from the relief that Aidan is safe. He holds her. Annie sees them and turns away! Aidan returns and holds Greenlee.

Relative Danger!

Annie meets Richie in the park. He tells her he wants money - and lots of it! - or he'll spill the beans on what really happened the night the penthouse was supposedly broken into! She tries to leave but Richie grabs her and asks why she lied about the break-in. Annie insists she didn't lie about anything but Richie keeps pushing her. Angry, Annie tells Richie to keep his theories to himself - or else! Richie calls her bluff and Annie writes him a check. He leaves, telling Annie they make a good team.
